Description

The invention relates to a holder for a breath mask, such as in the context of a CPAP Thera pie for the treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders Can find application.

As part of a CPAP therapy, ei pneumatic splinting of the upper respiratory tract Patient breathing gas below a predetermined excess pressure applied through a mask. This mask is more common as a seal on the nose and / or mouth area of the Patient put on. The correct fixation of the mask usually takes place around the back of the head Belt sections led around the area of a patient.

These belt sections can in turn be hooked or Locking devices are coupled with the breathing mask. By loosening the connection between the webbing arrangement and the mask, it is possible to remove the mask.

As in the main application DE 199 47 722.1 wrote, there is often the problem that the mask ent is not lashed too tightly or too weakly, in particular especially if this was only accepted for a short time. here by it comes along with a significant impairment the tightness of the mask also has an adverse effect comfort. A mask strapped too tight behind often leaves a comparatively clearly visible and painful impression, possibly also sores on the face of the patient.

The invention has for its object a stop creating a breathing mask that a patient allows easy removal of the mask and by which a careful adjustment of the tension of the Webbing arrangement after a temporary decrease the breathing mask quickly and without special attention can be reached again in a reliable manner.

This object is achieved by a stop solved for a breathing mask, the one in the attached Condition of the belt around the back of the head of a patient band arrangement and a coupling device for cop Has pelung with a breathing mask, a belt tab cut the webbing arrangement through an eyelet element is carried out and a draft limit band pre see that is coupled to the eyelet element and that the passage length of the belt section through the eyelet ment limited.

This makes it possible in an advantageous manner Sufficiently loosen the webbing arrangement before this is separated from the breathing mask. This enables the Webbing arrangement made of a comparatively rigid Ge train weaving material. When putting on the The belt device can quickly and without breathing mask special attention again in the desired Tension can be brought up by the by the Belt section passed through the eyelet element only around a predetermined distance through the eyelet element can be pulled, this predetermined Route directly through the length of the draft limit tongue band is set.

The arrangement made so that the carefully to a predetermined mask pressure set length of the webbing device without special Attention can be repeatedly achieved.

A particularly robust and under manufacturing technology Considerations inexpensive to manufacture embodiment the invention is given in that the Durchzugbe border band and through the eyelet element led webbing section adjustable coupled are. Such adjustability can, for example can be achieved by providing a belt eyelet element in front of this is seen that can be moved on the untightened belt is definable. This eyelet element can, for example, two Have through openings through which the correspond appropriate webbing passed through the eyelet section runs through.

A particularly inexpensive to handle embodiment the invention is given in that the Durchzugbe border band attached directly to the eyelet element is. This eyelet element is in turn advantageous in the coupling device for coupling the belt band arrangement on the breathing mask, integrated.

The length of the draft limit band is acc. a particularly preferred embodiment of the Erfin dung in the range of 50-80 mm. The width of the swipe Limiting band is preferably in the range of 12-30 mm. According to a particularly preferred embodiment Form of the invention can several such through tension limiting band arrangements on the holder for a breathing mask may be provided. Especially through the Arrangement of appropriate draft control bands on both sides of the breathing mask it becomes possible to Tension around the back of the patient's head to make the belt section passed symmetrically, without the breathing mask slipping.

The draft limit band is preferably made of egg nem formed comparatively rigid tape material and for example via a loop section on the eyelets element attached.

In Fig. 3 a particularly preferred embodiment of a headgear assembly is shown, as can be used in particular as part of a CPAP therapy for fixing a breathing mask. The coupling of the headgear structure shown here to the breathing mask takes place, as in the previous embodiments, via engagement structures 7 , which are attached to corresponding belt sections 1 . In the illustrated embodiment, the headgear assembly 2 has pull-through limit straps 4 , which are attached here to the right upper webbing section 1 , or to the right lower webbing section 1 . The position of the engagement structures 7 is in each case adjustable by the eyelet element 5 . Otherwise, the corresponding Gurtbandab section through Velcro elements 3 on a corresponding counter surface of the headgear assembly who set the. It is also possible to provide in addition to the here grenzungsbänder just to the right of the belt strap headband arrangement before seen drafts limiting bands 4 corresponding well to the left belt strap Durchzugsbe fourth

The headgear assembly according to the invention can can be applied as follows, for example.

To fix a breathing mask in the face area of a patient, the two left engagement structures 7 of the belt arrangement are first fixed to corresponding counter sections of the breathing mask. The breathing mask is then put on and the headgear arrangement is led around the back of the patient's head. The right engagement structures 7 are now brought into engagement with the breathing mask or a corresponding connecting member.

Then b to the webbing 1 is pulled until the tether pulling the further pulling movement of the strap supporting limited by the loop element 2, the engagement structure. Now the headband arrangement can be pressed onto the Velcro fastener element 3 .

Provided that in this case the tension in the corresponding webbing needs to be corrected, the engagement structure is 7 again removed from the breathing mask and the eye element 5 on the webbing 1 b verscho ben. By moving the eyelet 5 to the Velcro circuit 3 towards a looser setting of the headband tension is achieved. By moving the eyelet element 5 in a direction away from the Velcro fastener element 3 , the effective length of the respective webbing section is shortened. The according to the positioning of the eyelet element 5 on the webbing section 1 b fixed webbing tension is achieved repeatedly with each tightening of the webbing without requiring special attention.

The above with reference to the top strap The procedure described for the band arrangement applies analogously also for the lower webbing arrangement.

It is also possible to attach the quick-release structure ( 4 , 5 , 7 ) described to all belt straps.
