Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for transmitting at least two signal signals from a monitoring device to a spatially distant signal device by means of a signaling line, an acknowledgment relay to be switched over by pressing a button to hold the signal device off being arranged at the location of the signal device.
Circuit arrangements of the type mentioned are used, for example, to transmit signal signals for exceeding the limit values of operating variables in electrical systems. It is no problem in itself to transmit any number of message signals via a corresponding number of line pairs and signal devices with acknowledgment relays. In this context, the invention is based on the object of making it possible to transmit a plurality of message signals to a common signal device and associated acknowledgment relay with little effort for the signal line.
According to the invention, to solve this problem it is provided that when using a two-wire signal line common to all the signal signals to be transmitted by an occurring signal, an existing signal can be briefly switched off by an interruption circuit and the acknowledgment relay can thereby be reset to its starting position which switches the signal device on.
If the user of the circuit arrangement has therefore switched off the signal device by pressing the button and a second message signal occurs, the signal device is reactivated. This facility enables the notification signal to be transmitted by means of a conventional installation cable, the standardized core colors of which do not allow any assignment. In particular, the protective conductor with yellow / green marking in the installation cables must under no circumstances be used to conduct current. Another message can now be transmitted in compliance with these regulations and without the additional laying of a new line in existing systems.
From DE 25 51 951 B2, a control device for a signaling or alarm system has become known, in which a signaling loop in the signaling state is separated from the alarm device by pressing a button, which is thereby free again for signaling the response of another signaling line. However, this means that the signaling signal is no longer available at the location of the signal transmitter. In contrast, it is achieved by the invention that it is only when a second signaling signal occurs that it is transmitted to the location of the signal generator and brought to the display or message.
Multiple use of signal lines in a device for transmission and acknowledgment of fault messages according to DE 23 18 879 B2 is achieved by a matrix of diodes, contacts and signaling contacts. However, this circuit arrangement relates to the transmission and acknowledgment of fault messages between a control center and several system distributors, while the invention relates to the transmission of the fault message to a signal generator and the multiple use of the line leading to the signal generator.
The invention is explained below with reference to the embodiment shown in the figure.
In the figure, a circuit arrangement is shown, which serves to transmit two message signals M1 and M2 to a common signal device SG. For example, the message signal M1 can be the limit value of an electrical load Be assigned to the consumer while the alarm signal M2 is triggered when a limit temperature is exceeded. For the sake of simplicity, the indicator signals M1 and M2 are shown as blocks in the figure, with the exception of how the indicator signals are derived from the parameters on which they are based. The signal signals M1 and M2 are each assigned a signal relay R1 or R2, through which a signal line SL can be applied to a voltage source U. The signal line SL is shown interrupted to indicate that the signal device SG and the signal relays R1 and R2 are located at spatially distant locations.
At the location of the signal device SG there is an acknowledgment relay QR, the changeover contact of which the signal device SG applies to the signal line SL in the idle state. If an acknowledgment button QT is actuated, the acknowledgment relay QR goes into latching and switches off the signal device SG at the same time.
Each of the signal signals M1 and M2 is also supplied with an interrupt circuit US, which makes it possible to use the signal device SG for both signal signals M1 and M2. This is done by actuating the interrupt circuit US when one of the signal signals M1 or M2 occurs. The result of this is that when the second signal occurs, the other signal that already exists is briefly switched off by the interruption circuit US, and the acknowledgment relay QR is thereby reset to the starting position. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this is done in that a transistor T controlled by the interruption circuit US is switched on in the common connecting line of both signaling relays R1 and R2. After resetting the acknowledgment relay, the signal device SG responds again and informs the user that there is a further signal. He can then make sure which message it is.
The signal line SL only needs to have two live wires, so standard installation cables can be used. In particular, existing signaling devices can be converted for additional messages without laying additional lines and installing additional signaling devices.
