The contact piece (25) pushes, in the closed position of the operating element (16), counter-notching elements (22) respectively against a detent spring (18). However, in the open position of the operating element (16), the counter-detent elements (22) can engage in recesses (27) of the contact piece (25) by releasing the detent spring. 'stop (18).

Description

Eintreibgerät mit Magazinverschluß Driver with magazine lock
Stand der Technik State of the art
The invention is based on a driving tool according to the preamble of claim 1. From DE-GM 87 03 691 a driving tool is already known, the magazine of which can be opened by lateral pressure on a handle of the magazine slide and then pulling out the slide. In this magazine, however, a relatively large amount of force is required when opening in order to deflect the detent springs which generate the necessary locking force of the magazine.
Vorteile der Erfindung Advantages of the invention
The driving tool according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that it can be opened with little effort without the high locking force of the magazine on the firing channel being impaired. The magazine can be opened with a simple pull on the handle. The manual opening force of the magazine lock is considerably lower than the locking force on the magazine slide generated by the detent springs. The measures listed in the dependent claims allow advantageous developments and improvements of the driving tool specified in claim 1. It is particularly advantageous if the movable contact piece has two sections, only one of which holds the counter-locking element in contact with the locking spring and the other leaves the counter-locking element freedom of movement. It is also advantageous to design the counter-locking elements as rollers. A storage of the counter-locking elements in the slide, which enables transverse mobility to the direction of displacement, together with the design of the switching element leads to the desired low required opening force of the magazine. A crouch between the holding section and the recess of the contact piece determines the amount of force to be used when opening the magazine. The cam should therefore be chosen to be small. In the closed state of the magazine, the catch spring engaging around the associated counter-catch element causes a high closing spring on the slide. This has the advantage that the firing channel remains completely closed in normal operation, but the slide can yield when stapling is clamped in the final channel in order to avoid damage. The arrangement of the recess of the slide in front of the holding section (viewed in the direction of the closure-side end of the magazine) has the consequence that the pulling direction for opening the magazine closure and for opening the magazine is the same. The handle for opening the magazine is expediently arranged directly on the switching piece and is displaceable relative to the slide by the required switching path. Finally, a small catch spring in the handle ensures that the switching piece does not come into its locking position before the magazine is fully inserted.

Beschreibung des Ausführungsbeispiels Description of the embodiment
In a housing 1, a driving tool has a shock knife 2, which is driven in particular by a current-carrying coil and is guided in a firing channel 3. The firing channel 3 extends into a magazine 4 and ends in a mouth 5. The magazine 4 is mounted at the front near the firing channel 3 in an elongated hole 7, which is penetrated by a pin 8 fixed to the housing, with limited vertical movement. At the rear end facing away from the firing channel 3, the magazine 4 is connected to the housing 1 so that it can rotate about a horizontal axis 9.
The magazine 4 consists essentially of a U-shaped first magazine part 11 connected to the housing 1 and immovable with respect to the firing channel 3 and a slide 12 engaging therein. One of the flanks 13 can be seen in particular from the magazine part 10 in FIG. The clip-shaped stapling means 14 ready for processing are guided in an intermediate space formed between magazine part 11 and slide 12. The magazine 4 is laterally covered by a housing part 15. The housing part 15 does not extend to the end of the magazine but only up to a handle 16 which is connected to the slide 12. The handle 16 has the shape of a box open on two sides, of which a side wall 17 can be seen in FIG. The handle 16 is therefore freely accessible from the outside to pull the slide 12 away from the firing channel 3 to the rear. On the fixed magazine part 11, two detent springs 18 projecting freely to the rear are fastened (see FIGS. 2 to 4), each of which has a bent end 19. The slide 12 has a flat base plate 20, on which a storage rack 21 for mounting counter-locking elements 22 is placed. The counter-latching elements 22 are designed as standing rollers. The bearing frame 21 allows the rollers 22 to move to a certain extent transversely to the longitudinal extent of the magazine 4. The rollers are immovable in the direction of displacement of the slide 12 which is 90 ° to it. The slide 12 is closed at the top by a cover plate 23, which also prevents the rollers 22 from falling out.
Between the base plate 20 and the cover plate 23 of the slide 12, a "switching piece 25 is arranged at the level of the rollers 22. At its end facing the closing channel 3, it has laterally protruding cams 24 (See Figure 4.) The switching piece 25 has two tabs one above the other, each with holding sections 26 arranged opposite one another in pairs, which hold the rollers 22 in contact with the detent springs 18. In the direction of the firing channel 3, subsequent to the holding sections 26, the switching piece 25 has obliquely tapered recesses 27 into which the rollers 22 can fall when the magazine lock is open (see Figure 4.) A small cam 28 is arranged between the holding sections 26 and the recesses 27. The switching piece 25 has a web running perpendicularly between the two tabs 29, which is inserted into a groove 30 of the handle 16 (see F igur 4 and 5. The switching piece 25 is thereby firmly connected to the handle 16. Switch piece 25 and handle 16 are displaceable relative to the slide 12 by a switching path which is somewhat larger than the diameter of the counter-locking elements 22. The handle 16 has a longitudinal groove 31 on the side walls 17 at the bottom left and right, and is guided on the base plate 20 so that it can move slowly. In a bottom part 32 of the handle 16 connecting the two side walls 17, a small catch spring 33 is arranged, the catch 34 of which interacts with the rear end edge 35 of the base plate 20 (see FIG. 3 and FIG. 5).
In Figures 2 and 3, the magazine lock is closed. The rollers 22 rest on the holding sections 26 of the switching element 25. On the other hand, the rollers 22 rest against the detent springs 18, which engage around the rollers 22 with their ends 19. The detent springs 18 extend close to the side walls 17 of the handle 16 so that they can be deflected somewhat outwards (see also FIG. 4). In this position of the magazine, the slide 12 with the counter-latching elements 22 mounted therein cannot be removed from the rear of the fixed magazine part 11 without overcoming the high resistance of the latching springs 18. The slider 12 is not form-fitting, but is only held in the magazine part 11 in a force-fitting manner, so that when clamping means 4 in the firing channel 3, the slider 12 can retreat somewhat and damage in the firing channel can be avoided. However, the locking force of the magazine caused by the spring ends 19 is so great that the magazine does not open automatically during operation. The end edge 35 of the base plate 20, which in this position bears directly against the rear wall 36 of the handle 16, serves as a stop for the closed position of the magazine lock.
To open the magazine, the handle 16 is pulled away from the firing channel 3 into the position shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The counter-locking elements 22 slide over the cams 28 and get into the recesses 27 of the switching element 25. The locking springs 18 deviate slightly outwards to the side walls 17 of the handle 16. When the handle 16 is pulled out, only the part 16 moves and the switching piece 25. The slide 12 itself with the bearing frame 21 and the counter-latching elements 22 initially remains in the original position. If the counter-latching elements 22 are now in the cutouts 27 (see FIGS. 4 and 5), the slide 12 can now be pulled out of the magazine part 11 without further resistance of the magazine lock by further pulling on the handle 16. The cams 24 of the switching element 25 pull on the bearing frame 21 connected to the base plate 20. When the magazine 4 is closed, the catch spring 33 ensures that when the handle 16 is moved, the catch 34 bears against the end edge 35 of the base plate 20 of the slide 12. This ensures that the slide 12 is first pushed all the way into its end position before the handle 16 moves relative to the slide. This ensures that the magazine can be closed at any time with little effort. The counter-locking elements 22 are then still in the recesses 27, where they can be run over by the locking springs 18 without resistance. Only then are they pushed outwards by the contact piece 25 to bear against the detent springs 18.
The opening force to be overcome when opening the magazine 4 is determined by the height of the cams 28 and the spring force of the detent spring 18 transversely to its direction of extension, that is to say in a direction in which it can be deflected relatively easily. The locking force of the magazine 4, on the other hand, is determined by the size of the wrap angle of the ends 19 around the counter-locking elements 22 and by the spring stiffness of the detent springs 18
