Abstract

The method of applying a sealing label across the open mouth of a filled bag, includes the use of four filling nozzles which stretch open the mouth of the bag, holding it up during filling, then are rotated to allow the bag to sink onto a support. Two nozzles are longer than the other pair, and remain in engagement with the mouth of the bag, and stretch it while a folded label is lowered between them, and pressed against the sides of the open mouth, thus sealing the filled bag. The label has a cut-out each end of its fold line, to clear the two nozzles. The label is deep enough to seal the bag below the level of the nozzles.

Das manuelle Ausrichten ist vor allem bei dünnen Beutelmaterialien eine zeitraubende Arbeit.
