The invention relates to a lighting device for Transmitted light on a stereo microscope with only one lamp.
To generate the two separate beam paths, which jointly illuminate the same object field but separately illuminate the entry pupils of the objectives two mirrors placed at an angle to each other are then used. Both mirrors become common lit by the lamp. The angle that the mirrors with each other are determined by the convergence angle of the stereo system. Each mirror in itself is for the illumination responsible for part of the stereo system. The prerequisite for a good stereo image is once, that both entrance pupils are illuminated with the same overall brightness, and on the other hand that the brightness distribution over the individual entrance pupil is uniform and, thirdly, that the image field is evenly illuminated. The first condition can be met by lighting with only one lamp. The second and the third cannot generally be implemented for structural reasons, namely the mutually facing, inner areas of the two entrance pupils mostly less lit, and in the left and right image fields the right and left image edges are relative faint. The latter appears to the viewer of the Stereo image as a very annoying flicker on the right and left Edge of the picture, The reason for the uneven Aueleuoh * ·

Man kann die Spiegel bestenfalls symmetrisch im "Winkel gegeneinander stellen und muß dann den Verlust der inneren Bfileuchtungsstrahlen hinnehmen.processing of the entrance pupil lies in the fact that it is at a given Stereo lens system, i.e. the angle of convergence that The size and distance of the entrance pupils from one another and from the object, the two illuminating mirrors fail to be arranged with full illumination of the associated lens without partially covering the inner surface parts. At best, the mirrors can be placed symmetrically at an angle to one another, and then the loss of the inner one must be avoided Accept rays of illumination.
The object of the present invention is to create a mirror arrangement that provides uniform illumination of both Entry pupils of the stereo lens allowed "
According to the invention, this is achieved through the use of an angle mirror reached, the angle of which is so large that the axial directions of the two lighting partial bundles formed with the optical axes of the stereo lenses coincide, wherein the corner mirror consists of a grained and mirrored surface in the form of two planes and the vertex of the angle is rounded.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown: schematically and in perspective. The rays emanating from the lamp 3 form, behind the lens system h, which consists of a collector with a negative lens connected in front, a bundle of rays 30 which illuminates the corner mirror 5. This is where the two sub-bundles 10 and 20 arise, which intersect in the object plane 6 and the field line 7 attached there and which each illuminate one of the lenses of the stereo system, the optical axes 1 and 2 of which coincide with the alignment of the lighting sub-bundles 10 and 20 .

'It is important that the overlap area of the two partial bundles is due to the special design of the winter mirror now light is reflected in more than one direction, but the directions of the sub-bundles 10 and 20 are clear are preferred. The graining of the mirror surface and the soft sagging in the overlap area of the Partial bundles together give the desired effect of uniform Illumination of both entrance pupils of the stereo system.
