Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tubular jacket compressor for refrigerants, in particular in devices for ice manufacture, consisting of a double-walled tubular jacket with an inlet for the liquid refrigerant and an outlet preferably arranged in the upper evaporator part for the vaporous refrigerant.
A tubular jacket compressor for refrigerants is understood to be an evaporator for refrigerating machines which is formed from the cavity, closed at both ends, between the two walls of a preferably circular cylindrical double-walled tubular jacket. The double-walled tubular jacket can be arranged with an upright (perpendicular), inclined or lying (horizontal) longitudinal axis and in connection with any type of chillers designed to cool any Medium are used, which is located in the cavity enclosed by the tubular jacket and / or around the tubular jacket.
In the previously known tubular jacket evaporators of this type, the inlet of the liquid refrigerant is provided in the lower part of the double-walled tubular jacket. The liquid refrigerant fills the lower part of the tubular jacket and has a relatively small evaporation surface, since this is limited only to the narrow cross section of the jacket cavity. As a result, the known tubular jacket evaporators have an unsatisfactory performance. In addition, the temperature in these evaporators is distributed unevenly over their height, since the evaporation takes place mainly in the lower jacket part and the cooling is consequently concentrated only in this jacket part.
The object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages of the known designs and to achieve a tube jacket = evaporator of the type described at the outset with a better efficiency and a more uniform temperature distribution.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the inlet for the liquid refrigerant is arranged in the upper part of the double-walled tubular jacket and the throughput of the refrigerant is regulated in such a way that the refrigerant flowing down from the inlet with simultaneous evaporation = the inner walls of the tubular jacket wetted on the largest possible proportion of the evaporator height.
In contrast to the previously known tubular jacket evaporators of the type mentioned, the inlet = according to the inlet of the liquid refrigerant is not arranged in the lower but in the upper part of the double-walled tubular jacket, regardless of whether the tubular jacket evaporator is upright, i.e. a vertical one or has an inclined longitudinal axis or lying, ie is arranged with a horizontal longitudinal axis. The liquid refrigerant entering through the upper inlet flows down with simultaneous evaporation on the inner walls of the tubular jacket evaporator. The throughput of the refrigerant is regulated in such a way that the refrigerant flowing down the inlet wets the inner walls of the tubular jacket evaporator to the greatest possible extent of the evaporator height, preferably to the entire evaporator height. This results in a large increase in the evaporation area of the liquid refrigerant and, as a result, in a significantly better efficiency of the tube jacket evaporator. At the same time the walls of the tubular casing evaporator on its entire or almost entire height and area by the correspondingly large = evaporation of the liquid refrigerant is achieved a very g facilitated excessive cooling of the evaporator tube jacket by wetting.

In the figures, 1 is a tubular jacket evaporator which is switched on in the refrigerant circuit of a compressor refrigerator. The refrigerant circuit has, in a manner known per se, a compressor P which sucks the refrigerant vapor out of the
The
In the illustrated embodiment, the
The
Instead of having a longitudinal axis directed perpendicularly, the
The tubular jacket evaporator according to the invention can be used in any refrigeration machine for any purpose. The
The
The tubular jacket evaporator according to the invention can, however, advantageously also be used for other purposes, e.g. can be used as a continuous cooler in air conditioning systems. In this case, the double-walled tubular body of the evaporator is open at both ends and the air to be cooled is passed through or around this tubular body.
The structural design of the
