Abstract

A storage pocket arrangement for film material, which can be stored in a file, ring binder or the like, has a plurality of individual pockets in superposed or juxtaposed relationship, in a substantially flat configuration, for accommodating respective film strips therein. The arrangement has a strip portion arranged along an edge thereof, which includes punched holes or the like for storing the pocket arrangement in a file, ring binder or the like. The strip portion has additional markings to permit the storage pocket arrangement to be used in an apparatus for introducing the film strips into the respective individual pockets, in a cyclic mechanized procedure. An apparatus for introducing strips of film material into the respective pockets of the storage pocket arrangement includes a particular transportation means for transporting the storage pocket arrangement, means for introducing film strip into the respective pockets, and means for sensing markings on the storage pocket arrangement to provide cyclic operation of the apparatus.

Diese Maßnahme ermöglicht es, archivierbare Aufbewahrungstaschen in einer entsprechend ausgebildeten Eintaschvorrichtung jeweils taktweise zu transportieren, so daß jeweils ein Weitertransport um eine Einzeltaschenbreite nach dem Füllen der vorhergehenden Tasche erfolgen kann. Claims (6)

  1. An archivable storage pocket assembly for film material comprising a plurality of individual pockets, which are arranged in a flat article side by side or one above the other, for receiving film strips, and a strip arranged along an edge, with punched holes which are preferably adapted for insertion in files, ring binders or the like, characterised in that the strip (8) has mechanically, optically, electrically, magnetically or the like detectable marks (10) at spacings adapted to the width of the individual pockets, for the purposes of cyclic transportation in an apparatus for inserting film material into the pockets, said apparatus having detection devices for said marks, and that the strip (8) of the storage pocket assembly, on which the marks (10) are disposed and which serves for transportation of the pocket assembly in the insertion apparatus, are disposed on the side of the storage pocket assembly which has the openings of the individual pockets (5).
  2. An archivable storage pocket assembly according to claim 1 characterised in that the storage pocket assembly (1) has a detection marking (11) which is suitable for detection of the size of the individual pockets (5).
  3. An archivable storage pocket assembly according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the strip (8) is arranged at the edge having the insertion openings (6).
  4. Apparatus for inserting film material into an archivable storage pocket assembly for film material having a plurality of individual pockets which are arranged in a flat article side by side or one above the other, for receiving film strips, and a strip which is arranged along an edge, with punched holes which are preferably adapted for insertion in files, ring binders or the like, wherein the strip (8) has mechanically, optically, electrically, magnetically or the like detectable marks (10) at spacings which are adapted to the width of the individual pockets, for the purposes of cyclic transport in the insertion apparatus, and wherein the strip (8) of the storage pocket assembly, which has the marks (10) and which serves for transportation of the pocket assembly in the insertion apparatus, is disposed on the side of the storage pocket assembly which has the openings of the individual pockets (5), and wherein the insertion apparatus has a flat surface for receiving and transporting the storage pocket assembly and a stationarily disposed insertion device with a direction (B) of insertion movement which is normal to the direction of transportation movement on the flat surface, characterised in that a transportation slit (18') which extends in the transportation direction (A) is provided with a transportation means (19') which is designed to engage a bent-over or folded-over edge region of a storage pocket assembly (1), preferably the strip (8) of a storage pocket assembly, and that the transportation slit (18') is arranged along the boundary of the flat surface (12), which is towards the insertion device (13).
  5. Apparatus according to claim 4 characterised in that the insertion device (13) has a detection device for detecting the detection marking (11) which indicates the size of the individual pockets (5).
  6. Apparatus according to claim 4 or claim 5 characterised in that the insertion device (13) is designed to detect the marks (10) of the storage pocket assembly (1) and to provide cyclic transportation, in accordance with the function of the insertion device (13).
