Im ersten Ausführungsbeispiel besteht der erfindungsgemäße Werkstückträger, der sich unter einer in Fig. 1 mit strichpunktierten Linien angedeuteten, nach unten Lack zerstäubenden elektrostatischen Beschichtungseinrichtung (7) befindet, die gegenüber Erde ein Hochspannungspotential aufweist, gemäß Fig 1 und 2 aus einem der Gestalt des Werkstückes (9) - einem Kunststoffstoßfänger für Automobile - angepaßten bügelförmigen metallischen Stützkörper (10), dessen Zentrum unterhalb der Beschichtungseinrichtung (7) und dessen beide freie Enden je mittels eines vertikalen bzw. schräg liegenden ElektroIsolators (12) mit einem Schlitten (14) starr verbunden sind, der von einem waagrechten geerdeten Förderer (16) unter der Beschichtungseinrichtung (7) hindurchgeführt wird; und aus einer im Querschnitt halbrunden metallischen Bürste (18) mit einer Drahtseele (20), die längs der längeren Mittellinie der der Beschichtungseinrichtung (7) zugewandten Oberfläche (22) des Stützkörpers (10) über diesen gespannt ist und von welcher gerade Borsten (24) der Bürste (18) radial abstehen, deren Länge im Innenprofil, d.h. insgesamt,der Innenfläche (26) des Werkstückes (9) ungefähr angepaßt ist. - Zur vorübergehenden Halterung des Werkstückes (9) am Stützkörper (10) weist dieser zur Aufnahme des vorderen und des hinteren Flansches (28) des Werkstückes Fixierlaschen (30) auf, die an der Innenfläche (26) des Werkstückes (9) im Bereich von dessen Flanschen (28) reibschlüssig angreifen. Damit die Entfernung der Borsten (24) von der Innenfläche (26) des Werkstückes (9) durch die Fixierlaschen (30) am Stützkörper (10) von diesen überbrückt wird, bestehen die Fixierlaschen vorzugsweise aus Metall wie der Stützkörper (10), dessen eines der nach unten gerichteten isolatorgestützten Enden mit einem gefederten Schleifkontakt (32) versehen ist, der mit einer parallel zum Förderer (16) verlaufenden, nicht dargestellten Kontaktschiene ständig in Berührung steht.
