Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device in a motor vehicle or a other movable object, with a transmitter and at least two transmit antennas, the transmitter with one of the transmit an tennen is connectable.
In motor vehicles, transmitters are in particular from Mobile phones available. Fixed mobile phones or holding devices directions for portable mobile telephones that can be used therein have in the Re gel a transmitter ante attached to the body of the motor vehicle ne, over which the cell phone ver with base stations over radio waves is binding. If the mobile phone is also used after an accident in which the Transmitting antenna can be damaged or destroyed, still ready for use is to be provided, at least a second transmitting antenna on which after the other transmitter antenna has been destroyed can. This is especially true if an emergency call system is connected to the Mobile phone is connected.
The object of the invention is therefore a device for switching to specify between several transmit antennas that manufacture inexpensively bar and can be used.
This object is achieved in that the device monitors Chungsvorrichtung for monitoring the adjustment between the High-frequency power amplifier of the transmitter and the transmission antennas and that the transmitter depending on the adaptation by means of a Switching device separable from a transmitting antenna and with another ren transmitting antenna is connectable. It is advantageous here that from the Si gnal be concluded on the functionality of the transmitting antenna can monitor itself without the functionality of the transmitting antenna to have to.
By using a directional coupler whose signals are monitored a particularly simple and effective monitoring is possible. So in particular, signal S41 changes in the event of a mismatch, d. that is, if the transmitter antenna connected to the transmitter is damaged or is completely destroyed.
By arranging the directional coupler between the radio frequency line power amplifier of the transmitter and a switch between the switches existing transmission antennas, only a directional coupler for all transmit antennas required.
By amplifying the monitored signal using an amplifier feedback on the transmitter is prevented.
Because the monitored signal is the same by means of a rectifier is direct, is a direct tax if the signal waveform is appropriate voltage for a switching device for switching between the Transmitting antennas can be obtained.
The fact that the directional coupler is arranged in the transmitter, in particular in the case of mobile phones, a component already present in the transmitter be used. As a result, the cost of components is even lower.
By arranging the directional coupler outside the transmitter z. B. at Mobile phones no re-certification of the transmitter required what represents a more cost-effective solution, especially for smaller series.
If the transmitter can preferably be used with a transmission antenna, can the placement of this transmitting antenna on a radio technically arranged favorable location on the body of the motor vehicle become. So this is before damage or destruction optimal transmission mode possible.
If a transmission antenna is attached to the underside of the motor vehicle is arranged, this is particularly useful when the Untersei te of the motor vehicle shows up after an accident and so a good one Transmitting antenna position is reached.
Through a protective housing on the underside of the vehicle Transmitting antenna is protected and is in normal vehicle operation mostly usable after a rollover.
By automatically unfolding the transmitter antenna protection This transmitter antenna is ready for use when needed.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the figures. It demonstrate:
Fig. 1: den Signalverlauf eines Richtkopplers, Fig. 1: the waveform of a directional coupler,
Fig. 2: ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung, FIG. 2 shows a first embodiment of the invention,
Fig. 3: ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung, FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of the invention,
Fig. 4: ein Kraftfahrzeug mit zwei Sendeantennen. Fig. 4: a motor vehicle with two transmit antennas.
It is particularly advantageous to use the signal curve of a directional coupler to monitor the adaptation of a transmitter to a transmission antenna. The course of the output signal 521 and the signal S41 of a directional coupler can be seen in FIG . It can be seen that the output signal S21 is strongly attenuated in the event of a mismatch. At the same time, the signal S41 is greatly increased by a mismatch. Therefore, the latter signal is preferably used to control the switchover between the transmitting antennas.
So erhält jedes
sisstation 5 vorgeschriebene Sendeleistung hochgefahren.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG. 2:
A transmitter 1 of a mobile phone according to the GSM standard has a high-frequency power amplifier 2 , a directional coupler 3 and a power control 4 for the high-frequency power amplifier 2 . The inputs and outputs of the directional coupler 3 are referred to as gate 1 , gate 2 , gate 3 and gate 4 . Since several mobile phones send and receive on the same frequency, they have to do this with a time delay. Each mobile phone that is registered with a base station 5 is assigned a specific time slot by it, in which it is allowed to send and receive, and receives information about the transmission power with which it can transmit. Only within this time slot is the transmission power increased to the transmission power prescribed by base station 5 . To monitor the transmission power, the directional coupler 3 transmits a signal to the power control 4 , from which the current transmission power can be deduced and the high-frequency power amplifier 2 is controlled accordingly. According to the invention, a signal from the transmitter is monitored. It is particularly advantageous to obtain this signal from the directional coupler 3 , since no additional component is therefore required to achieve the signal. In order to avoid repercussions on the control circuit, consisting of the high-frequency power amplifier 2 , the directional coupler 3 and the power control 4 , the decoupled signal S41 is fed to an amplifier 6 and then rectified and smoothed in a rectifier 7 . With the voltage thus obtained, a switching device 8 can be controlled via a control line 9 , which connects either a first transmitting antenna 10 or a second transmitting antenna 11 via a high-frequency line 12 and the directional coupler 3 to the high-frequency power amplifier 2 . If, for example, Sendean antenna 10 is connected to the high-frequency line 12 via the switching device 8 , this transmitting antenna sends the high frequency supplied by the high-frequency power amplifier 2 . If the transmitting antenna 10 works properly, which emits the supplied high frequency, the signal S41 is low and the control voltage supplied via the control line 9 is also low, the switching device 8 does not switch accordingly. As soon as the transmitting antenna 10 can no longer radiate the supplied high frequency because it is destroyed or damaged or the connection to the high-frequency power amplifier 2 is interrupted, the signal S41 rises sharply. Thus, also increases via the control line 9 supplied to the switching device 8 control voltage and the Schaltvorrich tung 8 switches to the transmitting antenna 11 around which is thus on the Hochfre quenzleitung 12 and the directional coupler 3 with the high frequency power amplifier 2 is connected.
The device in FIG. 3 differs from the device shown in FIG. 2 in that an additional directional coupler 13 for coupling the signal S41 is arranged outside the transmitter. The operation is analogous to that described in FIG. 2, with the exception that the directional coupler 3 is used only to control the transmission power of the high-frequency power amplifier 2 , the directional coupler 13 is used to decouple the signal S41. The directional coupler 13 arranged outside the transmitter 1 can save the certification costs for already certified transmitters, which can be particularly advantageous in the case of smaller production series.
The motor vehicle 14 in FIG. 4 has transmission antennas 15 , 16 . The transmission antenna 16 on the underside of the motor vehicle is shown in the folded-out state. In normal operation of the motor vehicle 14 and the transmitter 1 , ie when the transmission antenna 15 is ready for operation, transmission is carried out via this transmission antenna and the transmission antenna 16 is in the folded state (not shown) in order to be better protected against damage. If the transmission antenna 15 is no longer ready to transmit, the system switches to the transmission antenna 16 . With the switchover signal, a folding device 17 can also be controlled via the control line 9 in addition to the switching device 8 , which can transmit the transmitting antenna 16 from the folded-in position in the unfolded state shown.
