Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a metal platelet composite consisting of circular platelets which are arranged next to one another and are chained together.
Such a composite metal plate is known and is e.g. used as protection for aprons and gloves in the butcher's trade.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a composite metal plate with gemstones for decorative purposes.
This object is achieved in that the
According to the present invention, it is also possible for the
The plates advantageously consist of anodized aluminum or brass. But they can also consist of painted metal. According to the present invention, cut glass stones are preferably used as gemstones.
Such metal-plate assemblies can be provided with gemstones in a simple manner, it being possible to use the gemstones only in certain areas of the metal-plate assembly, so that very decorative patterns can be obtained in a simple manner. The gemstones can be inserted into the metal plates by hand or computer-controlled.
The metal plate composite according to the invention is particularly suitable for the production of bags, belts, clothing items and for application to clothing items.
Fastening the gemstones in the depressions by means of an adhesive enables the gemstones to be easily attached, the adhesive being applied either to the gemstones or in the depressions. Hot melt adhesives are preferred. Because the recess is conical, a good adaptation to the conical setting section of the gemstones is ensured.
The formation of the conical recess of the metal plate as a truncated cone with a hole on the cone tip prevents accumulation of lacquer when painting the plates or of adhesive when gluing the gemstones into the recess in the cone tip, which prevents the fitting section of the gemstone from fitting to the cone-shaped one Deepening the me would interfere with tall platelets. Furthermore, the hole on the truncated cone enables the adhesive to be mechanically anchored in the hole when the adhesive melts, by forming an adhesive layer around the edge of the hole.
It is also possible to form the conical depression on the cone tip with a sack-shaped extension. This creates a space for a paint or adhesive accumulation, the work step of punching through the metal plate being omitted and nevertheless ensuring a secure adaptation of the mounting section of the gem to the conical recess of the metal plate.
- Figur 1 eine Aufsicht auf den Metallplättchenverbund;
- Figur 2 eine Ansicht der Unterseite des Metallplättchenverbundes;
- Figur 3 eine Ausführungsform eines Plättchens des Metallplättchenverbundes, wobei die Vertiefung ein Loch aufweist;
- Figure 1 is a plan view of the metal plate composite;
- Figure 2 is a view of the underside of the metal plate composite;
- Figure 3 shows an embodiment of a plate of the metal plate composite, wherein the recess has a hole;
- Figure 4 shows a further embodiment of a plate of the metal plate composite, wherein the recess is widened at the tip.
The embodiments shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 have the advantages mentioned at the outset.
The
As
