Claims (3)

1. Apparatus for producing pack blanks by cutting from a continuous web as well as for feeding to a pack or the like, it being possible to cut the pack blank from the continuous web by means of cutting knives and both the web and the pack blank can be conveyed by rotary belts, which have a sufficient spacing from one another to permit the passage of a pack and with which the pack blank is in engagement over its entire length, the belts having in the vicinity of the engagement surface of the web or pack blank suction holes subject to the action of suction air which holds the web or pack blank in the vicinity of the lateral edges thereof, characterized in that the belts (20, 21) are provided with recesses arranged at right angles to the feed direction and in the same transverse plane, which are made to correspond with the passage of the cutting knife (27), in that they are constructed as elongated holes open towards the inside of the belts (20, 21) and facing one another, said holes extending slightly beyond the lateral edges of the web (11) or pack blank (10).
