Definitions
- the invention relates to a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, with a shaft section (blade) covering the toe region.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding wrinkles and resulting painful pressure points in the sheet in sports shoes with a snug fit.
- This object is achieved in that a cut extending transversely over the toe region is formed in the blade and is covered by a material which is softer than the shaft material.
- the invention is based on the consideration that compression folds in the shaft material can only be avoided if a compression pressure is avoided in the curved shaft section.
- a recess is provided in the shaft material of the blade in the dangerous area above the top of the toes means that a pressure which causes creases cannot be transmitted at this point.
- the edges of the recess can approach each other freely because that the material covering the recess, which is a soft fabric or leather, is unable to transmit pressure. If the material covering the recess itself forms a fold that is directed inwards and presses on the top of the toe, this does not result in a painful pressure point because this material is very soft.
- a certain selection of the material or the fastening of the material to the recess can ensure that wrinkling does not occur or in any case does not direct itself into the interior of the shoe.
- the formation of folds can practically be completely prevented if a stretch fabric or the like is used as the material for covering the recess, which spans the recess with a certain stretch. If the shaft is bent in the area of the recess, the pre-expansion in the material is first reduced until it is completely relieved of tensile stress. A fold only forms when the curve bends further, but the extent remains small.
- the effect intended by the invention can already be achieve when the recess does not extend over the entire width of the sheet, but is only formed in the central section. However, the best effect is achieved if the recess extends across the blade between those parts in which the shaft drops steeply down to the sole. These are also the parts in which a reinforcement trim is provided if particularly good lateral support is desired. Basically, a narrow rectangle that runs across the sheet is also sufficient as the shape for the recess.
- the maximum distance of the opposite recess edges from each other, i. H. the maximum width of the recess should be so large that these edges do not come into contact with one another or only with insignificant pressure when the front shoe is bent. This means that a maximum width of 5 to 10 mm is normally sufficient.
- 1 and 2 show a side view and a top view of the front part of an athletic shoe according to the invention.
- the illustrated sports shoe of which only the front part of interest is shown, consists essentially of a shaft 1, a midsole 2 and an outsole 3, which is provided with a profile (not shown)
- the blade 6 of the shaft 1 stretches to the toe 5.
- the outer trim 7 serves as a shaft reinforcement and for better support of the foot against lateral forces.
- the sole tip of the outsole 3 is attached locally via the outer trim 7, e.g. B. glued.
- the material of the shaft 1 is leather, synthetic leather or the like. Or a stiff textile fabric, for. B. nylon braid.
- a crescent-shaped recess is provided in the upper material, the length of which corresponds to the width of the sheet 6 free of the outer trim and the width measured in the longitudinal direction of the shoe is greatest in the shoe center axis and is about 8 mm.
- the recess 8 is underlaid by a piece of soft tissue 9, which is fastened on the inside of the shaft by a seam 10.
- the piece of fabric 9 serves to maintain the shape of the shoe in the blade, to keep the inside of the shaft in contact with the foot there in order to ensure a good fit, and to prevent the penetration of moisture and dirt.
- the tissue should have all those properties that are conventionally required of a shaft material.
- the fabric 9 has the task, in the sense described above, of avoiding the transmission of compression pressure between the blade 6 and the shaft in the region of the shoe tip 5 in order to prevent the formation of a compression fold.
- the tissue is compared to that other material of the shaft 1 considerably softer and more flexible and usually also thinner.
- it can prevent the edges of the recess 8 from being separated from one another in relation to the tensile forces occurring in the longitudinal direction of the shoe, but not their mutual approach in the event of a bend in the front shoe part, such as occurs when the foot area is imprinted. In this situation, the edges of the recess 8 approach each other, so that the fabric 9 itself forms a compression fold.
- the fabric 9 is intended to be very soft and flexible, the compression fold formed therefrom does not produce any painful pressure on the top of the toe even if this compression fold bulges inwards.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, with a shaft section (blade) covering the toe region.
To practice sports, sports shoes are usually required that have a tight fit, ie the shaft of which is largely in close contact with the athlete's foot. However, not every shaft material can follow the deformations that the foot experiences during the movement and in particular during the rolling process in the same way. The result of this is that the shaft undergoes a different deformation than the foot in certain bending zones and, in particular at those places where it is compressed, forms wrinkle folds. One such zone in which squeeze folds can easily form is the shaft section covering the toe area, the blade. There, the shoe is bent by almost 90 ° upwards when the impression is taken at the end of the rolling process. Here, wrinkles appear in the leaf, which partly form outwards, partly inwards and of which the inward wrinkles press on the toes of the athlete. The pressure effect is stronger, the stronger the shaft material is, and is therefore particularly evident in those sports shoes which are reinforced on the outside of the shaft by a trim made of leather or the like in order to improve the lateral support. To result To avoid painful pressure points, it is already known to provide the trimmings locally on both sides of the shoe with notches or cutouts and also to keep the toe area of the shoe (toe box) upwards so spacious that the upper is not directly on the shoe Foot rests. The mentioned side notches or cutouts of the trimmings bring an improvement by reducing the formation of wrinkles in this reinforced area, but they have little effect on the blade itself. The spacious toe area, however, is not always a satisfactory solution, because some Athletes perceive the freedom of movement that this gives them as a lack of support and the sheet also tends to form a larger compression fold (instead of several small compression folds), which can nevertheless press on the top of the athlete's toes.
The invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding wrinkles and resulting painful pressure points in the sheet in sports shoes with a snug fit.
This object is achieved in that a cut extending transversely over the toe region is formed in the blade and is covered by a material which is softer than the shaft material.
The invention is based on the consideration that compression folds in the shaft material can only be avoided if a compression pressure is avoided in the curved shaft section. The fact that a recess is provided in the shaft material of the blade in the dangerous area above the top of the toes means that a pressure which causes creases cannot be transmitted at this point. When bending, the edges of the recess can approach each other freely because that the material covering the recess, which is a soft fabric or leather, is unable to transmit pressure. If the material covering the recess itself forms a fold that is directed inwards and presses on the top of the toe, this does not result in a painful pressure point because this material is very soft. In addition, a certain selection of the material or the fastening of the material to the recess can ensure that wrinkling does not occur or in any case does not direct itself into the interior of the shoe. The formation of folds can practically be completely prevented if a stretch fabric or the like is used as the material for covering the recess, which spans the recess with a certain stretch. If the shaft is bent in the area of the recess, the pre-expansion in the material is first reduced until it is completely relieved of tensile stress. A fold only forms when the curve bends further, but the extent remains small. On the other hand, too much material over the recess and its fastening in such a way that an outward fold is established from the outset can prevent an inward upset fold from a shaft bend. Because with such a bend, only the already existing, outwardly directed fold is reinforced. Finally, it is also possible to fix the material covering the recess not on the inside of the shoe, but on the outside of the upper. In this case, the recess edges lie under the covering material and promote wrinkling to the outside.
Since the blade of the shoe upper is usually arched upwards, the formation of wrinkles is usually strongest in the middle of the blade, while it decreases towards the two sides of the shoe. Therefore, the effect intended by the invention can already be achieve when the recess does not extend over the entire width of the sheet, but is only formed in the central section. In adaptation to the lesser extent of the formation of folds at the ends of the cutout, however, it is expedient to let the ends taper to a point, so that the distance between the cutout edges from one another is greatest in the middle. A crescent-shaped design of the cutout also proves to be expedient, the curvature pointing forward.
The maximum distance of the opposite recess edges from each other, i. H. the maximum width of the recess should be so large that these edges do not come into contact with one another or only with insignificant pressure when the front shoe is bent. This means that a maximum width of 5 to 10 mm is normally sufficient.
An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 and 2 show a side view and a top view of the front part of an athletic shoe according to the invention.
B. angeklebt. The illustrated sports shoe, of which only the front part of interest is shown, consists essentially of a shaft 1, a
B. Nylongeflecht. The material of the shaft 1 is leather, synthetic leather or the like. Or a stiff textile fabric, for. B. nylon braid.
Across the
