Abstract
Description
Verfahren und Anlage zur chemischen Reinigung von WasserProcess and system for chemical purification of water
The present invention relates to a method and a system for chemical purification of water, with contaminated water, usually after a certain pre-treatment, e.g. desludging and biological treatment Precipitant added, and the water then a flocculation basin to form supplied by chemical precipitation and flake and from there closed with flake formed A sedimentation basin is passed on, where the flake is separated by gravity is separated from the water before the purified water is released from the basin will.
Verunreinigtes Wasser, z.B. Contaminated water, e.g. surface water or sewage, can the impurities can be cleaned by adding precipitants, e.g. metal salts Fall out of the water and form aggregates to which further impurities are adsorbed will. This process is known as chemical precipitation or coagulation. The mentioned Aggregates are usually broken up into larger particles by so-called flocculation. This flake can then be removed from the water by gravitation to be separated.
Felling and flaking is usually done in a free volume of water in a flocculation basin with slow stirring. This process is very delicate and flakes that are too small are often formed, or flakes that are large, but have low density and strength. This results in the Gravitationsabscneidlin Problems in the subsequent sedimentation basin, as flake and water form the basin leaves.
The present invention aims to achieve the above Disadvantages of chemical cleaning of water using flocculation basins and then Eliminate settling basins.
The invention is characterized in that the water in the Flockungsbecke.n is caused to flow through a bed of granular material and thereby a Form high density flakes that settle more easily and settle in the sedimentation tank can be separated more easily than flakes in a free volume of water in the flocculation basin is formed.
The invention enables the flake to be deposited in the settling tank with a higher surface load than is possible with flake, which is possible with conventional Flocculation, i.e. slow agitation in a free volume of water, is obtained. In the method according to the invention, the flake sinks quickly in the settling tank, the thus a much higher, often more than twice the normal load endures.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend genauer beschrieben. The invention is described in more detail below.
In a preferred procedure according to the invention, contaminated Water to which precipitating agent in the form of chemicals has been added at the bottom of one Flocculation basin initiated with granular material, preferably sand / gravel with a grain size distribution in the range 0.5-5 mm. The grains in bed are distributed in such a way that the grains farthest down have a larger diameter, approx. 5 mm, while the grains furthest at the top have a diameter of approx. 0.5 mm to have. The water in the flocculation basin has an upward current and is located there in constant contact with the grains of the bed, and is over the bed surface deducted. The speed the water through the bed is higher than the speed for the aggregates that are formed in the bed when the Impurities in the water come into contact with the grains in the bed and with each other. When the bed is stationary, i.e. not fluidized, these aggregates remain in bed until the voids between the grains in the bed no longer store aggregates can. These then follow up with the water out of bed. When increasing the speed of the water through the bed beyond given values begins fluidize the bed. The aggregates then flow at a certain speed up through the bed and out of it with the water. This departure of aggregates is therefore primarily dependent on the speed of the water through the bed controlled.
Impurities precipitated in a granular bed according to the invention and coagulate, get better settling properties than flake, which through Stirring is established in a free volume of water. Contributing factors to this include the higher velocity gradient in a granular bed and its occurrence of more collisions per unit of time between precipitant particles and contaminant particles in the many small channels of the grainy bed. Also happen in the grainy bed Coagulation and aggregate build-up under pressure, the size of which depends on the shape and density the grains, the degree of fluidization and the amount and type of "sludge" in the bed is determined. The degree of fluidization can be easily adjusted with the speed regulate the water so that either no part of the bed, part of it or the whole bed is fluidized. The flocculation basin according to the invention is thus the technique is based on converting impurities into compact aggregates in a granular bed to precipitate and coagulate at high density, which is then placed in a settling tank a higher surface loading can be deposited, as it is possible with flake, which is achieved by slowly stirring in a free volume of water is formed in a conventional flocculation basin.
A flocculation basin according to the invention can be used in various ways and have a number of different accessories. In its simplest Embodiment, the basin contains a bed of granular material, preferably Sand with a grain size in the range 0.5 - 5 mm. Preferably 30% of the granular material should have a grain size of 0.7 - 2 mm. The polluted water, the chemicals added is fed to the bottom of the basin and flows upwards through it the bed in which the coarsest material is furthest down and the finest is furthest is on top.
It is possible to vary the degree of pluidization in the Basin to give incoming water a pulsating flow, which is done by means of pumps or Valves with an alternately large opening can be achieved.
The flocculation basin can also be equipped with a vibrator or with air injection be provided for the purpose of interrupting vitalization of the bed. The vibrator can do it be arranged in the bed itself. In a special embodiment, the outlet from the flocculation basin in varying degrees throttled to the pressure of the water in the To raise the basin and in this way to encourage the formation of compact flakes. With the help of a flocculation basin with a conical bottom, a different Cause the flow rate upward through the bed, thereby reducing the grain distribution within wide limits while maintaining simultaneous fluidization of the whole Bed can be changed. In another embodiment of the flocculation basin according to the invention this can be a centrally located conveyor, e.g. have an ejector or a mammoth pump, with formed aggregates both in the bed can leave on the bed surface as well as via this conveyor.
