Für die neue Schutzvorrichtung finden Formstücke Verwendung, die von ihren Umrissen auf die zu schützenden Oberflächenbereiche des Schuhs abgestimmt sind. Dies bedeutet zum einen, daß der zu schützende Oberflächenbereich vollständig abgedeckt wird, zum anderen aber auch, daß sich die Umrisse in das Gesamterscheinungsbild des Schuhs einpassen. Die Kunststoffolie liegt bei der Verwendung der Schutzvorrichtung über ihre gesamte Ausdehnung formschlüssig an der Oberfläche des Schuhs an. Eine Tendenz zur Ablösung der Kunststoffolie wird so unterbunden. Die Kunststoffolie wird in solchen Qualitäten verwendet, die deutlich unempfindlicher sind, als die üblichen polierten Lederflächen eines Schuhs. Die Kunststoffolie schützt den Schuh nicht nur vor mechanischen Verletzungen, sondern auch vor Feuchtigkeitseinwirkungen. Kunststoffolie ist wasserundurchlässig und hält so die Einwirkungen von Wasser und Schnee vom eigentlichen Obermaterial des Schuhs fern. Figur 1 zeigt die Schutzvorrichtung in einer Ausführungsform für einen Absatz. Die Schutzvorrichtung besteht aus einem Formstück 1 aus Kunststoffolie 2. Die Kunststoffolie ist einseitig mit Klebstoff 3 beschichtet. Das Formstück 1 weist eine Anlagekante 4 für die Sohle am Grund des Absatzes des Schuhs auf. Der weitere Umriß des Formstücks 1 wird durch die Zierkante 5 bestimmt. Die Zierkante 5 ist vorwiegend nach ästhetischen Aspekten ausgerichtet. Der zu schützende Oberflächenbereich des Absatzes wird durch einen Zentralbereich 6 des Formstückes 1 abgedeckt. Der Zentralbereich 6 nimmt so mechanische Einwirkungen auf die Rückseite des Absatzes auf. Die einseitig mit Klebstoff 3 beschichtete Kunststoffolie 2, aus der das Formstück 1 besteht, kann ein oder mehrfarbig bzw. auch mit einer metallischen Oberfläche versehen sein. Die Wahl der Oberfläche erfolgt nach optischen Gesichtspunkten.Figure 1 shows the protective device in an embodiment for a paragraph. Mechanische Einwirkungen auf den unteren Bereich des Absatzes 8 können durch das Formstück 1 sicher aufgenommen werden. Dieses Formstück 1 ist als Präventivmaßnahme besonders im Winter sinnvoll. Durch verschiedenfarbige Gestaltung der einzelnen Formstücke 1 kann der Schuh 7 optisch aufgewertet werden. Es ist auch möglich, den Schuh 7 mit unterschiedlichsten Erscheinungsbildern zu versehen. Formstücke 1, die aus einseitig mit Klebstoff beschichteter Kunststoffolie in Schuhfarbe bestehen, erhalten ein schlichtes Erscheinungsbild. Durch z.
