Description

This invention relates to an improvement of a container for packaging a content, in particular content which must be protected from moisture in a powdery or granular state.

Japanische Gebrauchsmusteroffenlegungsschrift Nr. 169415/1988).Block-like box-shaped containers and box-shaped containers with a gable-shaped upper part are known, albeit as containers for liquids (e.g. Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 169415/1988).

However, the block-like box-shaped container is not suitable as a packaging container for a powdery or granular content to be stored in a moisture-proof manner, e.g. Dog food or other animal feed, fertilizer and the like, since its opening is not resealable. The opening of the box-shaped container with gable top has this reclosability because it is provided with a plastic stopper. However, containers of this type cannot be placed on top of each other since the plastic stopper protrudes beyond the container body.

It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a packaging container which can prevent moisture absorption of a content not only before but also after the seal is opened, which can easily prevent denaturation and modification of the content which is stackable, the content evenly can distribute and rationally prevent unauthorized interference.

BESCHREIBUNG DER ERFINDUNGDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To achieve the above-described object, the present invention makes use of a packaging container arrangement, which is characterized in that a sealing film protecting against moisture, the area of which is larger than an opening formed at a predetermined position of a moisture-proof container main body for the removal of contents, is provided at one end is attached (heat-sealed) to the outer surface of the container main body and a flap is formed at the other end thereof, is arranged outside the opening, at least on the inner surface of the sealing film with the exception of the area corresponding to the opening, a repeatedly connectable and peelable adhesive is applied, and the sealing film is connected to the outer surface of the container main body by the adhesive in such a manner that it can be opened and reclosed. In this arrangement, the outer surface of the outer peripheral edge of the opening formed in the container main body is peelably connected (heat sealed) to the sealing film. In this arrangement, a moisture sealing auxiliary sealing sheet is attached (heat sealed) to the inner surface of the container main body including the opening, and the sealing sheet and the auxiliary sealing sheet covering the opening are attached to each other (heat sealed) under the conditions that the bond strength is greater than the tensile strength of the Auxiliary sealing film. In the arrangement described above, the opening consists of a plurality of groups of small holes. In the above arrangement, a detachable tamper-preventing means is disposed in the portion of the sealing film which is detached when the seal is first opened. Furthermore, a slot for measuring the content is provided on any side wall of the container main body in a vertical arrangement.

The peeling process of the sealing film is stopped at the attached section of this sealing film on the container main body and the opening of the opening can be carried out reliably. The resealing can be carried out easily and a moisture-sealing effect can be reliably achieved. Fasteners of a narrow outer surface portion around the outer peripheral edge of the opening improve the moisture-proofing effect before opening the seal and the moisture-proofing effect before opening the seal can be further enhanced when the auxiliary sealing film is added.

For example, it is possible to package a granular chemical for horticulture and to distribute a predetermined amount of the contents evenly by carrying the container main body in hand and shaking it gently.

Furthermore, the distribution of the contents can be carried out while the measuring slit is being observed, and a spray amount of the chemical can be adjusted to a desired level. Since the means for preventing unauthorized tampering is additionally provided on the sealing film, an unauthorized change in the content or reduction in the amount of content can be rationally prevented.

These and other objects and novel features of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying figures.

BESCHREIBUNG DER BEVORZUGTEN AUSFÜHRUNGSFORMENDESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The first embodiment of the present invention according to claim 1 will be explained with reference to Figs. 1 to 3 and Figs. 8 and 9.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a box-shaped container main body, which is made, for example, of a material obtained by coating cardboard 2 on both sides with linear low-density polyethylene. An opening 4 with a teardrop-shaped flat shape is formed on one side of a top wall 3 of the container main body 1. A larger diameter portion of this opening 4 is arranged close to a side edge 1a of the container main body 1 to facilitate the removal of powdery or granular contents.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a wide and elongated sealing film, that is, a moisture-sealing sealing film with a large surface area. As shown in Fig. 9, the sealing film 5 has a composite film structure and is made, for example, by laminating an OPET film 5b which is heat-set by a polyester film under two-way stretch conditions on the surface of an aluminum film 5a and a linear low-density polyethylene film 5c the bottom of the aluminum foil 5a was obtained.

One of the ends of the sealing sheet 5 is fixed with a heat seal 6 to the outer surface of the top wall 3 which forms the container main body 1 over a predetermined width, and a tab 7 is arranged at the other end of the sealing sheet 5 for opening and reclosing the container main body. The heat seal line 6 has a stop function of the opening process when the sealing film 5 through Detection of the tab 7 is opened. A repeatedly peelable and reconnectable adhesive 8 is provided in an area other than at least an area corresponding to the opening 4 and the tab 7 on the lower surface of the linear low-density polyethylene film 5c forming the sealing film 5.

Die Verschlußfolie 5 wird an der Seitenkante 1a des Behälterhauptkörpers 1, wie in Fig. 1 gezeigt, rechtwinkelig umgefaltet und entlang der Oberfläche der Seitenwand 9, die den Behälterhauptkörper 1 bildet, verklebt.FIG. 2 shows an embodiment in which adhesive 8 is applied in the entire regions of opening 4 and tab 7, and FIG. 8 shows a further embodiment in which adhesive 8 has a predetermined width around the outer peripheral edge region of closure film 5 is applied. In particular, the embodiment shown in FIG. 8 rationally prevents the adhesive 8 from being arranged opposite the region of the opening 4 due to incorrect handling during reclosing, and thus from adhering to the contents. The sealing film 5 is folded over at right angles on the side edge 1a of the container main body 1, as shown in FIG. 1, and glued along the surface of the side wall 9 which forms the container main body 1.

A further embodiment of the present invention is explained below in accordance with claim 1 with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. In addition to the structure of the embodiment as shown in Figs. 2 and 3, in this embodiment, the entire outer peripheral edge of the opening 4 formed in the container main body 1 and the sealing sheet 5 are provided with a heat seal line 10 over a limited width, thereby the penetration of moisture through the adhesive layer 8 by means of the heat seal line 10 is prevented. The remaining structure corresponds to that shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, so that the detailed explanation is not repeated.

Another embodiment of the present invention according to claim 3 will be explained with reference to FIG. 6.

In addition to the structure of the embodiment shown in Figs. 2 and 3, this embodiment has a structure in which an auxiliary sealing film 11 having a larger area than that of the opening 4, which is made of, for example, low density polyethylene, by means of a heat seal line 12 on the inner surface of the container main body 1, which forms the container main body 1, is fastened including the opening 4 and is connected with a heat seal point 13 to the region of the closure film 5 which corresponds to the opening 4, the strength of the connection being greater than the breaking strength of the auxiliary film 11.

According to this embodiment, the opening 4 is closed by the double arrangement of the sealing film 5 and auxiliary sealing film 11 and the moisture-sealing effect up to the opening of this sealing film is further increased. When the seal is opened, the auxiliary sealing film 11, which is connected to the sealing film 5 by the heat sealing point 13, tears open and the opening 4 is opened, but the torn auxiliary sealing film 11 adheres to the sealing film 5.

A further embodiment of the present invention is explained below in accordance with claim 3 with reference to FIG. 7. In addition to the structure of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, an auxiliary sealing film 14 with a larger area than that of the opening 4, for example made of low-density polyethylene material, by means of a heat seal point 15 with the inner surface of the container main body 1, which forms the container main body 1, including the opening 4 and the area of the sealing film 5 and the area of the auxiliary sealing film 14 which span the opening 4 are connected to one another by a heat sealing point 16 with a connection strength which is greater than the tear strength of the auxiliary sealing film 14.

The container main body 1 explained in the above-described embodiments is a box-shaped structure made of, for example, cardboard 2 coated on the inner and outer surfaces with linear low-density polyethylene. However, the present invention can also be applied to a container made of metal or a plastic. Accordingly, the materials forming the container main body are not particularly limited to the materials described in the above-described embodiments.

Further embodiments of the present invention are explained below in accordance with claims 4 and 5 with reference to FIGS. 10 to 13 and FIG. 24. These embodiments are modified embodiments of the embodiment shown in FIG. 8 and the opening 4 consists of several rows of small holes 4a, which are arranged in a rectangularly offset manner. Since the opening 4 consists of the group of small holes 4a, the amount of the content that is shaken out can automatically be limited to a constant amount that can be evenly distributed. The area delimited by two parallel broken lines represents a heat seal area 6a which is peeled off in the initial phase of opening the sealing film 5. The adhesive 8 is not applied to the area enclosed by the heat seal area 6a.

The small holes 4a, which are arranged on the underside when the contents are scattered, have a smaller diameter and the diameters of the small holes 4a increase progressively towards the upper side, so that the contents can be scattered more uniformly.

In 10, the same reference numerals are used for the same components in accordance with FIG. 10 and a detailed explanation is omitted.

Fig. 13 shows yet another example, where each small hole 4a has a relatively large diameter and the edge area on the outer periphery of all small holes is provided with heat-sealing lines 10a in such a way that, as shown in Fig. 4, they come from the sealing film are removable.

As shown in Fig. 11, a window 1d is formed on one side of the top wall 3 or side wall of the container main body 1, and the peripheral edge portion of a film 1e such as e.g. a film or a layer which is made of a material different from the material of the container main body 1, for example a plastic, and which is provided with the opening 4 or the group of small holes 4a, as shown in FIGS. 1, 10 and 11, is attached by heat sealing to the peripheral edge of the window 1d on the back or front thereof.

The following functions and effects can be achieved when the opening 4 or the group of small holes 4a in the film 1e is made of a plastic material different from the cardboard material forming the container main body 1, and this film 1e and the sealing film 5 are heat-sealed to one another to form the heat-sealing region 6a. When the sealing film 5 and the container main body 1 are directly connected to each other as shown in Fig. 10, there arises a disadvantage that if the bond strength of this heat seal area 6a is larger than a predetermined value, a cardboard box area next to this heat seal area 6a is also peeled off and is torn, and this torn piece of cardboard has an adverse effect on the reclosing process with the sealing film 5. However, this problem can easily be solved by Heat sealing of the film 1e and the sealing film 5 can be solved. The structure of the embodiment shown in FIG. 11 can of course also be applied to the heat sealing area 6a shown in FIG. 12 and the heat sealing area 10a shown in FIG. 13.

Fig. 14 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform von Fig. 1. Fig. 14 shows another embodiment of Fig. 1. The opening 4 is formed in the upper part of the side wall 9 on one of the sides of the container main body 1 and the sealing film 5 for opening and closing this opening 4 is arranged so that it is transverse to the Side wall 9 runs to the adjacent side wall 9a. In this embodiment, when the sealing film 5 is peeled off and the opening 4 is opened to scatter the contents, the free end of the peeled sealing film 5 is easily separated from the opening 4, thus preventing the contents from adhering to the adhesive 8 when scattered . In this case, the shape of the opening 4 is not particularly limited as long as the shape is suitable for scattering. This embodiment can also be applied to the group of small holes 4a as an opening as shown in Figs. 10, 11, 12 and 13.

An embodiment of the means for preventing unauthorized tampering is explained below with reference to FIGS. 15 to 20. The basic structure of this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, is similar to the structure of the embodiment shown in FIG. 4. This means that a heat-sealing area 20 is designed such that it extends from the tab 7 via a tear-off strip 19 which is surrounded by two parallel dividing lines 17 and is provided with a handle 18 on one side. It goes without saying that the adhesive 8 is not applied to the tab 7 and the tear-off strip 19 and the heat-sealing region 20 is fastened to the container main body 1, ie is heat-sealed.

To use the container, the tear-off strip 19 is first cut off along the cut-off lines 17, as shown in FIG. 16, whereupon the exposed tab 7 is grasped and the sealing film 5 is pulled off in order to enable the seal to be opened for the first time. Since the seal of the sealing film 5 is not opened unless the tear strip 19 is separated in this way, it is possible to prevent the sealing film 5 from being opened deliberately and to prevent unlawful operations such as replacing the content and reducing the amount of the content. Reference numeral 21 in the figures denotes a mark which indicates that the seal has already been opened.

The embodiments shown in FIGS. 17 and 18 and the embodiments shown in FIGS. 19 and 20 show a change in the severing direction of the tear-off strip 19 with the handle 18 or a change in its shape. Since these embodiments are aimed at the same object as the embodiment shown in FIG. 15, the reference numerals used in FIG. 15 are used further and a detailed explanation is omitted.

Another embodiment of the present invention according to claim 6 will be explained with reference to Figs. 21, 22 and 23. This embodiment represents the arrangement in which the group of small holes 4a is formed on the upper portion of the side wall of the container main body 1 and a transparent measuring slit 23, which is provided with a scale 22, for example, in units of 5 g, in a vertical position on one the sides of the container main body is arranged. A transparent or semi-transparent tape 24 is glued to the entire area of the inner surface of this transparent measuring slit 23, as shown in FIG. 26. The width and length of the transparent measuring slot 23 are chosen in such a way that the quality of the content is not impaired.

As shown in FIG. 22, the transparent measuring slit 23 consists of two transparent measuring slits 23a, 23b, the axes of which are offset to the left and to the right in the longitudinal direction. When using a plurality of transparent measuring slits 23a, 23b in this way, the strength of the side wall 9 can be considerably increased compared to the arrangement in which, as shown in Fig. 21, only one longitudinal slit is provided, and the deformation of the Container main body 1 due to compressive forces exerted perpendicular to the side wall 9 from the direction of the side wall 9a can be prevented in a rational manner. If the content is reduced to the area of the transparent measuring slot 23b of the lower level, the remaining amount of the content can be seen and ascertained, which serves as a reminder for the acquisition of new content.

Of course, the lower end of the transparent measuring slot 23a of the upper level and the upper end of the slot 23b of the lower level are arranged in the same level. The shape and arrangement of the opening 4 is not particularly limited to that shown in the figure.

In other words, a cover film 25 is formed by lengthening the sealing film in such a way that it covers the transparent measuring slot (s). 23 completely closes and prevents the contents from being denatured and decomposed by accidental sunlight. At least the material of the cover film 25 described above must be selected from materials that do not allow the passage of sunlight.

Fig. 27 shows the container main body provided with an inclined surface 1b in the upper portion on one side and the group of small holes 4a is formed in this inclined surface 1b. Fig. 28 shows the container body 1 in a gabled form, and the group of the small holes 4a is formed on the inclined surface 1c on one side thereof. Furthermore, FIG. 29 shows the container main body 1 in block form and the group of small holes 4a is formed on one side of the top wall, a seam region in the middle acting as a boundary. As described above, the structure and shape of the container main body 1 according to the present invention are not particularly limited to those shown in the figures. Furthermore, the materials forming the sealing film 5 and the auxiliary sealing film 11, 14 are also not particularly limited to those used in the above-described embodiments.

The present invention has the following advantageous effects:
  • a) The opening can be opened safely and reliably and the contents can be poured out by grasping the grip tab and attaching the sealing film to by heat sealing Area is subtracted. After the contents have been removed, the opening can be reliably closed by re-adhering the sealing film and it is possible to exclude the outside air from the inside of the container and to prevent the contents from absorbing moisture from the outside (according to claim 1).
  • b) The narrow heat seal line on the outer surface of the outer circumference at the edge of the opening can promote the protective effect against the ingress of moisture from the outside before opening the closure (according to claim 2).
  • c) Before the first opening, the opening is closed by the heat seal area, which has the double arrangement of the sealing film and the auxiliary film. Therefore, the penetration of external moisture can be prevented with certainty and the denaturation and change of the content by moisture can be prevented in a rational manner (according to claim 3).
  • d) The means for opening and reclosing the opening has a thin film structure. Therefore, the container main bodies can be easily stacked even when this sealing film is arranged on the upper surface of the top wall of the container main body, and the handling of the container main bodies such as packaging and transportation can be improved.
  • e) Since the opening consists of several small holes, a granular ingredient, such as a chemical for gardening or agriculture can be distributed in a uniform amount by simply gently shaking the container main body while walking and carrying the container main body (according to claim 4).
  • f) The detachable means for preventing unauthorized tampering is arranged in a section for opening the sealing film for the first time. Therefore, it is possible to rationally prevent any intended illegal interference, such as exchanging the content or reducing the amount of content (according to claim 5).
  • g) The measuring slots (e) for the content are arranged on any side wall of the container main body in the vertical direction. Therefore, the content can be spread while its amount is being measured, and the spreading and feeding of an appropriate amount of the content according to the intended application is feasible (according to claim 6).
