The key pin 2 is inserted in the housing base, and also a very strong bearing pin 3 for the tumbler package. A molded bridge 1m serves as a guide bar for the emergency bolt. In the right half of the housing a mandrel 4 is provided for the locking lever. Another mandrel 5 has the task of holding the electromagnet 6. A molded-on mandrel 7 serves as a suspension point for a tension spring which is connected to a key catch 8 according to FIG. 2.
The key catch 8 is slidably supported via an elongated hole 8a. In the right part there is a
Key catch 8 and swivel 10 are arranged at the bottom in the left part of the lock housing.
Fig. 4 shows a locking

It consists of a punched and folded sheet metal part, which connects the
Eine Schraubenfeder 25 versucht, Steuer- und Sperrhebel zusammenzuhalten.FIG. 6 shows the interaction of the locking
For a further explanation of the function of the electromagnetic control, reference is made to the patent mentioned at the beginning.
Fig. 8 shows the

In addition, the bolt has a recess 21h, in which a stationary
On the main bolt and the drilling protection plate there is a guard locking package, not shown, which is only needed for the emergency opening.
Das Loch 23e stützt zusätzlich den Lagerdorn 3 ab.The complete lock according to FIG. 11 has several openings in the
Fig. 12 shows the locking
In normal operation of the lock, the user types in his combination of numbers. If the number is correct, the magnet is energized for a limited time, so that the handle can be turned to the right within this time, the main bolt reversing the locking and control lever via the locking slide and going fully into the open position with the
If the combination has now been forgotten, the electronics have failed or the magnet is defective, an emergency opening must be carried out. To do this, the handle is removed, the locking shaft removed and the emergency key inserted. It has a normal double-bit coding and also differs from the locking shaft in that the locking hook is higher. When the emergency key is turned clockwise, the tumblers are arranged, the
Both emergency pins 13 and 20 are in operation when the emergency opening is activated.
The safe can be opened and closed again with the emergency key until a repair is carried out. A loss of safety is not associated with this emergency operation.
The main bolt of the lock can also be designed as a trap. In this embodiment, a spring is provided between the bolt and the housing, which causes the bolt to be extended. It is then expedient to program the control so that the code must also be entered when locking.
The electronic control is housed as a potted component in the right part of the lock housing. The lock does not require a mains connection, but is preferably equipped with long-life lithium batteries, the protective housing of which can be hung on the lock housing.
The input keyboard for the code is fixed on the door surface.
A credit card reader can take the place of the input keyboard.
For use in the hotel area, the control can be set up so that the hotel guest programs the lock with his credit card.
The described container lock can be used commercially in various areas. It can be used advantageously for hotel room safes as well as in office or private rooms and can be offered in various operating options.
It is extremely convenient for the user that he does not have to carry a key with him at all times, but that the emergency key that can be reached safely allows opening at no cost if the combination has been forgotten or the credit card has been lost.
