Bei musikalischen Vorführungen wird die Aufmerksamkeit des einzelnen Musikers sehr in Anspruch genommen, weil er außer auf sein Instrument und seine Noten noch auf den Taktstock des Dirigenten achten muß. Um einerseits diese Anstrengung dem Spielenden zu erleichtern und andererseits -dem Dirigenten zu ermögliqhen, auch andere Zeichen als den Takt den Musikern mit dem Taktstock geben zu können, wird letzterer mit Lichtsignalen versehen, die vom Musiker leicht gesehen werden, auch ohne daß er beständig den Dirigenten anschaut.In the case of musical performances, the individual musician's attention becomes great occupied because he is still on except on his instrument and his notes must pay attention to the conductor's baton.
