Verfahren zur Herstellung von flachen Bauteilen, wobei mit einer einen Stößel aufweisende Presse, welche eine aus einem Werkzeugoberteil und einem Werkzeugunterteil bestehende Form aufweist, ein Blech verformt wird, bei dem das Blech in die Form eingelegt und die Form durch den Stößel verschlossen wird, daß mit Hilfe von in dem Pressenrahmen geführten Keilen der Stößel verriegelt und gleichzeitig an dem zu verformenden Blech ein umlaufender Dichtring eingeformt und daß anschließend das Blech in der Form einem Hydroform-Verfahren unterworfen wird, wobei die durch den Hydroform- Arbeitsdruck am Werkzeug und der Presse wirksamen Kräfte mit Hilfe der Hydroform-Hydraulik kompensiert werden, nach Patentanmeldung P 38 40 939.9-14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Hydroform-Verfahren eine mechanische Verformung überlagert wird.1.
