Abstract

1. Device for the withdrawal of sections (8) of a tapelike material, particularly paper, wound up on rollers (1, 14) in which the section (8) of the desired length may be unwound from a roller by pulling by hand and may be removed by a knife (5) arranged substantially parallel to the roller axis (2), including a replacement roller (14) which is arranged above the first roller, a blocking device for the replacement roller (14), a housing for covering the rollers (1, 14) in whose side walls are formed vertical guides (9) for accommodating shaft ends (4) extending out of both end faces of the rollers and inclined tracks (3) adjacent thereto in the form of rigid grooves or slots which are open on both sides, characterised in that an upwardly open step-like broadening of the guide (9) is provided and the shaft ends (4) extending out of both end faces of the replacement roller (14) are so constructed as a rectangle that only the smaller edge can slide through the vertical guides (9).
