Claims (12)

1. Vorrichtung zur Befeuchtung von Papier mit einem Gehäuse (1, 2), einem Tank (3) zur Aufnahme eines Flüssigkeitsvorrats und einer Aufnahmeeinrichtung zur Aufnahme eines Papiervorrats, vorzugsweise in Form einer Papierrolle (13), wobei mindestens ein Übertragungselement zur Übertragung von Flüssigkeit aus dem Tank auf einen an dem Übertragungselement entlanggeführten Abschnitt einer Papierbahn (4) vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Einrichtung vorgesehen ist, durch welche der Abstand des über die Oberfläche des Übertragungselementes geführten Abschnittes der Papierbahn (4) zwischen einer engen Berührung mit dem Über­ tragungselement und einem lichten Abstand zu diesem einstellbar ist, und daß das Übertragungselement eine im wesentlichen glatte Oberfläche aufweist und in einer Tanköffnung abgedichtet und in Kontakt mit der zu übertragenden Flüssigkeit drehbar geführt ist.1.
