Abstract

The elastic woven band has a surface effecting the adhesion. The surface consists of either cling yarns which are worked into the elastic band (1) directly in sections or of adhesive tape pieces (2) mounted singly at short distances across the direction of the elastic band. The mounting is pref. effected via a wash-resistant layer of melt adhesive. ADVANTAGE - The invention provides an alternative to elastic bands that have been integrated into a garment or are drawn in into hems.

Die durch die Erfindung erreichten Vorteile sind vor allem darin zu sehen, daß der Verwendung von Gummigewebeband dort eine Chance gegeben wird, wo der Ersatz von fest eingear beiteten ausgeleierten Gummibändern entweder nicht oder nur unter unverhältnismäßig hohen Kosten möglich ist. Dabei beläßt insbesondere der streifenweise Auftrag der die Haf tung bewirkenden Schicht dem zu verwendenden Gummigewebe band abschnittsweise noch so viel Zugkraft, daß die er wünschte Gummizugwirkung ausreicht. Vor allem dort, wo das ansonsten bis auf den Gummizug noch intakte Kleidungsstück in seiner Funktion erhalten bleiben kann oder wo, wie z.
