Abstract

Klappschachteln (10) für Zigaretten bestehen aus einem Schachtelteil (14) und einem gelenkig mit diesem verbundenen Deckel (15). Um die Schließstellung einer derartigen Klappschachtel (10) zu sichern, ist an einer Deckel-Vorderwand (25) in Verlängerung derselben eine Stecklasche (40) angebracht. Diese wird bei geschlossener Klappschachtel (10) in einen Spalt (41) eingeführt, der zwischen einer Kragen-Vorderwand (36) eines Kragens (35) und einer Vorderwand (16) des Schachtelteils (14) gebildet ist. <IMAGE>

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel (Hinge-Lid-Packung) für Zigaretten, mit einem Schachtelteil aus Vorderwand, Rückwand und Seitenwänden sowie einem Deckel mit Deckel-Vorderwand, Deckel-Seitenwänden und einer mit der Rückwand des Schachtelteils schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel-Rückwand und mit einem am freien Rand der Deckel-Vorderwand angebrachten Faltlappen, wobei im Schachtelteil ein Kragen aus Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenlappen so angeordnet ist, daß dieser in Schließstellung teilweise durch den Deckel umfaßt ist.
  • Klappschachteln bzw. Hinge-Lid-Packungen sind ein international weitverbreiteter Packungstyp für Zigaretten. Bei einem standardmäßigen Aufbau ist eine Zigarettengruppe von einer Innenumhüllung umgeben und bildet einen Zigarettenblock als Packungsinhalt. Die Klappschachtel selbst besteht aus dünnem Karton. Der Kragen besteht aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt, ebenfalls aus dünnem Karton. Als Außenumhüllung ist eine Zellglas- oder dünne Kunststoffolie vorgesehen.
  • Ein gewisser Mangel der Klappschachteln besteht darin, daß der Deckel bei geschlossener Verpackung keine exakte Schließstellung hält. Dies ist besonders nachteilig bei Klappschachteln ohne Außenumhüllung. Bei der Handhabung solcher Packungen vor Ingebrauchnahme derselben, zum Beispiel bei der Entnahme aus einem Zigaretten-Automaten, besteht die Gefahr eines unbeabsichtigten Öffnens der Verpackung.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Klappschachteln für Zigaretten oder ähnliche Gegenstände dahingehend weiterzuentwickeln und zu verbessern, daß ohne auffällige Umgestaltung eine verbesserte Schließstellung des Deckels gewährleistet ist.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Deckel-Vorderwand in Verlängerung derselben eine Stecklasche angebracht ist, die in Schließstellung zwischen Kragen-Vorderwand und Vorderwand des Schachtelteils vollständig eingeschoben ist, derart, daß die Schließkante des Schachtelteils bzw. der Vorderwand desselben und eine untere Deckelkante der Deckel-Vorderwand aneinanderliegen.
  • Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Klappschachtel wird ein nur geringfügig veränderter, standardmäßig ausgebildeter Zuschnitt eingesetzt. Ein bei herkömmlichen Klappschachteln vorhandener Faltlappen an der Deckel-Vorderwand, nämlich ein Deckel-Innenlappen, wird erfindungsgemäß nicht gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand umgefaltet und mit dieser verbunden. Vielmehr bleibt der Faltlappen in der Ebene der Deckel-Vorderwand und dient als Stecklasche. In Schließstellung tritt die Stecklasche in einen zwischen der Vorderwand des Schachtelteils und der Kragen-Vorderwand gebildeten Spalt und ist so vollständig verdeckt. Die Stecklasche wird in dieser Position form- und kraftschlüssig fixiert und hierdurch eine verbesserte Schließstellung bewirkt. Da Deckel-Vorderwand und Stecklasche eine durchgehende Ebene bilden, wird auch der sonst bei Klappschachteln übliche, unerwünschte Schließspalt zwischen einer Deckelkante der Deckel-Vorderwand und einer Schließkante der Vorderwand des Schachtelteils vermieden.
  • Der an der Deckel-Vorderwand angeordnete und als Stecklasche dienende Faltlappen hat eine zungenförmige Ausgestaltung, die das Einführen in die Steckposition erleichtert.
  • Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung beziehen sich auf eine neuartige Fixierung des Kragens im Schachtelteil durch an ausgewählten Stellen angebrachte Leimpunkte. Des weiteren kann eine Formgebung bzw. Prägung von Kragen-Vorderwand und/oder Stecklasche die Handhabung der Verpackung erleichtern.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemäßen Klappschachtel wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigen:

  • Eine Klappschachtel 10 besteht üblicherweise aus einem Zuschnitt 11 (Fig. 4) aus dünnem Karton. Dieser ist durch Stanzschnitte 12 und Faltlinien 13 so geformt, daß die Klappschachtel 10 einen Schachtelteil 14 und einen Deckel 15 bildet. Der Schachtelteil 14 besteht aus Vorderwand 16, Bodenwand 17, Rückwand 18 sowie zwei schmalen, aufrechten Seitenwänden 19, 20. Letztere werden aus je zwei einander überdeckenden und durch Klebung miteinander verbundenen Seitenlappen 21, 22 bzw. 23, 24 gebildet.
  • Der Deckel 15 besteht aus Deckel-Vorderwand 25, Deckel-Oberwand 26, Deckel-Rückwand 27 sowie Deckel-Seitenwänden 28, 29. Auch diese bestehen aus je zwei einander überdeckenden und miteinander verklebten Deckel-Seitenlappen 30, 31 bzw. 32, 33. Die Deckel-Rückwand 27 ist über eine Gelenklinie 34 mit der Rückwand 18 des Schachtelteils 14 verbunden.
  • Im Schachtelteil 14 ist ein Kragen 35 angeordnet. Dieser besteht hier aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt, ebenfalls aus dünnem Karton. Der Kragen 35 bildet eine Kragen-Vorderwand 36 im Bereich der Vorderwand 16 des Schachtelteils 14 sowie quergerichtete Kragen-Seitenlappen 37, 38. Letztere liegen an der Innenseite der Seitenwände 19, 20 des Schachtelteils 14 an. Ein aus dem Schachtelteil 14 herausragender Bereich des Kragens 35 wird in Schließstellung der Verpackung durch den Deckel 15 umschlossen.
  • An der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 befindet sich ein Faltlappen. Dieser ist bei der fertigen Klappschachtel 10 nicht gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 umgefaltet und mit dieser verbunden, sondern erstreckt sich in Fortsetzung bzw. Verlängerung der Deckel-Vorderwand 25. Der Faltlappen dient als Stecklasche 40 für die Klappschachtel 10 in Schließstellung des Deckels 15.
  • Zu diesem Zweck wird die Stecklasche 40 bei der Schließbewegung in einen Spalt 41 eingeführt, der zwischen der Vorderwand 16 des Schachtelteils 14 und der Kragen-Vorderwand 36 gebildet ist. Dadurch wird eine stabile Schließstellung gewährleistet, die beim Öffnen der Klappschachtel 10 durch Erfassen des Deckels 15 leicht beseitigt werden kann. Die Stecklasche 40 ist bei geschlossener Klappschachtel 10 vollständig in den Spalt 41 eingeschoben, wird also durch die Vorderwand 16 des Schachtelteils 14 überdeckt. Eine obere Schließkante 39 der Vorderwand 16 kann dadurch, wie bei üblichen Klappschachteln, an einer Gegenkante des Deckels 15, nämlich an einer unteren, parallelen Deckelkante 47 anliegen.
  • Der Kragen 35 ist üblicherweise im Schachtelteil 14 durch Leimverbindungen fixiert. Im vorliegenden Falle befindet sich die Verleimung außerhalb des durch die Stecklasche 40 in Schließstellung abgedeckten Bereichs der Kragen-Vorderwand 36. Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel sind zwei Leimpunkte 42, 43 benachbart zu einem unteren Rand 44 der Kragen-Vorderwand 36 angeordnet. Die Leimpunkte 42, 43 gewährleisten einerseits einen ausreichenden Halt für den Kragen 35, ermöglichen andererseits aber das Einführen der Stecklasche 40 in die Schließ- bzw. Klemmstellung.
  • Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Kragen 35 zusätzlich durch Leimpunkte 45 im Bereich der Kragen-Seitenlappen 37, 38 mit den Seitenwänden 19, 20 des Schachtelteils 14 verbunden.
  • Zur leichteren Handhabung beim Öffnen und Schließen und zur Verbesserung des äußeren Erscheinungsbildes können Materialverformungen, nämlich Materialprägungen, im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand 36 und/oder im Bereich der Stecklasche 40 gebildet sein. Letztere kann durch eine verformende Prägung gegenüber der Frontseite der Kragen-Vorderwand 36 zurückgesetzt sein. Dadurch ergibt sich in Schließstellung ein absatzfreier Übergang zwischen Deckel-Vorderwand 25 und Vorderwand 16 des Schachtelteils 14.
  • Zusätzlich oder alternativ kann mindestens ein Teilbereich der Kragen-Vorderwand 36 durch prägende Formgebung gegenüber der Vorderwand 16 des Schachtelteils 14 zurückgesetzt sein, so daß ein offener Spalt für die Einführung der Stecklasche 40 entsteht.
  • Die Stecklasche 40 ist im vorliegenden Falle besonders ausgebildet, nämlich zungenförmig. Ein äußerer, freier Rand 46 ist hier kreisbogenförmig gestaltet. Dadurch ist eine zusätzliche Erleichterung beim Einführen der Stecklasche 40 in die Schließstellung gewährleistet. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Stecklasche 40 mit etwas geringerer Breite ausgebildet als die Deckel-Vorderwand 25 durch Ausstanzungen 48. Die Deckelkante 47 liegt dadurch an ihren Enden auf einer Länge von 3 mm bis 5 mm frei. Diese Abmessung der Stecklasche 40 erleichtert ebenfalls den Schließvorgang.

Claims (5)

  1. Klappschachtel (Hinge-Lid-Packung) für Zigaretten, mit einem Schachtelteil (14) aus Vorderwand (16), Rückwand (18), Seitenwänden (19, 20) und Bodenwand (17) sowie mit einem Deckel (15) mit Deckel-Vorderwand (25), Deckel-Seitenwänden (28, 29), Deckel-Oberwand (26) und einer mit der Rückwand (18) des Schachtelteils (14) schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel-Rückwand (27), wobei im Schachtelteil (14) ein Kragen (35) aus Kragen-Vorderwand (36) und Kragen-Seitenlappen (37, 38) angeordnet ist, von dem ein oberer Teil über eine obere quergerichtete Schließkante des Schachtelteils (14) hinwegragt und in Schließstellung durch den Deckel (15) umfaßt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Deckel-Vorderwand (25) in Verlängerung derselben eine Stecklasche (40) angebracht ist, die in Schließstellung zwischen Kragen-Vorderwand (36) und Vorderwand (16) des Schachtelteils (14) vollständig eingeschoben ist, derart, daß die Schließkante (39) des Schachtelteils und eine untere, quergerichtete Deckelkante aneinanderliegen, wobei die Stecklasche (40) außen durch die Vorderwand (16) und innen durch die Kragen-Vorderwand (36) verdeckt ist.
  2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stecklasche (40) mit einer geringeren Breite ausgebildet ist als die Deckel-Vorderwand (25) bzw. die Kragen-Vorderwand (36) und eine zum freien Ende sich verjüngende Kontur aufweist, insbesondere zungenartig ausgebildet ist mit einem teilkreisförmigen freien Rand (46).
  3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kragen-Vorderwand (36) in einem Bereich außerhalb der Stecklasche (40) in Schließstellung durch Verklebung mit der Vorderwand (16) des Schachtelteils (14) verbunden ist, insbesondere durch zwei Leimpunkte (42, 43) benachbart zu einem unteren Rand (44) der Kragen-Vorderwand (36).
  4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kragen-Seitenlappen (37, 38) durch Leimpunkte (45) an der Innenseite der Seitenwände (19, 20) des Schachtelteils (14) befestigt sind.
  5. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kragen-Vorderwand (36) durch Druckverformung bzw. Prägen geringfügig gegenüber der Vorderwand (16) des Schachtelteils (14) zurückgesetzt ist zur Bildung eines Spalts (41) zum Einführen der Stecklasche (40) .
