Description
Process for the preparation of a double salt of lycerin phosphoric acid and lactic acid. The synthetically obtained salts of glycerol phosphoric acid are a mixture of different isomers. This _ inconsistency manifests itself in the case of lime glycerolphosphate that synthetic products do not have any have certain solubility, but, depending on the one or the other isomer prevail, are more or less easily soluble in water. In practice it is the cheapest Solution ratio r: 3o at r5 ° C, but this is rarely achieved. Mostly solves the salt is only in the ratio z: 50 or to a lesser extent at r5 ° C. The solubility decreases with increasing temperature. This applies to all calcium salts of glycerol phosphoric acid. A solution saturated at 15 ° C separates the salt when heated.
The iron salts of the are even less soluble than the calcium salts Glycerine phosphoric acid, especially the iron oxide salts.
It has now been found that lime glycerolphosphate and lactic acid Iron or, conversely, glycerol phosphoric iron and lactic acid lime or the Components of these salts form a compound that can be found in water in any proportion solves. Even when cooked, the solutions do not release iron that is glycerol-phosphoric nor the lime salt. Example. 36o parts of lactic acid of 75 percent are in little dissolved in warm water. 367.5 parts of glycerol phosphoric acid are added to the warm solution Lime added while stirring. The mixture is heated and stirred until a clear solution originated. Then you add as much freshly felled, well-washed things to the solution and pressed iron hydroxide, equivalent to 56 parts of iron.
The iron hydroxide gradually dissolves to a dark brown-red color Liquid on. If the solution is perfectly clear with further heating and stirring then the formation of the double salt has taken place.
The solid double salt can be obtained by evaporating the solution. at a o ° excess temperature can be obtained.
