Abstract
The present invention relates to a container for transporting loose products,in particular powder products, such as very toxic products, which comprises a very high strength holding body (1) provided with raising straps and having a loading inlet (3) and a discharging outlet (4).
Inside the holding body (1) there is provided a bag (10) provided with a loading sleeve (11) and a discharging sleeve (12) which sleeves can be arranged respectively at the loading inlet (3) and discharging outlet (4),the inner bag (10) being made of an impermeable material and being adapted to be tightly closed.
Description
- The present invention relates to a container or vessel for transporting loose products and,in particular powder materials such as highly toxic powder materials.
- As is known, several types of containers for transporting loose products or materials are presently commercially available which, according to an implementation, comprise a preferably parallelepipedal body provided,on a base thereof, with gripping straps or handles to be gripped for raising and handling said container.
- These known containers are usually made of very high strength fabrics or the like materials and are able of holding loose products. However, they are not able of holding toxic materials, mainly because of their poor tightness.
- Accordingly, the task of the present invention is to overcome the above mentioned drawback,by providing a container for transporting loose products or materials,in particular very toxic powder products, which is adapted to assure a perfect tightness closure so as to prevent said products from leaking to the outside.
- Within the scope of the above task,it is a main object of the present invention to provide such a loose product container which can be easily and quickly handled while affording very safe and reliable operation characteristics.
- Still another object of the present invention is to provide such a loose product container which can be easily made starting from easily available elements and materials and which, moreover,is very competitive from a mere economic standpoint.
- According to one aspect of the present invention, the above mentioned task and objects,as well as yet other objects, which will become more apparent hereinafter, are achieved by a container for transporting loose products in general and,in particular very toxic powder materials, characterized in that said container comprises a very high strength holding body provided with raising straps and a loading inlet and discharging outlet, inside said holding body there being arranged a bag provided with a loading sleeve and a discharging sleeve, said sleeves being adapted to be respectively arranged at said loading inlet and discharging outlet, said bag being further adapted to be tightly closed.
- Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent hereinafter from the following detailed disclosure of a preferred, though not exclusive embodiment,of a container for transporting loose products or materials,in particular very toxic powder materials, according to the invention, which is illustrated,by way of an indicative but not limitative example,in the figures of the accompanying drawings,in which:
- figures 1 and 2 are respectively an exploded perspective view and a partially assembled perspective view illustrating the loose product container according to the present invention;
and - figures 3 and 4 are respectively a partial cross sectional view and a cross-sectional view of the container.
- With reference to the figures of the accompanying drawings, the container for transporting loose products or materials,in particular very toxic powder materials, according to the present invention comprises a very high
strength holding body 1 which can be made of a fabric, non woven fabric and other like materials. - According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holding body has a parallelepipedal shape and is closed at the top thereof by a
closure member 2 which is provided,at its middle region, with aloading inlet 3,the bottom of said holding body being provided with a discharging or unloadingoutlet 4. - The mentioned loading inlet and discharging outlet can be provided with a closure cord or any other tight closure known system 13.
- At the corners of the
top closure member 2 there are provided gripping straps or handles, indicatet at thereference number 8,adapted to be gripped for raising and handling the container. - A main feature of the present invention is that inside said
holding body 1 there is provided aninner bag 10,having perfect tightness characteristics, which comprises aloading sleeve 11 and a discharging or unloadingsleeve 12,said sleeves being adapted to be respectively arranged at theloading inlet 3 and theunloading outlet 4. - More specifically, the
sleeves - From the above disclosure it should be apparent that the invention fully achieves the intended task and objects.
- In particular the fact is to be pointed out that a container for very toxic powder materials and the like has been provided which has a very high mechanical strength aginst stresses so as to safely prevent the contained materials from leaking to the outside.
- While the invention has been disclosed and illustrated with reference to a preferred embodiment thereof,it should be apparent that the disclosed embodiment is susceptible to several modifications and variations all of which will come within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
