Abstract

The bed is for patients who are unable to turn themselves about the longitudinal axis due to their physical infirmity. The bed is mounted on a frame and can be rotated relative to the frame about a longitudinal axis (1) which passes through the centre of gravity of the patient's body. This type of bed prevents any harm being suffered by the patient as a result of lying in the same position for too long a time. The rotation of the bed is operated automatically. USE - Rotatable bed for elderly and infirm patients.

Description

This works for the internal organs and the human brain Pulling gravity during the day on Earth area mainly in the direction of the foot parallel to the human longitudinal axis. When lying down, it works at right angles to it. Here it causes one-sided damage during nighttime sleep tensile loads in one direction. You will be almost unwilling natural rolling movements around the longitudinal axis of the lying person balanced by himself. This process also takes place during a deep sleep. With illnesses and older age there is an extended couch times when gravity is no longer parallel to the long axis of the body can pull in the direction of the foot. This creates a number of additional diseases such as water lung and thereby pneumonia and other respiratory disorders. Sore skin areas and one-sided wall loads of the Form stomach in case of excessive acidification of the contents Dangers when lying down for a long time.

To all of these harmful To prevent influences, the following invention of Rolling bed.

Without using your own strength, the person lying should be rotated and rolled around their central longitudinal axis 1 automatically, Fig. 1. This is done by rotating the mattress pads in the dry and on the other hand by belt holders and permanent magnets with fields in the liquid tank. It is important that the person lying down is turned as precisely as possible about its central longitudinal axis 1 , FIGS. 1 to 10, both in the dry and in the liquid tank. In particular in the case of dry rolling, an undesired side slip of the body of the person lying down can be avoided. Referring to FIG. 3, the lying person is resting on his back. The toes 2 point upwards. Before the automatic rolling movement of the mattress pads to the left, the left pad 3 is first automatically angled, Fig. 4, 3. Then the mattress pads, Fig. 5, 4 turn to the left, the same rotation can also be done to the right . An endless control of the rotational movements is guaranteed as a continuous reverse rotation according to FIG. 6, arrows 5 . The lying person is able to initiate the reverse rotation in the direction of the arrows 5 , FIG. 6, by pressing a button, and to stop in any angular position. Different speeds should be set by the person lying down. The shortest rotation from about 0 ° to 180 ° or up to 210 ° takes 4-6 seconds. When the program-controlled automatic rolling system is switched on, the time required for 180 ° to 210 ° rolling can alternatively be distributed over 6 s, 30 s, 60 s, 15 min, 30, 120, 150 or even 180 min. It is therefore possible for older and sick people to set the automatic rolling system at night for their bedtime according to their individual needs.

Liquid lying is useful for people who are lying down and who are ill with their spine, hip joints, thigh bones, knee joints or other leg bones. This means that almost a condition of weightlessness occurs for the lying human body, Fig. 7 and 8, the specific gravity of the liquid tank is to be variable. According to the invention, the degree of buoyancy can be regulated individually by the liquid density depending on the body weight of the patient, FIGS. 7 and 8. The body of the person lying on the one hand should not rest on the bottom of the water tank. On the other hand, no parts of the body should protrude from the liquid so that there are no colds. The head is of course excluded for breathing. The patient can either be poorly dressed, or be allowed to wear tight-fitting swimwear. An armpit securing device as a rib cage holder, made of flexible rubber, Fig. 9, 6, with headrest Fig. 9, 7, ensures that the patient does not get under the liquid surface with the mouth and nose even when asleep. At the same time is at the chest bracket 6, the torsion drive 8 for the Wälzautomatik, Fig. 9. In addition, a magnetic field generating Wälzantrieb be applied, Fig. 10. A permanent magnet 9 attached to the belt of a chest support, follows the rotary movements of the field generating device 10, Fig. 10. The temperature of the liquid in the tank of the roller bed should be adjustable from 40 ° Celsius downwards.
