Abstract

The running sole of a sports shoe, specially for racing, is made of an outer frame and a parallel inner frame, made of a very hard plastic, for example polyamide. The clearance between the frames is bridged over by seven bosses, made of the same hard plastic, carrying in the centre a threaded metal bush, embedded in it. The usual spikes can be screwed into the latter. The webs of the frames are fitted on both sides and inside with prismatic or wedge-shaped gripping bosses.
