Abstract

Bei einem Brenner zum Betrieb einer Brennkammmer mit einem flüssigen und/oder gasförmigen Brennstoff (12, 16) wird die dazu benötigte Verbrennungsluft (7) durch tangentiale Lufteintrittskanäle (5, 6) in einen Innenraum des Brenners geführt. Durch diese Strömungsführung entsteht im Innenraum eine Drallströmung, welche am Ausgang des Brenners eine Rückströmzone induziert. Um die sich dort bildende Flammenfront zu stabilisieren, wird bei jedem den Brenner bildenden Teilkörper (1, 2) mindestens eine Zone (27) vorgesehen, innerhalb welcher Eintrittsöffnungen (29) für die Eindüsung einer Zusatzluft (32) in die Drallströmung (7a) vorgesehen sind. Durch diese Eindüsung bildet sich an der Innenwand der Teilkörper (1, 2) einen Film, welcher verhindert, dass die Flamme entlang der Innenwand der Teilkörper (1, 2) in den Innenraum des Brenners zurückschlagen kann.
