Abstract

The device possesses a steam distributor (9). Vents (11, 13 and 15) for the discharge of the steam are provided in a housing wall (10) delimiting a steaming space (5). The exit directions of the vents (13) in an entry zone (7) and/or of the vents (15) in an exit zone (8) are inclined towards a main zone (6) lying between them.
