Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cardboard box designed as a folding box, which is formed from a folding box blank with wall parts that are coherent with long lines. Its bottom and top walls on the two end faces of the folding box are formed by folding pairs of longitudinal and transverse folding walls provided on the same long side of the folding box blank. The one end face of the folding box lid wall is composed of wall part, which at least z. T. are provided with pre-punched flaps to form an approximately rectangular support opening in the top wall and of which the bottom and top layers are each covered by one of two longitudinal quilting walls that essentially overlap in the final state of the folding box, and the middle one without or overlapping each other a single layer of additional transverse folding walls are formed.
The invention has for its object to design such a cardboard container in the region of its lid wall so that the lid wall receives a particularly high strength even with very little material and especially in the area in which it touches the inside of the hand reaching through the carrying opening is reinforced, even without adding an additional insert.
This object is achieved in that the two transverse tappet walls complementing the middle layer are provided with pre-punched recesses, which together essentially correspond to the contour of the support opening, and the two longitudinal folding walls, which form the top and bottom layers, with the folding box blank in such a spatial arrangement attached, pre-punched flaps are provided that their folds are located on opposite edges of the support opening, and that the flap attached to the lowest position is folded over by 180 and located between the uppermost and the middle wall part, whereas those on the uppermost Position attached flap forms a single-layer push-in opening flap This design also ensures that the multi-layer structure of the lid wall of the container cannot inadvertently loosen up by the fact that the innermost wall part of the wall evades after the interior of the container Bottles that would automatically prevent the innermost part of the lid wall from escaping inwards, but above all for packaging goods such as powdered, granular, lumpy or possibly liquid goods filled into flexible bags, which more between themselves and the lid wall of the container or less free space.
A particularly advantageous development of the invention for many cases is that the substantially rectangular support opening and the push-in flap closing it are arranged asymmetrically in the rectangular end wall of the folding box-type cardboard container, such that the front edge of the one folded over by 180 ° at the The lowest wall part located flap forms a reinforcement of the narrower part of the container front wall lying on one side of the support opening and extends into the immediate vicinity of the side wall of the container adjacent to it. With this design, the locking effect peculiar to the cover wall structure according to the invention is further enhanced.
