Abstract

The invention concerns a device for protecting a person from high acceleration which may occur in spacecraft, in transport over rough terrain, or when undergoing laboratory tests. The apparatus consists of two rigid half shells made of plastic or light alloy. These half shells are fitted with cushions which can be inflated with compressed air. When inflated these cushions fit closely around the body of the person and restrict the flow of blood to or from the head, which the high 'g' forces would otherwise cause. The cushions may be inflated by using manual or electrically powered pumps. USE - Protection of the body against high 'g' forces.

Description

The present invention relates to a fastener means for the human body in the space wheel, also as transport, examination and treatment should be used.

With its help, the human body is complete Painless and relaxed, axially stable in everyone Bring level of space. The hard shell leaves only an expansion in the air cushion their interior in which the body is located.

This is due to the pressure of the air cushion fixed in position. The broad force exposure allows a very low pressure, the no blood flow despite stable body fixation cause disturbances or harmful tissue pressure can. Longitudinal and transverse grooves in the air cushion cushion make ventilation possible.

The room bed (RB) has set itself the task of making a reasonable, pleasant, painless fixation of the completely relaxed body possible over a long period of time. Due to the hard shell, the air pressure acting on the body surface remains stable and at the same time stabilizes the given posture in a seeming quality, even when the bed is turned in every level of the room. This property is necessary, among other things, for use in space wheels, for transport in rough terrain, over stairs, slopes, in the air and on water, for medical examinations (X-ray, computer tomogram, ultrasound, etc.) and treatments (radiation, circulatory, organ , Blood circulation and functional training, psycho training) and training for athletic bodies.

  • a) Feste (harte) Schalen (1) aus Kunststoff, Leicht metall o.
Room bed (RB) as a transport, examination, treatment couch and as a fastener for the human body for painless and completely relaxed, axially stable displacement in all levels of the room, characterized by the following features:
  • a) Solid (hard) shells ( 1 ) made of plastic, light metal or the like for holding the human body,
  • b) single-chamber or multi-chamber air cushion cushions ( 3 ) with possible air circulation through longitudinal and transverse grooves, which line the inner walls of the shell and can be inflated manually, electrically or with gas pressure via a pressure measuring device and gently fix the body in a certain position due to the low, wide-area pressure,
  • c) Head fixation takes place on the shelf ( 8 ) using a soft forehead strap and / or clamping in air cushions.
