Eine neuartige Weste zum Kühlen von Körperzonen, vor­ nehmlich im Nacken- und Brustbereich, die unter Schutz­ anzügen getragen wird, in denen der Träger zeitweise unter großer Wärmebelastung steht und durch Schwitzen eine Behinderung erfährt, die die Aufgabe des eigentlichen Schutzanzuges stark beeinträchtigt, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, daß in dem Bereich der Kühlzonen Peltier- Elemente angeordnet sind derart, daß sie mit einer Strom­ quelle, die in die Weste integriert ist, versorgt werden derart, daß die kälteausstrahlende Seite der Peltier-Elemente zum Körper hin angebracht ist und die gegenüberliegende wärmeausstrahlende Seite mit einer Isolierschicht versehen ist, die über eine gewisse Zeit der Anwendung der Weste die Wärmeenergie speichern kann und damit die Abstrahlung in den Schutzanzug stark hemmt.1.
