Abstract

The device consists of a gradient sensor, fitted to an area of the body, which enables it to sense the gradient of the spine. Should the gradient become undesirable, i.e. capable of causing damage, the sensor emits an acoustic or optical alarm. The gradient sensor (1), comprises a glass or plastic tube containing a conductive ball (3), which begins to roll at a specific slope and thus makes contact between two electrodes (4, 5) at the end of the path. Two contacts (6, 6') serve as connections to an evaluation circuit, comprising a comparator, an oscillator, an amplifier and a speaker. When the gradient sensor shorts out the comparator input, the oscillator and amplifier are switched on to give an alarm. USE/ADVANTAGE - Aids in preventing posture and lifting errors leading to slipped discs.

Description

Damage to the vertebrae plays a role in the medical statistics column is playing an increasingly important role. This damage is due to predominantly due to overloading of the bandschei ben attributed. Overloading the intervertebral discs is caused by mistakes in posture at work activity, but also in part for leisure activities occupations occur. The one due to spinal disc damage economic damage caused goes into the Billions.

The invention has for its object an electro African control device to indicate which no longer acceptable inclination of the spine and responds triggers an acoustic or visual warning signal. Furthermore the electronic control device should be as light as possible and be microminiaturizable so it is on the body can be carried easily by a person. This on gift is according to the invention by an electronic con Trollgerät solved with the features of claim 1.

The invention is based on an embodiment example explained.

Fig. 1 shows a device that can perform the function of an inclination sensor according to the invention. The inclination sensor 1 of FIG. 1 consists of a glass or plastic tube 2 with z. B. a conductive ball 3 , which begins to roll with a corresponding inclination of the inclination sensor 1 and thereby makes contact between two conductive electrodes 4 and 5 delimiting the taxiway. At the inclination sensor 1 of FIG. 1 are mounted 6 and 6 'contacts associated with the electrodes 4 and 5 in the interior of the housing 2 in electrically conductive connection.

Fig. 2 shows the inclination sensor 1 together with evaluation. 7 The evaluation electronics 7 has a comparator 8 , an oscillator 9 and a sound amplifier 10 . The operating voltage lies between points III and IV of the evaluation electronics. Between the point III and ground (IV) a voltage divider is connected, which consists of the resistors 11 and 12 . The point I of the evaluation electronics is connected to the inclination sensor 1 , to the one input of the comparator 8 and to the point III (operating voltage) via a resistor 13 . The other input of the comparator 8 is connected to the connection point of the resistors 11 and 12 of the voltage divider. When the inclination sensor 1 responds, point I of the evaluation electronics is pulled to ground (IV) via the short-circuited inclination sensor 1 . The comparator 8 recognizes this since its one input is connected to the point I. When the inclination sensor 1 responds, the comparator 8 switches on the oscillator 9 and the downstream sound amplifier 10 . The sound amplifier 10 delivers the required signal to the sound converter 14 via point II.
