Description

The invention relates to a door leaf with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

During the transition from the closed position to the open position and vice versa, the panels which are successively hinged to one another in the direction of movement pass through an arcuate guide region between the approximately vertically directed linear guide section for the closed position and the approximately horizontally running guide section for the open position of the door leaf. For this purpose, the panels are articulated to one another by hinges, the hinge axis of which runs on the inside of the door leaf, that is to say the side which faces the interior of the building to be closed with the door leaf. In order to prevent a gap between them in the pivoting positions of adjacent panels when they pass through the arcuate guide area, in which one can intervene with the fingers unintentionally or in the course of an improper movement of the door leaf, the mutually facing end faces are each of the adjacent panels is more or less arched in cross-section, and is located approximately at the center of the circular arc in the hinge axis. There is a continuous gap between the two opposite, arched end faces between the outside and the inside of the door leaf, if one disregards a seal. Such panel or door leaf designs are known, for example, from French patent 1,310,605 and German utility model 88 00 956.4. At the door leaf According to the French patent specification, the gap is closed by a seal arranged in the outer area of the gap opening when the door leaf is aligned in the closing plane; a strip-shaped end face adjoining the outer surface engages bluntly on an elastically flexible sealing strip. In the article according to the aforementioned utility model, a seal is attached between the end faces of the panels, which is intended to close the gap formed between the end faces of the panels in each pivoting position. The seal is therefore subject to rubbing stress across the entire swivel angle between the panels, which creates wear and resistance to movement. In the pivoted state, the individual hinges that form the articulated connection between two adjacent panels and are distributed over their longitudinal direction form gusset spaces in which a finger can engage, so that there is a risk of crushing when the door leaf is moved into the closed position. In the case of the subject of the aforementioned French patent, this risk of intervention does not appear to have been taken in relation to any measure; in the context of the utility model mentioned, it is recommended to provide cover wings near the hinge axis of each hinge, which, in the case of pivoted panels, the gusset space that arises on the hinge axis in the axial direction of the hinge axis to the outside to lock.

Not least because of the seals provided, the prior art requires that adjacent panels be precisely assigned during the attachment of the hinges.

It is an object of the invention to provide a door leaf at the beginning to provide the type mentioned, the adjacent panels of which can be connected precisely and easily under good sealing conditions at the same time.

Starting from a door leaf with the features of the preamble of claim 1, this object is achieved according to the invention by its characterizing features.

According to the invention, the mutually facing end faces of two adjacent panels are designed in such a way that the gap formed between them is interrupted in such a way that the door leaf runs approximately in one plane, i.e. in the opening state close to the ceiling, or - which is important here - in the closed state of the door leaf in such a way that the two End faces abut each other in a partial area of the gap extending from the outside of the door leaf to its inside, so that the gap is interrupted and the upper panel is supported on the lower one. A gap seal can thus already be brought about in this contact area, but at least the position of the panels in the closed state of the door leaf is exactly determined with respect to one another, so that a seal provided in the remaining gap area is precisely dimensioned because of the gap width and the like shape defined there and is thus determined with regard to its elasticity can be that a seal with minimal wear and friction resistance can be provided. It is particularly advantageous that adjacent panels can be arranged in a precisely defined distance from one another by the attack in the contact area before the articulated connection between these panels is distributed in the form of the length extending transversely to the direction of movement Arranged hinges is manufactured, their position-fitting attachment is considerably easier. In addition, the panels rest on top of each other when the door leaf is closed, practically without stressing the hinge connections between them.

The door leaves in question, consisting of hinged panels, require in the course of their movement the guide, which consists of corresponding guide rails arranged in the building; Depending on the type of door, the panels are provided with rollers that engage in such guide rails. In the latter case, there are so-called overhead sectional gates, but such guides are also provided for lifting gates and roller gates, as well as horizontally movable gate leaves. In order to prevent finger intervention not only in the gap area from the outside as from the inside of the door leaf, but also in the area of the hinges, hinges are provided in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the connection between the hinge tabs of which is formed by a bow-shaped hinge web which in the closed state of the door leaf or in the case of adjacent panels aligned in one plane between itself and the door leaf or the stop area of one or both hinge tabs, there is so much space that a finger can engage in this free space without being subject to a crushing risk. From this point of view the distance of about 20 mm is to be understood. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the hinge web is pivotally connected to the one hinge tab at one of its ends via a bearing block and is fixedly arranged at the other end to the other hinge tab, the latter in particular in one piece Training. The hinge web can be designed in the form of a round arch, a U-shape is preferably used, the one leg ending in the end facing away from the U-central region in a bearing point which engages in the bearing block. The design and shape of the hinge flap largely depends on the type of attachment, so that a hinge flap with its stop area can be directed towards the other hinge flap or run away from it. The connection between the hinge tabs and the respective panels can be made in a very simple manner in such a way that the hinge tabs abut the inside surface of the panels, but they can also be embedded or located inside the panels.

Insofar as guide rails for rollers which are arranged on the panels run in the access area of people operating, this area must also be secured against pinching fingers. There, therefore, in a further preferred embodiment, the hinges arranged in the side area of the door leaf are also used as a holder for the rollers, in such a way that an engagement between the roller holders and the door leaf or the hinge is prevented by a flat cover formation formed on the one hinge flap is.

The interruption of the gap, that is to say the gap region in which the mutually facing end faces of adjacent panels engage one another when the door leaf is in the closed state, is arranged to prevent a frictional attack of the panel end faces in this contact area when the door leaf changes to the closed state in an approximately vertical region in the closed state, which is at a distance from the area in which the hinge axes move in the approximately vertical closing direction, perpendicular to the closed position door leaf plane, towards the interior of the space to be closed by the door leaf. In the context of the exemplary embodiments, this is ensured in that the hinge axes are arranged at a short distance from the inner surface of the closed door leaf to the interior of the space to be closed by the door leaf.

In the sense of an even better, draft-proof and sound-insulating seal of the door leaf, a sealing strip that extends over the length of the panels and is located in the end region facing the outer surface of the closed door leaf can be provided in the upward-facing end face region viewed from the outside of the gap is such that it is only overlapped in the closing position by the concave end face seen from the outside, each directed downward in the closing direction, so that only a slight frictional stress on the sealing strip made of elastically flexible, slidable material occurs that is limited to this slight pivoting distance.

The hinge according to all of the exemplary embodiments is designated by 1 as a whole and connects the panels 2 and 3 which are reproduced only with regard to the hinge area and which follow one another in the course of the door leaf movement, a large number of which are arranged in succession to form the entire door leaf and are connected to the hinge 1 shown. Of these hinges are in the longitudinal direction of the panels, i.e. Seen perpendicular to the door leaf movement direction, several, for example 3 or 4, arranged evenly distributed. Such ceiling link door leaves and their guidance between the closed position and the open position over an arcuate guide rail section are known. In this context, reference is made to FIG. 1 of the German utility model 87 10 951.4, the subject matter of which includes a finger-protected door leaf, as shown in the present exemplary embodiments.

In Figure 1, the connection area between two panels 2 and 3 is shown when they are in a common door leaf level. This is the case in the door leaf closed state and in this respect also in the door leaf open state if the entire door leaf is below the ceiling of the space to be closed with the door leaf. In this orientation, the respective adjacent panels, here shown, the panel sections 2 and 3 in the respectively adjacent hinge area - each form an arcuate gap area 4 between them, which is delimited by the circular arc-shaped end face sections 5 and 6 lying opposite one another in this alignment. In this case, one end wall section 5, which is upper in the exemplary embodiments shown, is arched into the interior of the associated panel 2, while the end face section 6 of the other - in the examples below - panel 3 is curved towards the neighboring panel 2. The gap region 4 remaining between the end wall sections 5 and 6 does not have to be of constant width over its course as seen in the ceiling direction of the panels. The contours of the side wall sections 5 and / or 6 can more or less have the shape of a polygon. The downward-facing end section of the upper panel can also have a rectangular shape, the downwardly protruding leg running in the outer surface of the door leaf and with its freely protruding edge, tracing the gap with respect to the upwardly curved front upper side of the lower panel in the course of the pivoting movement the panels are moved so that finger intervention is prevented. It is only important that the gap area 4 remains so narrow in any pivoting state between the panels 2 and 3 caused by the operation that a finger intervention is not possible. In the gap area on the outside of the door leaf, ie directed to the left in FIG. 1, a joint is left open between the outer walls of the panels 2 and 3 and merges into the gap area 4. This joint simulates a bead as is provided in the area of the panels in a manner not shown. The cross-sectional contours of the panels shown in FIG. 1 and in the other figures each belong to wall configurations which extend uniformly in this contour shape over the entire length of the panels, ie the entire door leaf width perpendicular to the direction of movement of the door leaf.

The arcuate contours of the end wall sections 5 and 6 extend in the present exemplary embodiment approximately as circular arcs around the pivot axis 7 of the hinges 1 which pivotably connect the two panels 2 and 3 to one another. Around the hinge axis 7 is one hinge part 8, 9 opposite the other hinge part 10, which is provided with a bearing block 11 is pivotally connected. The hinge part 10 is designed as a normal hinge flap, while the other hinge part 8 and 9 consists of an approximately U-shaped hinge web 8 and an abutment area located at its end facing away from the pivot axis 7, which is referred to here as a hinge flap 9 because it is like with a conventional hinge in the pivoted position shown with the hinge flap 10 extends in a plane 23 which is described by the inner door leaf surfaces of the panels 2 and 3 in the closed position of the door leaf. The hinge 1 shown lies with its hinge lobes 9 and 10 or its stop area 15 on the inner door leaf surfaces of the panels 2 and 3, so that the hinge lobe panel contact surfaces 17 and 18 of these hinge lobes 9 and 10 are in the plane when the door leaf is closed 23 extend.

The U-shaped hinge web 8 has a first leg 13 striving from its U-central region 12, which ends in one piece and extends approximately perpendicular to the hinge tab 9. The second leg 14 striving from the central region 12 is formed at its end as a bearing part which engages in the bearing block 11. The hinge axis 7 can be formed by a bolt which passes through corresponding bearing bores in the bearing block 11 and the free end of the leg 14.

The U-shaped hinge web 8 engages over a free space 19 which extends between the two legs 13 and 14 and between the U middle region 12 and the stop region 15 of the hinge flap 10. As can be seen from the present exemplary embodiment, the distance between the legs 13 and 14 depends on the shape of the panels or the door leaf construction. The distance between the U-central region 12 of the hinge web 8 and the stop region 15 of the hinge tab 10 is dimensioned so that an adult's finger can be squeezed into it. In the present case, this distance is given as 20 mm, but it can also be somewhat smaller and in particular also larger. If the hinge tab 10 is arranged in such a way that it extends from the bearing block 11 in the direction facing away from the hinge tab 9 or if the hinge tabs are embedded in the panels, this distance must be 20 mm between the plane 23 and the U- Extend the central region 12 of the hinge web 8 so that the leg length of the hinge web 8 can be reduced accordingly if necessary.

Figure 2 shows the hinge area of the two sections of the panels 2 and 3 in the pivoted state, as it can occur at the transition of the door leaf from the closed position to the open position and vice versa. First of all, it is clear from this figure that the area between the end faces of the adjacent panels does not allow a finger to engage. On the other hand, the space overlapped by the hinge is deliberately made so large that there is space for a finger, even when the door leaf returns to a stretched position, as shown in FIG. 1. There is always enough Free space 19 to accommodate a finger without being crushed.

It can be seen from FIG. 1 that the arcuate gap area 4 extends from the outside of the door leaf or the bead-shaped recess there to almost the entire thickness of the panels. Only in a gap section 20, which is adjacent to the inner surface of the door leaf and which opens into the free space 19, are the facing end walls of the panels 2 and 3 running in a straight line, as can be seen from the cross-sectional contours 21 and 22 (FIG. 2). The contours 21 and 22 of the two panels 2 and 3 run parallel to one another and perpendicular to the plane 23 or the wide surfaces of the panels 2 and 3. The end wall sections represented by the contours 21 and 22 in the figures therefore adjoin those whose contours 5 or 6 are circular arcs. The dimensions are such that the end walls in the area of the contours 21 and 22 come closer to the plane door leaf alignment of the panels 2 and 3 than in the area of the contour sections 5 and 6. These relationships are clearly visible in the drawing. The two panels connected to the hinge can thus pivot relative to one another without the end faces rubbing against one another over the pivoting path. Only in the last end pivoting angle range for straight alignment in the plane 23 do the end face walls in the region of the contours 21 and 22 approach, so that they engage one another in the closed position of the door leaf. This results in a certain seal and above all a support for the successive series Panels in the closing direction of the door leaf. This contact of the adjacent panels with each other results in the position in which the adjacent panels can be pivotally connected to one another with the aid of the hinges. It is particularly easy to attach the hinges in this position if the adjacent panels are brought into this attack position or if the hinges are mounted when the panels are in their door leaf closing orientation.

The gap section of the supporting arrangement of the facing end faces of adjacent panels is not limited to the area shown in the exemplary embodiments in the vicinity of the inner surface of the closed door leaf, it can also be offset further to the center of the door leaf thickness dimension and / or can be wider than shown.

In all the exemplary embodiments shown, the mutually facing end faces of the two panels 2, 3 located in the closed position of the door leaf are in the gap section 20, in which the end faces of the panels abut one another, in the hinge axis direction on one of the side edges 29 of the door leaf or on the perpendicular to it Hinge axis 7 guided sectional view seen the contact surface contours 21 and 22 in a straight line parallel to each other, in these examples perpendicular to the plane 23 of the door leaf in the closed state.

Furthermore, in the illustrated exemplary embodiments, the gap section 20 is in the neighboring region of the inside surface 31 of the door leaf located in the closed position. The hinge axis 7 of the hinges 1 connecting the respectively adjacent panels 2 and 3 can lie in the inner side surface 31 of the door leaf or - as shown in the exemplary embodiments - is arranged at a distance from this inner side surface 31 to the outside of the door leaf.

From Figures 1 to 8 it can also be seen that in the gap area 4 between the end face sections 5 and 6 in the overlap area, which is taken up by the panels 2 and 3 in the closed position or in the fully open position, a seal 33 in the form of a vertical to the direction of movement of the door leaf in the longitudinal direction of the panels 2 and 3 extending sealing strip is provided, which is inserted in a correspondingly extending sealing receiving groove 34 located in the upwardly facing end portion 6 of the lower panel 3 in the closed position 3. This ensures that the friction caused by the attack of the seal 33 on the other, opposite lower end section 5 of the upper panel 2 in the closed position occurs only over a relatively small end pivoting angle range between the panels.

The panels 2 and 3 forming the door leaf according to the first exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 are each designed as a single-walled body, which is formed by an outer wall 35 and two end-side walls 5, 21 and 6, 22 and edge regions 36 adjoining them remaining open back shell 37 is formed. At the edge areas 36, which are folded back on themselves Wall sections 38 are reinforced, the hinge tabs 9 and 10 are fixed by screws, not shown, as indicated by dash-dotted lines. The shell 37 made of thin sheet metal is stiffened by means of struts 39 which rest on the outside in the region of the hinge tabs 9 and 10 with tongue-shaped ends 40 on the edge regions 36.
the panels according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 are each designed as a double-walled body, which is formed by a shell 37 which has the outer wall 35 and the two end-side walls 5, 21 and 6, 22 and also adjoining edge regions 36 and by a rear wall 41 forming cover 42 is assembled, which rests with corresponding edge sections 43 which are reinforced by folding over themselves on the edge areas 36 of the shell 37 which are reinforced by folded-over wall sections 38, so that the hinge tabs 9 and 10 with the reinforced edge sections 43 and the reinforced edge areas 36 of the Shell 37 are connected by screwed connections indicated by dash-dotted lines.

The embodiment of Figures 5 and 6 differs from that of Figures 3 and 4 by a thickened panel design such that the cover 42 is box-shaped, so that between the rear wall 41 and the edge portions 43, an end wall 44 is formed with the adjoining end wall 44 of the box-shaped cover 42 of the adjacent panel can form at least a region of the support gap section 20 or replace it with regard to the support function. The dash-dotted lines Screws for fastening the hinge tabs 9 and 10 are then - as can be seen from FIGS. 5 and 6 - each guided through the rear wall 41 and the edge section 43 spaced therefrom by the thickness dimension of the end wall 44 and the associated reinforced edge area 36 of the shell 37.

In both exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 3 and 4 on the one hand and according to FIGS. 5 and 6 on the other hand, the edges of the edge sections 43 of the rear wall 41 which protrude towards the interior of the associated panel 2 or 3 are provided with clip edges 45 which cover the folding areas between the edge areas 36 and overlap the wall sections 38 folded back on them themselves in the manner of a snapper. In this way, the shell 37 and the rear wall 41 can be connected to one another before the screwing with the hinge tabs 9 and 10 in the sense of a pre-assembly. The panels of these embodiments are provided or foamed with an insulating compound 46.

It should be particularly emphasized that all three previously described exemplary embodiments are each formed by identically dimensioned shells 37 with regard to their outer wall 35.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8, the panels 2 and 3 each have frames 47, each of which has an edge-side section of the outer wall 35, the end-side walls and the edge regions 36 or an edge section of the rear wall 41 forming these for holding the hinge tabs 9 and 10 includes. In the bordered by the respective frame 47 Room is glazing or panel used. The frame 47 can consist of metal - for example sheet metal or light metal -, plastic and / or wood.

The end face sections between the outer wall 35 and the contact surfaces between the adjacent panels 2 and 3, which are shown in cross section by the contours 21 and 22, are made of straight sections 48 and 49 for the downward end face wall of the upper panel 2 and in the closed position formed from rectilinear sections 50, 51 and 52 for the upward-facing end section of the panel 3 located in the closed position at the bottom, in such a way that - as can be seen from the exemplary embodiment - sections 49 and 48 with the contour 21 of the contact surface of the upper panel on the one hand and the straight sections 52, 51 and 50 as well as the contour of the contact surface 22 of the lower panel on the other hand each form a polygon course in cross section. The seal receiving groove 34 is arranged between the flat polygonal sections 51 and 52 of the lower panel. The seal 33 is opposite to the flat polygon portion 49 of the upper panel adjoining the outer wall 35, forming a nose.

The above-described exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 6 can also have such a polygon course of the end wall.

From the partial cross-sectional sketch according to FIG. 9 it can be seen that in the area of the gap section 20, the surfaces which come to rest there in the closed position of the door leaf with the contours 21 and 22 form an engagement from a projection 53 in the end wall of the upper panel 2 and a correspondingly shaped recess 54 in the end wall of the lower panel 3, which secure the position of the panels 2 and 3 to each other against displacement in the thickness direction of the door leaf in the engaged state, both in the way of the pre-assembly of the Panels as well as in the operating state against shifts due to wind influences and the like. Such an engagement formation is not limited to the contour formation 53 and 54 shown in FIG. 9.
