Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for disinfecting the exhaust air from vacuum cleaners.
- the invention also relates to a disinfection body for disinfecting the exhaust air from vacuum cleaners.
- the vacuum cleaner sucks in air together with the dust and other loose objects lying around. With the help of a dust bag or sack, the sucked-in solid particles are retained, and the air used as a means of transport then leaves the vacuum cleaner essentially free of dust. Bacteria and bad smells that have either been sucked in or that have formed or increased in the vacuum cleaner cannot be retained by the filter or dust bag.
- the bacteria and germs thrown out of the vacuum cleaner with the exhaust air are mixed with the ambient air and can lead to illness in humans and animals.
- the object of the present invention is now to create a method with which the output of bak material contamination with the exhaust air from vacuum cleaners can be prevented.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a disinfection body with which the expulsion of bacterially contaminated air from vacuum cleaners can be prevented.
- the bacteria entering the suction air and / or the bacteria multiplying in the dust bag can be killed before they can get into the environment with the exhaust air.
- the arrangement of the solid containing the disinfectant in the dust bag proves to be particularly advantageous liable because the disinfectant is only released when the vacuum cleaner is in operation. Virtually no disinfectant escapes during the downtime, so that the effect of the disinfectant is retained even if the vacuum cleaner remains unused for a long time.
- a dust bag or sack 7 is used in a vacuum cleaner 1 with a housing 2, a cover 3 with a hose connection 4 for a hose 5 and an exhaust air filter 6, a dust bag or sack 7 is used. Between the dust bag 7 and a motor M suspended in the center of the housing 2 with a suction fan 8 there is a perforated wall 9 which supports the dust bag 7. At the bottom of the dust bag 7, a layer of dust 10 has already been deposited. Attached to a bracket 11, a solid 12 containing a disinfectant hangs in the dust bag 7. When the hard body 12 without clip 11 is inserted in the dust bag 7, it can of course only be used once, with the clip 11 it can be used several times.
- the disinfectant can be contained in a cylinder 13 similar to a cigarette filter (FIG. 2) or in a soft cardboard, felt or PVC 14 (FIG. 4). There is also the possibility of producing the disinfectant similar to a caper ball, which gradually dissolves.
- the solid 12 containing the disinfectant can be used with the same effect in industrial vacuum cleaners and in general in all types of industrial vacuum cleaners, regardless of their functional principle, except in a household vacuum cleaner 1.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for disinfecting the exhaust air from vacuum cleaners.
The invention also relates to a disinfection body for disinfecting the exhaust air from vacuum cleaners.
In operation, the vacuum cleaner sucks in air together with the dust and other loose objects lying around.
The bacteria and germs thrown out of the vacuum cleaner with the exhaust air are mixed with the ambient air and can lead to illness in humans and animals.
The object of the present invention is now to create a method with which the output of bak material contamination with the exhaust air from vacuum cleaners can be prevented.
Another object of the invention is to provide a disinfection body with which the expulsion of bacterially contaminated air from vacuum cleaners can be prevented.
According to the invention, these objects are achieved in accordance with the characterizing features of
In a simple and effective manner, by adding disinfectant in the vacuum cleaner, the bacteria entering the suction air and / or the bacteria multiplying in the dust bag can be killed before they can get into the environment with the exhaust air.
The use of a solid body inserted into the dust bag or designed as a filter and containing a disinfectant allows the disinfectant to be supplied in a simple manner.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.
The arrangement of the solid containing the disinfectant in the dust bag proves to be particularly advantageous liable because the disinfectant is only released when the vacuum cleaner is in operation. Virtually no disinfectant escapes during the downtime, so that the effect of the disinfectant is retained even if the vacuum cleaner remains unused for a long time.
- FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a vacuum cleaner,
- Figures 2-4 each a solid containing a disinfectant.
In a
The disinfectant can be contained in a
Of course, the solid 12 containing the disinfectant can be used with the same effect in industrial vacuum cleaners and in general in all types of industrial vacuum cleaners, regardless of their functional principle, except in a
