Description

The invention relates to an electronically-mechanically operating door lock system, with a lock cylinder built into a door lock, which can be actuated by mechanically and electronically coded keys, which can also be included in a cylinder lock system, and which is connected to a corresponding system electronics, and also with a for programming the System electronics and the key-serving programming device, which is to be connected via a multi-core connection cable to a connector connection point leading to the control electronics.

Door locking systems of the above type are known. They enable electronic access control to the rooms to be secured, while meeting the most important requirements that have to be met by electronic access controls. This includes their programming ability, especially around on the one hand to determine the time access authorization, i.e. to determine which key should allow access to which rooms on which days of the week and at what time, and on the other hand to be able to make any changes to these key access authorizations. Furthermore, these electronically-mechanically operating door locking systems also enable a lock cylinder user control, that is to say to determine which key has been used when and in which door or in which lock. The system electronics connected to the locking cylinder and the interacting, also electronically coded, keys work in off-line mode, whereby the most important data of the electronic access control can be saved, called up and displayed at any time via the programming device. In the known electronic-mechanical door locking system, the keys are programmed in the programming device itself, for which purpose a corresponding key insertion opening is provided. In contrast, the system electronics assigned to the locking cylinder are programmed via a multi-core connecting cable which is provided at both ends with plug-forming keys, one of which is inserted into the insertion opening in the programming device and the other is inserted into the key insertion opening on the locking cylinder. However, the use of the programming device connection cable on the outside of the door is not unproblematic, because the system electronics of the door lock or lock cylinder can easily be reprogrammed by unauthorized persons without the latter having to have a key authorized for the relevant door lock. Such attempts at manipulation can be made more difficult by the fact that the authorized user must first insert an authorization key and / or enter a specific password in order to use the programming device. It should not be overlooked, however, that in practice access to the programming device is not normally restricted to just one or a few authorized persons. But the bigger the one with such a program must handle the greasing device, the greater the risk that the corresponding password or key will fall into the wrong hands.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing an electronically-mechanically operating door locking system which, with regard to the electronic access control it enables in offline mode, significantly improves its level of security in addition to conventional measures in this regard and at the same time also with less programming effort for one Large number of doors included in the off-line operation. This object is achieved on the basis of a door lock system of the type mentioned at the outset in that the plug connection point for the programming device connecting cable is arranged on the protected inside of the door.

Because the programming device can only be connected to the plug connection point of the system electronics on the inside of the door, that is to say in the corresponding security zone, the respective door must first be opened by an authorized person. The person authorized to use the programming device does not need to have an electronically coded key, which is advantageous for the desired greater security, as it is advisable for the same reasons to always separate the programming device from the replacement keys. The latter can and should be done from a central location, e.g. the personnel department or plant security of a company, managed and safely stored, while a programming device can be decentrally assigned to each security area In this way, e.g. B. organizational changes due to vacation-related changes in access authorizations are very simple.

In the case of door locking systems, which have a door lock interior arranged on the door leaf and containing the system electronics are provided, the plug connection point for the programming device connecting cable can advantageously be arranged directly on the door lock inner fitting, in particular on its underside. If, on the other hand, the system electronics, as is known per se, are accommodated in the door leaf and covered here by a faceplate running along the front face of the door leaf, the plug connection point for the programming device connecting cable can also be expediently arranged in the faceplate. In both cases, to program the system electronics, the door must first be opened using a suitably mechanically and electronically coded authorization key in order to access the plug connector on the inside for the programming device connection cable. This is also necessary for the programming of the keys, which, according to a further feature of the invention, takes place via the system electronics and the associated locking cylinder, into which the keys to be programmed must therefore be inserted and aligned therein.

Further features of the invention are described with reference to two exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. It shows:
  • 1 is a front view of a door equipped with an electronically-mechanically operating door locking system with a connected programming device and associated key,
  • Fig. 2 is a diagrammatic partial view of a door leaf with system electronics installed therein and a connected programming device, the
  • 3, 4, 5 and 6 partial representations of various data tables to be used when using the programming device.

The door shown in detail in FIG. 1 is with a mortise lock 2 embedded in the door leaf 1 and an outer fitting 4 provided with a button 3 and an inner fitting 6 supporting a door handle 5. The mortise lock 2 is equipped with a double-profile locking cylinder 7, which contains in its inner and outer part a 7 'rotatably mounted cylinder core in the housing 7'. This is to be secured by pin tumblers, not shown, which are to be moved via the key notches 8 'with matching notches 8 into their core 7' relative to the housing 7 'releasing position. The incisions 8 'in the key 8 form its mechanical coding. It can be designed for the individual keys so that they fit into locking systems provided with corresponding locking cylinders.

The door lock system shown is also additionally equipped for electronic control operation. For this purpose, a detector is arranged in the outer lock cylinder 7 ‴ at point 7 IV , which is connected to system electronics SE housed in the door inner fitting 6, which in turn allows control of an electromagnetic tumbler housed in the outer lock cylinder part 7 ‴ or in the lock 2 . The detector 7 IV interacts with a counter detector 8˝ which is attached in the key 8 and which belongs to an electronic coding and storage device 8 IV housed in the key box 8 ‴. The door lock 2 or its bolt 2 'can only be opened and, if necessary, also closed by the key 8, provided that the latter not only corresponds with regard to its mechanical coding 8' but also with regard to its electronic coding to that stored in the system electronics SE, which thus checks the key authorization and ensures the appropriate control of the door lock 2.

The programming device 9, which is known in the art, is used to program the system electronics SE as well as the key 8 Is provided with buttons 10 and a display panel 11. Via the multi-core connection cable 12, the programming device 9 can be connected to the plug connection point 13 present on the underside of the inside door fitting 6, which belongs to the system electronics accommodated in the fitting 6. In order to be able to program or reprogram the keys 8 accordingly, they are inserted into the outer cylinder 7 ‴ and aligned therein, in which case the programming of their code device 8 IV by the programming device 9 via the connecting cable 12 and the lock electronics SE and the wireless connection at the detector points 7 IV , 8˝. In this way it is ensured that the programming of both the system electronics SE inherent in the lock and the individual key 8 can only be carried out from the protected inside of the door, ie only when the door is already unlocked by the authorized person.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the system electronics SE connected to the locking cylinder 7 of the mortise lock 2 is accommodated in the door leaf 1, in a corresponding recess which is covered on the end face by the faceplate 14. In this faceplate 14, the connector 15 for the multi-core connection cable 12 of the programming device 9 is arranged, so that in this case, the programming of the system electronics SE and the key 8 to be inserted into the outer lock cylinder 7 only with the door leaf open, i.e. only with one a corresponding authorization key, specially commissioned person. Appropriately, a trustworthy person from the locking system user company is hereby commissioned, who, for example, can also be responsible for flexitime billing, vacation and illness reports. This is also desirable in everyday work because a security officer who is otherwise removed from the department is often required in special cases is not available. It must also be feared that the handling of the programming device 9 and the password or password necessary for its use is not always carried out with the necessary care, which is to be feared at least in the absence of the persons specifically commissioned with it.

The components belonging to a common locking system, i.e. the system electronics of the individual locking cylinders, the associated keys and the programming device should expediently have the same system identifier that is programmed by the manufacturer of all these components and that neither changed nor specifically by the customer or his programming device can be read out. In addition, the aforementioned components belonging to a common locking system should also have a customer identifier, which can only be entered and changed by the customer or his security officer using his programming device. With this customer identification, essential security requirements are met. It prevents duplicate keys from being misused by the manufacturer of the locking system. Also, any locking system components lost on the way to the customer do not endanger the security level of the electronic system. Last but not least, after several keys have been lost over a longer period of time, this can be restored by changing the customer ID. In individual cases, however, if the key is lost, only the relevant person ID needs to be deleted or blocked and the lock or lock cylinder or lock cylinders in question need to be reprogrammed.

The data relevant for system electronics are advantageously created and stored in tabular form in order to save storage space and to improve the handling and clarity of the system. Such tables are in the 3, 4, 5 and 6 are shown. Your data is stored in the programming device 9 in addition to the date, the time and at least one active customer identifier.

Schloß-Zugangsberechtigung besteht. The status table shown in FIG. 3 is used to determine the schedule, whereby the status values 00, 01, 02 etc. each characterize a specific date control, namely on which days of the week (M = Monday, D = Tuesday etc.) and between what times on these days a door or lock access authorization exists.

Furthermore, at least one access table according to FIG. 4 with the assignment of person identification and status should be created, whereby a different code number can optionally be assigned to each person identification for electronic code (keypad) locks.

Finally, the lock table shown in FIG. 5 should be created with all the locks included in the locking system concerned and the access table numbers assigned to them. As can be seen from this lock table, the access table No. 10 shown in FIG. 4 is assigned to the locks or lock cylinders 22, 23 and 27, whereas another access table No. 5 is defined for the lock 16. This example shows that the programming of the individual locks z. B. 22, 23 and 27 can be made very easily, because the access table No. 10 in the programming device only set up once and each need to be stored in the system electronics of the locks 22, 23 and 27.

Fig. 6 shows a section of the access log about the lock No. 23, in which the key operations of the lock cylinder belonging to the lock 23, which have been carried out one after the other, are recorded. This data is recorded and stored by the system electronics and can be transmitted to the programming device 9 at any time and displayed therein or also e.g. B. can be printed out by a printer. The "Z" in the column "BEM." indicates an attempt to open the key with the personal identifier 10381 on 06.01.1988 at the unauthorized time 8⁰¹. In this column, further abbreviations for possible other error messages can be provided.

It goes without saying that the secure storage of the programming devices 9 is very important for maintaining the system security of the door locking system, since the programming device in the off-line operation addressed by the present invention represents a very essential system component. The security advantage of this invention becomes particularly clear at the latest when the programming device is lost. A person who intends to use the programming device in an unauthorized or abusive manner would first of all have to be able to enter the security zone behind the closed door before he could reprogram the system electronics or individual keys.
