Abstract

In a wall or ceiling cover, the cover panels are not fastened directly but with interposition of at least profile holders and panel holders which can be fixed thereto. At least one, possibly even a plurality of panel holders, is required per panel depending on the panel size and/or the panel weight. If a facade is relatively large, this may lead to a very large number of panel holders. Conversely, in the case of a small facade or ceiling and/or large panels, only relatively few panel holders are required. The panel holders may thus be mass-produced articles, but also elements which are required only in small quantities. A considerable reduction in cost is obtained, irrespective of the number of panel holders required, if the profile cross-section of the latter is the same as that of the profile girder. The panel holders (2) can then be produced from sections of the profile girder (1). According to the invention, however, these panel holders are mounted on the profile girder in a position turned through 180 DEG . This means that the profile girder must have a corresponding profile cross- section. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a fastening device for attaching plates to a wall or ceiling, consisting of at least one profile support and plate holders which can be fastened thereon, each plate being connectable to at least one plate holder by means of at least one holding device. Such fastening devices are often used in connection with ceramic plates, but also with all other known cladding plates, the plates being arranged in such a way that they not only cover the wall, but also the plate holder, profile beams and, insofar as they are mounted on a substructure, the latter. The holding device by means of which the plate is fastened to its profile carrier is, for example, a screw with a nut or similar fastening means, and in the case of a ceramic plate, the screw can be held in a rear fastening shoulder of the plate or can be embedded with its head . If the plate is fastened with two or more plate holders, a corresponding number of screws, or more generally, holding device elements are provided. It is also conceivable to provide the plate for each screw or the like with a fastening hole through which a screw can be inserted. In this case, a through hole can also be made on the plate holder if the use of a nut is desired, or a thread into which the screw is screwed directly.

Generically, the supports for the plate holders are profile supports, whereby for strength reasons primarily metal profiles are intended.

Letztere stellen in diesem Anwendungsfall Massenartikel her.The plate holders, often referred to as Agrafe, are connected to the profile support in a suitable manner and, if necessary, held firmly there. On large, suspended ceilings or clad facades, especially with small panel sizes, a relatively large number of panel holders must be used. The latter produce mass-produced articles in this application.

However, it can also be the opposite case that relatively large plates are used in small numbers and therefore comparatively few plate holders are used per wall or ceiling. A small number of plate holders is known to lead to high costs. For bulk items, i.e. with large quantities, the manufacturing costs are lower because even savings of a relatively small size per plate holder have a clearly positive overall effect.

The object of the invention is therefore to develop a fastening device of the type described above so that the manufacture is simplified and the costs are reduced.

To achieve this object it is proposed according to the invention that the fastening device is designed according to the preamble of claim 1 in accordance with the characterizing part of this claim. By using the same profile for the profile carrier and the plate holder, the latter can be formed from profile carrier sections, so that only one profile is necessary for the profile carrier and the plate holder and only one tool is required in the case of a drawn profile. Because the plate holders are, as it were, placed upside down on the profile carrier, you must of course choose the profile so that the plate holder is also mounted in this position rotated by 180 ° on the profile carrier and fastened as necessary can be. Overall, the manufacture of this fastening device can be simplified, accelerated and of course also cheaper, it does not matter so much whether a large series of plate holders is necessary or a small one.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, each plate holder is pluggably connected to the associated profile carrier, wherein profile parts of the plate holder and profile carrier overlap or overlap. The latter ensures that each plate holder is firmly attached to the profile beam. A further development of the invention provides that a longitudinal web of the profile carrier engages in a profile groove of the plate holder and vice versa. Because the plate holder consists of sections of the profile beam, like the profile beam it has a profile groove and a longitudinal bar that engages in it during assembly. As a result, the longitudinal web engages in the profile groove when the profile support is mounted horizontally, both on its upper side and on its lower side. The same applies to ceiling mounting. With regard to the center of the profile of the overall profile consisting of the profile carrier and the plate holder, there is point or original symmetry in this variant as well as in the following, as shown below.

Such another embodiment of the invention is characterized in that an approximately angular free end of the plate holder engages over a longitudinal web of the profile carrier and vice versa returns. To a certain extent, the longitudinal web is on the inside and the leg of the angular free end, which is preferably parallel to it, is on the outside.

Another variant of the invention is characterized in that an approximately U-shaped end of the plate holder engages around an approximately angular profile end of the profile carrier and vice versa. Instead, it is also conceivable that an outer U comprises an inner U. In this case, an outer U is formed by the plate holder and the profile support, and both then also provide an inner U at the opposite end. The same applies to the angular profile end.

A further embodiment of the invention consists in that each plate holder is held transversely, in particular perpendicularly to its plug-in direction, at least largely without play, but preferably resiliently clamping on the profile carrier. So that the plate holder already gets a firm hold after plugging onto the profile carrier, but this should be chosen so that lateral displacement is still possible in order to be able to align the plate precisely. After attaching and, if necessary, aligning the plate holder with respect to the profile support, a firm connection between the two manufacturers can be made, if necessary, for example by means of a grub screw penetrating both or a similar previously known machine element.

A further embodiment of the invention is characterized by a transverse support of the profiled support and the plate holder via at least one support bead, edge or the like extending in the longitudinal direction of the profiled support. In this way, a linear or at least relatively narrow support is obtained at the opposite ends of the overall profile, which facilitates the attachment and can nevertheless ensure a vibration-proof connection.

The outer contour of the profile support and the plate holder together preferably results in approximately a rectangular shape. Care should be taken to ensure that the plates have the largest possible level of support, which, however, is expediently supported only on the plate holders, which is why, if the two profiles overlap, a slight reset of the profile web or leg in the overlap area is advisable.

The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing.

The drawing shows various embodiments of the invention. Here represent:
  • 1 in a broken oblique view, the fastening device with an indicated plate,
  • Fig. 2 to 6 vertical cross-sections through five different designs of profile carrier and plate holder.

In the case of wall cladding, the profile carrier 1 preferably runs in the horizontal direction, which is why the plate holders 2 extend in the vertical direction. The profile beams 1 can be mounted, for example, on a substructure 3, which in turn is fastened to the wall 4 in a manner which is not shown but is known. The substructure consists of several beams 5, which can be hollow profiles according to FIG. 1. In the exemplary embodiment, however, these are not attached directly to the wall 4, but rather are mounted on U-shaped holders 6, which enable the necessary alignment with the wall 4. In the case of ceiling mounting, the beams 5 run parallel to the underside of the ceiling.

It can be seen from all the figures that the profile beams are preferably hollow profiles with an essentially C-shaped cross section, although there are deviations from the pure C shape according to the explanations below. The variants shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4 come relatively close to the C shape. Furthermore, it can be clearly seen from the entire drawing that the profile supports and the plate holders of each individual variant each have an identical cross section, the plate holders 2, in particular, being Sections of a profile material for profile beam 1 is. These sections or the plate holder 2 are, however, rotated or turned by 180 ° in the direction of the arrow 7 relative to the profile carrier 1 and then lowered in this position in the direction of the arrow 8 on the profile carrier 1. As a result, the profile carrier and plate holder are pluggably connected to one another. After aligning each plate holder and thus also each plate 9, it can be firmly connected to the profiled support 1, for example by means of a connecting element 10, which is only shown symbolically. It can be a threaded pin, a blind rivet or another known connecting element. The connection of each profile beam 1 to the beam 5 of the substructure or the subframe 3 is likewise carried out in a known manner with the usual alignment option.

Zumindest die Schraube und die Mutter bilden eine Haltevorrichtung für die Platte 9 am Plattenhalter 2.Fig. 1 shows a so-called invisible plate attachment, which is achieved in that there is at least one pin-shaped projection 11 on the back of the plate 9, to which a screw is fastened, not shown, in particular with its head inserted. The middle leg 12 of the plate holder 2 is provided with a corresponding through-hole through which this screw is inserted, a nut being screwed onto the screw end projecting inwards, which can be secured in a known manner. At least the screw and the nut form a holding device for the plate 9 on the plate holder 2.

If you place the plate holder 2 on its profile support 1 in the direction of arrow 8, this leads to an overlap or overlap of profile parts of both elements. The profile carrier 1 of FIG. 2 has a protruding upward in the case of horizontal mounting and extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile, i.e. Longitudinal web 13 extending in the horizontal direction. This engages in a profile groove 14 of the plate holder 2. The profile groove 14 is formed by two parallel webs 15 and 16 at the upper left end of the profile of the plate holder 2 in FIG. 2. Because, according to the invention, this plate holder 2 is a section of a profile material for profile carrier 1, a profile groove 14 formed by two profile webs 15 and 16 is naturally also present on the profile carrier 1, into which a downwardly projecting longitudinal web 13 of the plate holder 2 projects. It can be seen from all the figures that there is a point symmetry with the center of the profile of the overall profile from the profile support and plate holder.

The two angular, in particular at right angles to each other profile webs 18 and 19 of the beam 1 of Figures 3 and 4 together form an angular profile end 17 of the beam 1. A corresponding, angular profile end 17 is logically also at the lower end of each plate holder 2. Each of these angular Profile ends 17 of the profile carrier 1 and the plate holder 2 is encompassed or encompassed on the outside by an approximately U-shaped end 20 of the plate holder 2 or the profile carrier 1. This U-shaped end is from the free profile web 21, the to this end, perpendicular transverse web 22 and the associated end of the central profile leg 12 are formed.

In the variants shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the profile carrier 1 is provided with an upwardly projecting longitudinal web 13, which corresponds to that in FIG. 2. An analogous longitudinal web 13 of the plate holder 2 points downwards. The longitudinal web 13 of the profile beam 1 is overlapped by an angular free end 23 of the plate holder 2. The same applies to the lower end of the overall profile of FIGS. 5 and 6. Each angled free end 23 consists, analogously to FIGS. 3 and 4, of a free profile web 21 and a transverse web 22 perpendicular thereto.

Each plate holder 2 is fastened transversely, in particular perpendicularly to its plug-in direction 8, at least largely without play, on the profile support 1, but in particular is held thereon in a spring-elastic manner. This is achieved by means of a transverse support, with a web of the profile support and the plate holder interacting at the upper and lower ends. 3 and 4, the free end of the web 19 of the profiled support 1 is supported on the inner surface of the middle leg 12 of the plate holder 2. The same applies to the lower half of the overall profile. At the same time, however, the free end of the free profile web 21 of the plate holder 2 also presses against the surface of the longitudinal web 13 of the profile carrier 1 facing the wall 4 det at the free end of the profile web 21, an inward-facing, longitudinally extending support bead 24. A difference to the variant according to FIG. 6 is that the web is cranked twice there.

Such a double cranked web 19 is also provided in FIG. 2. There, not only the web 15 has a support bead 24, but rather a further support bead is attached opposite it on the web 16.

Figure 4 shows that the web 19 of the profile holder 1 carries at its free end a downwardly extending reinforcing bar 26, wherein of course a corresponding reinforcing bar 26 is also attached or molded to the plate holder 2. It can be seen from all the representations that the profile cross sections of the profile support 1 and the plate holder 2 together with their free outer surfaces form approximately a rectangle.
