Description
Continuous process for the production of dry flakes from Desugarized vegetable pulp According to the procedure of the patent 813 139 is made a porridge from sugary plants (sugar beet, sugar cane, etc.) and this by means of special centrifuges or suction suction filters in a continuous process separated in several stages (three to four stages) from juice and pulp, so that the The filtrate (raw juice) from the first stage runs off and the desugarized sieve residues Continuously cleared from the third or fourth stage and sent to the beet supplier can be returned as valuable fodder.
The advantages of this process compared to the previous diffusion process are described in patent specification 813 139.
According to the invention, the method can be continued in that the continuously cleared sieve residues are brought into shape so that they-in the movement dried and stored can be what without this Possibility of large drought losses due to being rejected by the industry.
This informing is done by making press cake, that is, by the fact that the sugary pulp in the same operation through suitable apparatus, eg. B. by means of special centrifuges as the first stage and rotating suction press filters as the second to fourth stage in a parallel or one behind the other arrangement as well as by hot water circulating blankets and the brand substance (sieve residues) is pressed so strongly in a continuous operation, without any special effort, that a press cake is formed on the filter medium which can be lifted off with the aid of compressed air and a cake collector and crushed (cut) using suitable equipment in the same operation. This gives fiber-free, flake-like pellets in the size of about 2 X 3 X 0.3 to 6.00 pm, which are continuously fed into the kiln by means of a conveyor and dried while moving in the drum dryer without losing their structure . The dried flakes obtained in this way can be put on the market as storable cattle feed.
