Claims

1. Console for receiving a monitor ( 12 ) or a video system ( 12 , 14 ) and for arrangement between the front seats of a motor vehicle, with a base plate ( 16 ) which has a bottom projecting approach ( 26 ) which fits into a recess ( 28 ), in particular in a storage compartment of a center console ( 30 ) arranged between the front seats.

2. Console according to claim 1, characterized in that in the base plate ( 16 ) in the region of the extension ( 26 ) at least one opening ( 43 , 45 ) is provided.

Console according to claim 2, characterized in that a first through opening ( 43 ) for the passage of lines and a second blind hole opening ( 45 ) is provided, the bottom ( 51 ) of the blind hole opening ( 45 ) in the region of the recess ( 28 ) of the center console ( 30 ) is arranged in which it is connected to the vehicle via a screw connection ( 55 ).
