Abstract

Ozonisation and/or ionisation are known means for killing off bacilli, viruses, fungi, germs and the like. Ionisation causes additional agglomeration of aerosol particles and/or dust particles. The disadvantage of this conventional system technique resides in the facts that broken ozone channels may have disadvantageous effects on humans or animals and that arrangement in small equipment is problematical. In order to eliminate these disadvantages the invention proposes a portable clean air apparatus provided with a suction nozzle (1) followed by a coarse separating filter (2). This is followed by an ozonisation section (3) leading to a fan (4) whose blow-out side opens via an ionisation section (6) into a space (5). The space (5) is delimited by a chemisorption filter (7) with a diverse layer structure (7a, 7b, 7c). The contaminants killed off by ozonisation and/or ionisation are trapped and bound in sterile fashion in the chemisorption filter (7). <IMAGE>

Description

Zusatzpatentanmeldung zu P 36 20 168.5, datiert vom 13.06.86 mit der Be zeichnung "Chemisorptionsfilter zur Behandlung von Atem luft für allergieerkrankte Menschen".Additional patent application for P 36 20 168.5, dated 13.06.86 with the Be drawing "Chemisorption filter for the treatment of breath air for allergy sufferers ".

It is known that by ozonization and / or ionization Bacilli, viruses, fungi and germs harmless can be made.

In addition, an additional ionization Agglomeration of aerosol particles and / or dust particle is provided.

The disadvantage of this combination technique is that torn ozone traces adversely affect humans and animal can affect, and arrangement in small separating devices is not unproblematic.

For this reason, the invention proposes an application according to the attached sketch to take.

The attached sketch shows with ( 1 ) the intake manifold in a clean air box unit, with ( 2 ) a coarse filter, with ( 3 ) the ozonization section, which is connected upstream of a fan ( 4 ), whereby according to the invention, an arrangement in front of the fan intensive contacting of the ozone is produced in the fan and an ionization section ( 6 ) is additionally connected downstream of the ozonization section ( 3 ) on the outlet side of the fan in a flow-through space ( 5 ), so that agglomeration of the bacilli, germs, fungi, Viruses etc., which have previously been killed by ozonization, take place with the dust particles and, in the agglomerated (= enlarged) grain spectrum, the number of particles in the subsequent chemisorption filter ( 7 ) is sterile integrated with the greatest possible effect, the chemisorption filter according to the invention not only for Separation of sterile bacteria, fungi, viruses and dusts is designed at the same time it has to fulfill a safety function by neutralizing strands of ozone phases that have been torn through.

This is achieved according to the invention in that in the chemisorption filter package, among other known chemisorption layers such as activated carbon, soda lime, iron (II) and / or iron (III) salts and / or turf iron ore, preferably in a concentration of 80% Fe (OH) 3 , downstream of the ozonization and ionization.

According to the invention, the sequence is also the This chemisorption filter technology is arranged as follows:

  • 1) eine alkalische Chemisorptionsschicht (7 a), bestehend aus: Rasen-Eisenerz, pH-Wert 11-12, Perlite ge tränkt mit Natrium-Kaliumcarbonat, pH-Wert ebenfalls 11-12, oder Natronkalk, auch pH-Wert 11-12.1) an alkaline chemisorption layer ( 7 a ), consisting of: turf iron ore, pH 11-12, perlite soaked with sodium potassium carbonate, pH also 11-12, or soda lime, also pH 11-12 .
Hierbei können natürlich auch Eisen ammoniumsulfat-Salze Anwendung finden.2) As ( 7 b ) there follows a layer consisting of: expanded bodies, preferably expanded calcium aluminum silicate and / or perlite, impregnated with iron III / iron II salts. Iron ammonium sulfate salts can of course also be used here.
  • 3) Die Schicht (7 c) besteht aus einer neutralisierenden Schicht, vorzugsweise A-Kohle.3) The layer ( 7 c ) consists of a neutralizing layer, preferably activated carbon.

(7 b) ist in einer pH-Wert-Folge von 1-2 angesetzt, und (7 c) liegt als neutrale Schüttbettmasse vor.( 7 b ) is set in a pH value sequence of 1-2, and ( 7 c ) is a neutral bulk bed mass.

The ( 7 c ) layer is of course followed by a high-performance fine dust filter layer ( 7 d ).
