Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schutzhandschuh, insbesondere für Feuerwehr- und Katastrophenhilfseinsätze sowie für Rettungsdienste.The invention relates to a protective glove, in particular for fire and disaster relief operations and for emergency services.
Herkömmliche Feuerwehrhandschuhe bestehen in der Regel aus Leder und sind im Bereich der Knöchel auf dem Handschuhrücken mit einer Verstärkung versehen. Diese Lederhandschuhe weisen zwar angenehme Trageigenschaften auf, doch sind sie nicht ausreichend temperaturbeständig und leiten die Wärme relativ gut auf die Haut weiter. Außerdem ist die mechanische Stabilität der Handschuhe oft nicht ausreichend. Beim Hantieren mit scharfkantigen Gegenständen, wie Glasscherben, bietet Leder keinen ausreichenden Schutz. Auch kann durch Leder Flüssigkeit durchdringen, was für den Träger nicht nur unangenehm ist, sondern auch eine Gesundheitsgefährdung darstellen kann, wenn Chemikalien oder auch HIV-infiziertes Blut durch die Handschuhe dringen.Conventional firefighting gloves are usually made of leather and are reinforced in the area of the ankles on the back of the glove. Die Aufgabe wird mit einem Handschuh der eingangs genannten Art gelöst, der erfindungsgemäß durch eine Außenschicht aus einer hitzebeständigen Textilfaser mit geringer Wärmeleitfähigkeit, einer Zwischenschicht aus einer schnitt- und stichfesten Textilfaser sowie einem hitzebeständigen Innenfutter mit einer in einer Richtung flüssigkeitsundurchlässigen und atmungsaktiven Membran gekennzeichnet ist.The object is achieved with a glove of the type mentioned at the outset, which according to the invention is characterized by an outer layer of a heat-resistant textile fiber with low thermal conductivity, an intermediate layer of a cut and puncture-resistant textile fiber and a heat-resistant inner lining with a breathable membrane that is impermeable to liquids in one direction.
Dieser Schutzhandschuh erfüllt sämtliche Sicherheitsansprüche eines Feuerwehrhandschuhes. Die Außenschicht ist hitzebeständig und sorgt durch ihre geringe Wärmeleitfähigkeit dafür, daß sich die Hitze nicht auf das Handschuhinnere übertragen kann. Die schnitt- und stichfeste Zwischenschicht erlaubt auch das Hantieren mit scharfkantigen Gegenständen, wie zerbrochenen Fensterscheiben, scharfkantigen Blechteilen und dergleichen. Die in einer Richtung flüssigkeitsundurchlässige Membran auf dem Innenfutter verhindert das Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten aller Art, behindert jedoch nicht das Ableiten von Schweiß in Form von Wasserdampf weg vom Körper. Die Membran ist außerdem atmungsaktiv, so daß sich insgesamt ein hoher Tragekomfort des Handschuhes ergibt. Die Zwischenschicht kann dabei aus einem Vlies aus Para-Aramidfasern gebildet sein, auf das ein Gewebe aus Aramidfasern als Handschuhaußenschicht aufkaschiert ist. Als Vliesmaterial kommt hierbei beispielsweise das unter dem Handelsnamen "Kevlar" bekannte Material in Frage. Die Außenschicht kann beispielsweise aus dem Aramid-Fasergewebe mit der Bezeichnung "Nomex" gebildet sein. Nomex-Gewebe war bislang für Handschuhe nicht einsetzbar, da sich von diesem Gewebe an den Nahtstellen leicht Fasern lösen können. Durch das Aufkaschieren dieses Gewebes auf ein Kevlar-Vlies lassen sich diese Nachteile jedoch beseitigen, so daß dieses Gewebe nun auch zur Handschuhfertigung eingesetzt werden kann. Für das Innenfutter eignet sich insbesondere eine allgemein unter dem Begriff "Gore-Tex" bekannte Membran, die auf ein hitzebeständiges Material aufkaschiert werden kann.This protective glove meets all the safety requirements of a firefighting glove. For example, the material known under the trade name "Kevlar" can be used as the nonwoven material. The outer layer can be formed, for example, from the aramid fiber fabric with the designation "Nomex". Until now, Nomex fabric was not suitable for gloves because fibers can easily detach from the fabric at the seams. However, by laminating this fabric onto a Kevlar fleece, these disadvantages can be eliminated, so that this fabric can now also be used for glove production. A membrane which is generally known under the term "Gore-Tex" and which can be laminated onto a heat-resistant material is particularly suitable for the inner lining.
Zur Erhöhung des Tragekomforts kann auf der Handschuhinnenfläche und auf dem Handschuhrücken im Bereich der Knöchel ein Einsatz aus einer elastischen Schlingenware aus Para-Aramidfasern, die auf der Außenseite silikonbeschichtet ist, vorgesehen sein. Der Handschuh paßt sich dann allen Bewegungen der Hand an. Die Silikonbeschichtung gewährleistet eine hohe Hitzebeständigkeit und schlechte Entflammbarkeit. Weitere Vorteile können dadurch erzielt werden, daß der Handschuh mit einer langen Stulpe versehen sein kann, die auch den Unterarm schützt. Der Handschuh 10 nach den Fig. 1 und 2 ist ein Fingerhandschuh mit einer Stulpe 11, die weit über das Handgelenk hinausreicht. An der Stulpe 11 sind umlaufend Streifen 12 aus einem lichtreflektierenden Material aufgenäht. Dadurch wird der Träger des Handschuhs bei Dunkelheit besser sichtbar. Auf dem Handschuhrücken 10.1 ist im Bereich der Fingerknöchel ein Einsatz 13 aus einem begrenzt elastischen Material, aus dem auch die Handschuhinnenfläche 10.2 gefertigt ist, vorgesehen. Die Materialschichtfolge des Handschuhs 10 im Bereich dieses Einsatzes 13 sowie die angrenzenden Materialschichtfolgen sind im Schnittbild in Fig. 3 verdeutlicht. Der Handschuh 10 weist einen Innenhandschuh aus einem hitzebeständigen Material 14 auf, der mit einer in einer Richtung flüssigkeitsundurchlässigen und atmungsaktiven Membran 15 kaschiert ist. Der Handschuhrücken, mit Ausnahme des Einsatzes 13, sowie die Stulpe 11 bestehen aus einem Kevlar-Vlies 16, auf das ein Gewebe aus hitzebeständigen Nomex-Fasern 17 aufkaschiert ist. Im Bereich des Knöcheleinsatzes 13 sowie auf der Handschuhinnenfläche 10.2, wo eine höhere Dehnbarkeit des Materials erforderlich ist, ist das Kevlar-Vlies 16 durch eine Kevlar-Schlingenware 18 ersetzt, die auf ihrer Außenseite silikonbeschichtet ist. Diese Silikonbeschichtung 19 der Kevlar-Schlingenware 18 sorgt für eine gute Hitzebeständigkeit des insbesondere schnitt- und stichfesten Kevlar-Gewirkes. Durch diese Materialkombination erfüllt der erfindungsgemäße Handschuh sämtliche Anforderungen an einen Feuerwehrhandschuh, wie geringe Entflammbarkeit, Hitzebeständigkeit, geringe Wärmeleitfähigkeit, hohe Schnitt- und Stichfestigkeit, Wasserundurchlässigkeit und Atmungsaktivität.1 and 2 is a finger glove with a
