Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electronic system for Er Collection and control of patient data in hospitals or sanatoriums, health clinics or old people's homes. As Patient data are treatment and / or care-related vante information referred to, in particular the patient Name, patient address, health insurance data, Medical history, therapy and / or medication instructions as well as received therapies and / or medications can.
An electronic system of the type mentioned is known from practice. As part of this known measure a patient has a so-called chip card. A chip card usually contains a processor, a Storage medium for information and a contact area for contacting a card reader for reading information. At least in the storage medium est personal data and information about the health insurance saved. In a hospital, this chip card is from read the card reader and become the informa in a central and / or decentralized patient house calculator taken over. The system known in this respect is Can be improved in various ways.
The disadvantage is that a patient with the chip card must wear or keep available. Especially in Hospitals and Like. However, this is at least sometimes impractical because hospital clothing is not necessarily Has pockets. In addition, the chip card is used by patients often not carried anyway because the chip card is out of patience does not fulfill any special useful functions. Finally, it is disadvantageous that the reading in the way the electrical contact is made, sometimes Problems due to contact oxidation can occur.
In contrast, the invention is the technical problem based, an electronic system for recording and con troll of patient data to indicate which particular is easy to use and reliable.
The invention teaches to solve this technical problem an electronic system for the acquisition and control of Patient data in hospitals, sanatoriums, spa clinics and / or old people's homes with personal transponders and with at least one transponder interrogation device, each transponder with at least one individual Ending identification code can be loaded, the Transponder interrogation device with a central or decentralized hospital computer is connectable and being in patient data can be stored in the hospital computer and an identification code can be assigned. On Transponder is an electronic device with a Receiving part and a transmitting part and a Speicherele ment for information. On a received from the Transponder interrogation device emitted interrogation signal the transmitter is activated in the transponder, the information contained in the storage element or at least It is part of this information, via the transmitter part Transponder interrogation device is broadcast. The Transponder interrogation device also contains a Transmitter part and a receiving part, the transmitter part and Receiving part with a control unit and a memory element are connected. On an automatic or manual operation of the transponder interrogation device detects the transmitter part of an interrogation signal to the transponder out. The response signal sent by the transponder is from the receiving part of the transponder interrogation received, demodulated and with respect to the Response signal transmitted information in the control unit evaluated. According to the response received signals can be checked in the control unit of the transponder device one or more control signals are generated. Such control signals can represent Informa tion on a display device or control of device functions. A transponder can own independent power supply. But it is the same possible that a transponder without independent Stromver supply works. In this case, transponders and Transponder interrogators designed so that the transponder interrogation device in the course of the interrogation nals also required to operate the transponder energy is also transferred. The interrogation signal can ak all transponders in the transmission range tivieren, but it is also possible that the query signal by means of a transmitted identification code only activated the transponder in which that identi fiction code is stored. Such transponders will be referred to as selective addressable. As individualized The identification code is a character or number follow designated, which, at least in the context of a individual electronic system according to the invention, le only used once, i. e. only in one Transponders of a plurality of transponders in a system is saved. In this respect, each transponder has one electronic system an independent identity. On The central hospital computer is, for example, a server within the framework of a computer network. A decentralized patient Hausrechner is a non-networked computer, among which also, for example, comparatively simple handheld devices with, for example, a display device. The Personal expression means that the transponder in usually worn on or in a patient's body.
The invention uses the knowledge that transponders one can be made structurally small and others no electrical contact for reading the Identification codes and / or other information need. Therefore, a transponder, for example similar to a wristwatch and with a Wristband or the like directly on a patient's body with be performed. The advantage here is that in one Hospital or the like. A patient in the admission with one Transponder can be equipped and this always carries with him. In this respect, it can initially be avoided that doubts arise about the identity of a patient due to forgetfulness, negligence or the like. With By means of a transponder interrogation device, the IDs a patient's health at any time and on everyone Location of the hospital to be checked. This is it for example possible, mobile transponder interrogation provisions to be provided, which in the case of a decentralized Display information requested by the hospital computer or ver wirelessly with a central hospital computer if necessary are bound. As a result, the patient can be anywhere house, especially at each therapy place Hospital not only immediately identifies a patient ten can be determined, but also at the same time all relevant stored in the hospital computer Patient data assigned to the patient and on a type pointing device are shown. This will ins particular mix-ups in therapy measures reliable avoided. When using selective adressable Incidentally, it is also possible for transponders to close patients localize when in predetermined hospital areas each with its own stationary transponder interrogation facility are set up, which are at the same time the identifica emit interrogation signal containing tion code, and if in which to all stationary transponder interrogation devices connected central hospital computer one by one of the stationary transponder interrogation devices Response signal assigned to the relevant hospital area is not.
An electronic system according to the invention can be educate or expand different ways, whereby an integral identification and access control system for a hospital and the like can arise.
For example, different control areas of the Provide hospital with access control facilities be, with the access control devices in the one aisle area each with a transponder interrogator device are provided, the access control device to issue a release signal in accordance with a ver same as a queried identification code with a in the transponder interrogation facility or the hospital access authorization codes stored on the computer is set up. As control areas are spatial Areas of a hospital designated to which not any person has access. Relevant to patients Control areas are, for example, X-ray rooms, Opera tion rooms, therapy rooms, file rooms etc. As a control However, areas can also be set up in hospital rooms be, which prevents the hospital rooms from unauthorized access Third parties are secured. It goes without saying that Hospital staff have access rights what should be done by means of a parallel working Per personal identification codes (if applicable, according to personnel function staggered or ordered) is possible. In practice radio the invention further developed as follows. A patient wants to gain access to a control area he leads the transponder close to a marki first field of a transponder interrogation device in the Entrance area. The transponder interrogator asks then the identification code of the patient (or the just if staff equipped with a transponder) from Transponder and compares this identification code with one in the transponder interrogation device or Hospital access authorization code stored. If there is a match, immediately or after data transfer mation, an enable signal from the transponder interrogation device to a unit, which the Permits access to the relevant control area. This In practice, an unit is made from an electromechanical or electropneumatic actuation of locking and / or Locking elements exist. Is the transponder off interrogation device of the access control device with the Hospital computer connected, so can in the hospital an assignment of patient data is made and a Release signal generated according to the patient data or be denied. For example, it is possible that a patient who according to the patient data Is not swimmer, no admission to a hospital egg gene pool.
In a further addition to the invention, it is preferred if the electronic system has a number of lockable Security container (SB) with one SB each Transponder interrogation device, wherein in each of the Self-service transponder interrogation devices an individualized SB access authorization code is stored, the SB transponder interrogator an opening signal for the security container according to a comparison a requested identification code with the SB- Access authorization code generated and only one at a time Self-service access code to access a single one specific security container. As sure Safety containers are in particular safes that can be locked Wardrobes u. Like. In modern sick people houses, sanatoriums, health clinics or old people's homes safes regularly set up in the patient rooms, thus allowing patients to protect their valuables from unauthorized access can secure. Traditionally, a patient receives a key with which he can use the mecha safe nisch operated. Alternatively, one with a PIN from Pa programmable lock can be provided. First however, requires an elaborate one in a hospital Key management. The latter is already overwhelmed in the Programming many patients. In addition, this does not exist inconsiderable risk that a patient will use the safe accidentally takes the key home or ver profiled. The PIN can be forgotten. In these cases a vault lock is elaborately drilled with the result high costs for the renewal of the safe lock. In addition a patient immediately following does not have one Security option until a new safe lock is inserted is building. With an electronic system according to the invention In contrast, advantages are also achieved in this respect. With the individualized SB access authorization code is an unambiguous assignment to the also indi vidualizing identification code possible. With others Expressed in words, a patient can use that from him carried transponder his safe and only this open nen. The self-service transponder interrogation device can be if necessary with retrofitting a safe lock electromechanical actuation, relatively simple on one Retrofit security container. In particular, there is none Central networking of the self-service transponder interrogation device required. The patient opens it by the patient entering the SB transponder query direction by pressing a button, for example activated and then or at the same time the transponder in the proximity (typically less than 50 cm, usually in area less than 3 cm) of the self-service transponder interrogation device brings. If the codes match sufficiently, opens the security container automatically. In this respect lies particularly easy operation because the patient is a always carries the transponder with him and others does not have to memorize PIN or the like. When a Transponder is lost, so it can be done without difficulty another transponder by programming with the suitable individualized identification code be tatted. Because in the simplest case, the Id exists tification code at least in part from information with the spatial patient accommodation, for example the room number. It is also the full identification code usually stored in the hospital computer. It emp In this respect, the self-service access authorization code is also missing at least in part from details of the spatial arrangement of the security container.
In the embodiment of the invention with closable Security containers are further embodiments in the Detail possible. So it is possible to use the identification code in an initialization step in the transponder of the Programming patients. This "teaching" takes place for example, in that inside the security area an initialization button is arranged, which is pressed while the transponder is stopped becomes. The identification code becomes a transponder transferred and stored in this. This makes it possible also to execute the identification code as a change code, which, for example, changes with every actuation of the Ini tialization button changes; systematically or randomly controlled by the generator. In this embodiment, is from Advantage of abuse by hospital staff or the like is greatly reduced. Basically, one should Patient exits the security area when leaving the facility Open the relationship and leave the transponder behind. In the event of a loss or in the event that a patient Transponder accidentally takes home and that safe previously sealed container can be provided be that with a master transponder the security container opened and then a regular one Transponder is "taught". The master transponder via typically averages a master identification code, on which specific or all security containers to open.
A preferred electronic system according to the invention is formed by the transponder and / or the Transponder interrogation facilities and / or the hospital computer and / or mobile display devices (with a HH transponder interrogation devices) in a storage unit ment in addition to the identification code and / or if necessary Access authorization code further data, such as patient names, Address, patient numbers, health insurance data, medical history data, therapy / medication instructions and data performed therapies and / or medications contains. HH transponder interrogation device denotes one Query device as part of a mobile display device tung ("hand held"). In this embodiment, too anytime, anywhere in the hospital Hospital-relevant information for the hospital staff be made available to employees.
In particular, it is preferred if in the transponder Identification code can be deleted or tran in a lock code is malleable if within a given time span no query of the transponder by means of a Any transponder interrogation facility of the hospital Is done. In this embodiment, all are omitted Access rights for a transponder if this is not used within the specified period has been. If a transponder is lost or provided day out of the hospital, a person can the transponder to a later one, outside of the front given time for access in Control areas or to access security containers nisse wants to get no access authorization. As a result, it is not necessary to get lost Tracing transponders in a complex way to To avoid abuse. The specified period of time can according to the practice of the hospital, sanatorium, the Kurklinik or the old people's home can be determined. Because in the operation of the facility concerned is under the use of the electronic system with a certain Regularity of each transponder can be queried. So is it is unlikely to occur over a period of several Days not a single request to a transponder leads. It is also within the framework of these measures possible to continue the hospital computer form that after exceeding the predetermined period without interrogating a transponder the transponder-related alarm signal is generated and / or a selective query signal as a search function is sent out. Then, if necessary, search measures according to the patient or transponder in question be initiated.
Es zeigen:In the simplest case, the identification code and the (SB) access authorization code identical. In detail the identification code can at least partially change be selcode. It is then understood that the Access authorization codes in a corresponding manner synchronously have to change. This can be done, for example, with the help of precisely running system clocks, if necessary with a Realize deviation window, without further notice. Here is then the change code part, for example the (not not corresponding to the time) system time. The deviation window allows a maximum deviation between the internal system clocks of the various compos components of the electronic system. It can be provided be that when a predetermined deviation of the internal system clocks of various components an auto matic synchronization in the course of a query leads. For the rest, it is under the various Expansion stages according to the invention of particular advantage that for different functions of the system always for everyone Functions uniform identification code is used. In the following, the invention is based on only one Embodiment showing drawings he closer purifies. Show it:

Fig. 3 shows the subject of Fig. 1 in an expansion stage with integrated security containers.
In Fig. 1 can be seen a patient 8, which carries on a bracelet transponder 1. At least one individualizing identification code is stored in the bracelet. Optionally, additional patient data are stored in the transponder 1 , as described in the general part of the description.
In addition to the transponder 1, the system according to the invention comprises a central or decentralized hospital computer 3 , 4 , which are provided with transponder interrogation devices 2 . In the hospital computer 3 , 4 , the patient data, depending on the embodiment, is permanently stored (central computer 3 ) or can be stored after querying a transponder 1 (decentralized computer 4 , in the exemplary embodiment a "hand held" device). The connection between transponder interrogation device 2 and hospital computer 3 , 4 can be made, for example, via an RS232 interface. It is then understood that a corresponding preparation of the information or data is carried out in the transponder interrogation device 2 . A hospital computer 3 , 4 generally has a display device 9 by means of which the patient data can be displayed. For this purpose, an assignment between patient data and identification code takes place in the hospital computer 3 , 4 .
A control area door 10 with a door lock 11 can be seen in FIG. 2. The door lock 11 at least comprises an electromechanically actuable closing element with a control circuit and a transponder interrogation device 2 connected to the control circuit as part of an access control device 5 . An access authorization code is stored in the transponder interrogation device 2 . In order to obtain passage through the control area door 10 , a patient actuates a device (button or the like), whereby the transponder query device 2 is activated and the identification code is queried. Alternatively, low-power sensor electronics can be set up, which detects the approach of a transponder 2 and activates the transponder interrogation device 2 (the same is possible with the self-service transponder interrogation devices). If the access control devices 5 of a hospital are networked, the transponder interrogation devices 2 can also be permanently activated. In FIG. 2, a cross-linking is schematically represented by the representation of the hospital computer 3.
In the FIG. 3 can be seen next to the patient 1 with transponder 2 a security container 6, namely a safe, which is located in the sickroom. The security container 6 has an electromechanical Tre lock lock 12 , in which a self-service transponder device 7 is integrated. There is no connection to the hospital computer 3 , 4 . The power supply comes from the mains or by means of a battery. The safe lock 12 also has a button 13 , by means of which the self-service transponder interrogation device 7 is activated. After activation, a locking element of the safe lock 12 by the self-service transponder interrogation device 7 is operated in an unlocking manner when the response signal contains an identification code which corresponds sufficiently with an self-service access authorization code stored in the transponder interrogation device 7 .
