Abstract

Gymnastics mat, or mat for use in swimming pools, comprises an outer covering of polyurethane elastomer injection moulded foam, contg. a filling of soft polyurethane foam. The outer surfaces of the outer covering may be provided with grooves or other rough surface to provide slip resistance, and the covering may also be waterproof and heat-insulating, particularly for use in swimming pools.
