Abstract

A single service point 3 is assigned 2 parallel running belts 6, 6' with scanners 1, 1' to be operated by the customers. Each customer scanner 1, 1' is connected to a customer-checking screen 2, 2', the customer scanners 1, 1' and the associated customer-checking screens 2, 2' being arranged at the end of the running belts 6, 6' within the viewing and checking range of the service point 3. The sales-related data of the two running belts 6, 6', recorded via the customer scanners 1, 1', can simultaneously be read on the screen 10 of the service point 3 in the same or a different size and in a design of any colour. The simultaneous reading of the recorded values of the two running belts 6, 6' makes it possible, at any time, to conduct a complete check of the flow of the two recording operations via the screen 10. <IMAGE>
