Bei Kennzeichnungsschildern, die jeweils individuell und zumeist erst unmittelbar vor der Verwendung beschriftet werden, besteht die Gefahr, daß die Beschriftung entweder bei der Anbringung der Kennzeichnungsschilder oder später verwischt wird. Die Gefahr einer Verunreinigung der Kennzeichnungsschilder ist dadurch gegeben, daß die beschriftbare Oberfläche des Kennzeichnungsträgerblattes ausreichend haftfähig sein muß, um die Beschriftung aufzunehmen; eine solche Oberfläche nimmt aber auch Schmutz stärker auf als eine glatte Kunststoffoberfläche. Unter Werkstatt- und Montagebedingungen, wie sie beim Anbringen von Kennzeichnungsschildern an Kabeln, Rohren u.dgl. vorliegen, kann eine Kaschierungsfolie nicht ausreichend sorgfältig gehandhabt werden, um für eine wirksame Kaschierung einer beschrifteten Oberfläche eingesetzt zu werden. Ähnliche Schwierigkeiten bestehen auch, wenn zur Kaschierung einer beschrifteten Oberfläche eines Kennzeichnungsschildes selbstklebendes durchsichtiges Kunststoffband verwendet wird, das von einer Vorratsrolle abgezogen wird.
