Abstract

Um bei einem Katalysatorgehäuse einen besseren Strömungsverlauf im Trichterbereich zu erhalten werden die Eingangs- und Ausgangstrichter (2; 3) mit ihren Großdurchmessern an Anbindungsschrägen (11; 12) des Katalysator-Wickelbleches (1) angesetzt und verschweißt. Die Trichter (2; 3) werden aus einem Rohrstück durch Aufweiten des einen Endes und Einziehen des anderen Endes hergestellt. Hierdurch erhält man eine deutliche Gewichtsverringerung gegenüber aus Blechplatinen tiefgezogenen Trichtern.
