Definitions
- the invention relates to a non-full-surface knitted fabric according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a non-full-surface knitted fabric is known from EP 0 198 101 of the present applicants, which also had successive, parallel webs of air-impermeable knitted fabric with a higher basis weight and of more air-permeable panels with a low basis weight and recesses.
- the air-permeable zone or web with a low basis weight is formed in that there is only a connection from needle to needle in this area and there are fewer stitches per centimeter, which results in longer stitches and the gaps become larger.
- the air-impermeable zone which consists of more than three needles and there are more stitches per centimeter, there is also less space in the stitches and arises between the stitches.
- a recess is a deliberate and placed opening, which is created with the help of the laying rail and the thread feeder, because of the lack of a thread connection from stitch to stitch.
- Other knitted fabrics are described in DE-U-94 11 597, however, their full area is taken into account, which is generated by the fact that three laying rails are used with full-area retraction. It is a dense and less dense sheet running mono-axially in the weft direction.
- the less dense web is created by pulling the fabric apart across its entire length. This results in fewer stitches per centimeter, i.e. the single stitch is made longer. This creates more void in the meshes and between the meshes, which allow a higher wind passage, but involve a risk of fraying. There are no recesses or holes here.
- the diamond pattern with approximately 10 to 150 recesses per inner surface of the diamond provides the desired bi-axial stiffening of the Knitted fabric and counteracts fraying in the border area of the flag.
- the number of recesses per dm 2 is approximately 150 to 2500, but has certain deviations depending on the weight of the goods, so that with a defined repeat length and height, as well as the draw-in, the diamond size can be determined and the number of recesses can be specified precisely. Due to the special border, which can be adjusted according to the invention in terms of its width by pattern indentation, the diamonds with the recesses can be influenced as desired with regard to their strength.
- the knitted fabric according to the invention is generally designated 10.
- the diagonally crossing path 15 of the pattern can be clearly seen, a 5.4 x 5.4 cm diamond 12 with inner field 17 and border 14 being highlighted.
- the inner field 17 has 81 cutouts 16 (or the repeat 161) and a size of 2.3 x 2.3 cm.
- Recesses 16 per dm 2 were provided for different goods 1701 and 1985. They have a diameter of 0.5 mm and are spaced apart of about 1 mm. Other proportions and numbers are easily conceivable for the person skilled in the art.
- the advantage of the correspondingly used construction are the threads forming the rectangle, i.e. two threads, and not just one, as in the prior art mentioned at the beginning, which run against each other, are fully loaded under the tensile load of the wind and the weight of the flag.
- the shape and size as well as the spacing of the cutouts 16 can otherwise be chosen freely by a person skilled in the art. 1 and 2 only approximate but not the exact shape, size and spacing of the recesses, although a 1: 1 scale was otherwise chosen. A diameter of 0.5 mm with distances of about 1 mm seems suitable.
- border 14 for the inner field 17 of the diamond 12 is of particular importance according to the invention with regard to its width, since the latter can be controlled and defined in relation to the pattern intake.
- the proportions shown are advantageous and can be chosen to be smaller or larger.
- the weight per unit area of the polyester flag 20 according to the invention was reduced to 105 g / m 2 , that is to say by approximately 20%. This not only reduces the material costs, but also improves blowing and standing the flag 20 in the wind, as well as faster drying after rainfall.
- the flag 20 according to the invention also has improved elasticity in different directions.
- non-full-surface knitted fabric 10 The production of the non-full-surface knitted fabric 10 according to the invention is described below, in which diamonds 12 inevitably arise in connection with the laying rail movements.
- the content of the diamond 12 is thus composed of the following different material properties.
- the diagonally dashed lines denoted by 18 have the region of a multiplicity of small cutouts 16 which ensure better wind passage.
- the horizontally dashed lines show the area of the border 14 of the large number of small cutouts 16, which can be changed in width due to the draw-in and represent the reinforcement zone.
- two threads in a perforated needle double-drawn thread are used in the pattern feed. These serve to additionally reinforce the cutouts 16 at the cross point of the rhombus.
- Three laying rails (not shown) are moved in different ways. This means that L1 moves in a zigzag movement to the right for a limited time depending on the diamond size and then again to the left in the same period.
- L2 moves in a zigzag movement for a limited time like L1, but to the left and then to the right again at the same time interval.
- L3 serves to solidify the diamond formed by L1 and L2 and only makes a stationary zigzag movement.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a non-full-surface knitted fabric according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a non-full-surface knitted fabric is known from EP 0 198 101 of the present applicants, which also had successive, parallel webs of air-impermeable knitted fabric with a higher basis weight and of more air-permeable panels with a low basis weight and recesses. The air-permeable zone or web with a low basis weight is formed in that there is only a connection from needle to needle in this area and there are fewer stitches per centimeter, which results in longer stitches and the gaps become larger.
On the other hand, in the air-impermeable zone, which consists of more than three needles and there are more stitches per centimeter, there is also less space in the stitches and arises between the stitches. In other words, a recess is a deliberate and placed opening, which is created with the help of the laying rail and the thread feeder, because of the lack of a thread connection from stitch to stitch. Other knitted fabrics are described in DE-U-94 11 597, however, their full area is taken into account, which is generated by the fact that three laying rails are used with full-area retraction. It is a dense and less dense sheet running mono-axially in the weft direction.
The less dense web is created by pulling the fabric apart across its entire length. This results in fewer stitches per centimeter, i.e. the single stitch is made longer. This creates more void in the meshes and between the meshes, which allow a higher wind passage, but involve a risk of fraying. There are no recesses or holes here.
It should be obvious that the experts are always striving to achieve further improvements in terms of technical progress so that knitted fabrics can be manufactured that can withstand the significant weather influences such as storms and rain and, with excellent pressure resistance, a longer lifespan than guarantee previous flag knitted fabrics without fraying, so that the flag buyers and owners are satisfied even more.
This object is achieved by the knitted fabric characterized in claim 1.
Surprisingly, it has been shown that the diamond pattern with approximately 10 to 150 recesses per inner surface of the diamond provides the desired bi-axial stiffening of the Knitted fabric and counteracts fraying in the border area of the flag. The number of recesses per dm 2 is approximately 150 to 2500, but has certain deviations depending on the weight of the goods, so that with a defined repeat length and height, as well as the draw-in, the diamond size can be determined and the number of recesses can be specified precisely. Due to the special border, which can be adjusted according to the invention in terms of its width by pattern indentation, the diamonds with the recesses can be influenced as desired with regard to their strength.
Further advantages and features emerge from the subclaims which, together with the main claim, can be of importance according to the invention.
A non-limiting embodiment of the invention is described below.
Es zeigt:
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 1
- a plan view of a section of a knitted fabric according to the invention; and
- Fig. 2
- a side view in the section of the knitted fabric of FIG. 1 used as a flag blowing on a mast.
In Fig. 1, the knitted fabric according to the invention is generally designated 10. The diagonally crossing
For reasons of strength, however, reasonable values for the number are for a flag 20 (cf. FIG. 2) or similar hoisting devices and banners between 10 and 150
The advantage of the correspondingly used construction are the threads forming the rectangle, i.e. two threads, and not just one, as in the prior art mentioned at the beginning, which run against each other, are fully loaded under the tensile load of the wind and the weight of the flag.
The shape and size as well as the spacing of the
In addition, the border 14 for the inner field 17 of the
Furthermore, compared to the prior art mentioned at the outset, the weight per unit area of the
The production of the non-full-surface knitted
The content of the
Three laying rails (not shown) are moved in different ways. This means that L1 moves in a zigzag movement to the right for a limited time depending on the diamond size and then again to the left in the same period.
With simultaneous start like L1, L2 moves in a zigzag movement for a limited time like L1, but to the left and then to the right again at the same time interval.
L3 dient zur Verfestigung der von L1 und L2 gebildeten Raute und macht ortsfest nur eine Zickzackbewegung.L3 serves to solidify the diamond formed by L1 and L2 and only makes a stationary zigzag movement.
