Abstract

An assembly is disclosed for use in preventing for example water and snow from entering a gap betweeen building structures. The assembly is designed to accommo­ date both lateral and vertical relative movement of the structures and comprises a pair of elongate fixing members 2a, 2b, one on each side of the gap, each having an elongate channel section opening facing away from the gap. A rubber coated nylon flexible membrane 7 extends across the gap and is secured to the fixing members via deformable beading along its edges.
