Das erfindungsgemäße Wandelement ist somit aus zwei oder mehr Wandkörpersegmenten und doppelt so vielen Randprofilsegmenten zusammengefügt. Dabei können jeweils ein Wandkörpersegment und zwei Randprofilsegmente zu einem einheitlichen Segment zusammengefügt sein. Dies ist jedoch nicht zwingend erforderlich; denn die Trennfugen zwischen den einzelnen Wandkörpersegmenten und den Randprofilsegmenten können durchaus auch gegeneinander versetzt sein. Dies ist sogar im Hinblick auf den Montageaufwand, die Festigkeit und das optische Erscheinungsbild zu bevorzugen. Das den oberen Abschluß des Wandelementes bildende Abschlußprofil läßt sich auf jedes der Wandkörpersegmente des Wandelements aufsetzen. Auf diese Weise läßt sich die Höhe eines Wandelements mit minimalem Aufwand an die jeweiligen Anforderungen anpassen. Die durch die Erfindung erzielte Flexibilität beschränkt sich jedoch keineswegs allein auf die Höhe des jeweiligen Wandelements; vielmehr läßt sich auch deren Gestaltung mit ebensowenig Aufwand beeinflussen, indem unterschiedliche Ausstattungsdetails aufweisende Segmente (ohne Fenster, mit Fenster, mit Lochblech, mit Magnetwand, mit Schreibwand) miteinander kombiniert werden können. Der Vielfalt der Kombinationsmöglichkeiten von einzelnen Wandelementsegmenten miteinander sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. So können beispielsweise im Rahmen der Erfindung besonders lange Randprofilsegmente durchaus aus zwei oder mehr einzelnen Abschnitten zusammengefügt sein. In diesem Sinne zeichnet sich eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung dadurch aus, daß pro Randprofil ein Randprofilsegment aus zwei Abschntten besteht, von denen eines einen Gehrungsanschnitt aufweist, der zum Anschluß des Abschlußprofils geeignet ist. Dieser Randprofilsegmentabschnitt nimmt stets, d. h. unabhängig von der Anzahl der Wandkörpersegmente des betreffenden Wandelements, die oberste Stellung ein. abgeschrägten Abschlußprofils A an die Randprofilsegmente
im Bereich der oberen Ecken des jeweiligen
Wandelements W ergibt. In entsprechender Weise sind
auch die unteren Endbereiche der Randprofilsegmente 5
des mittleren Segments 2 und des oberen Segments 3 des
Wandelements um 45° nach außen ansteigend abgeschrägt,
so daß die jeweils benachbarten Wandprofilsegmente
bündig aneinander anschließen.All
Es ist schematisch dargestellt, daß einzelne Wandkörpersegmente
4 mit einem Fenster 9 durchbrochen sein
können. Statt eines verglasten Fensters kann in
gleicher Weise ein Lochblech, eine Magnetwand, eine
Schreibwand oder dgl. vorgesehen sein. Ersichtlich kann
bei jeder der drei dargestellten Wandelemenet-Varianten
das mittlere Segment 2 und/oder das obere Segment 3
weggelassen werden. Ebenso können jeweils das mittlere
Segment 2 und das obere Segment 3 hinsichtlich ihrer
Position gegeneinander ausgetauscht werden. Ferner ist
es möglich, einzelne Segmente der unterschiedlichen
Varianten untereinander zu kombinieren. Dies zeigt
bereits die ungeheure Vielfalt von Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten,
die die Erfindung eröffnet. Mit einem vorgegebenen
Bestand von Wandelementen lassen sich mit einem
Höchstmaß an Flexibilität unterschiedlichst gestaltete

dementsprechend zwei lange und zwei kurze Randprofilsegmente
vorgesehen. Allerdings sind die Randprofilsegmente
in einer anderen Abfolge übereinander angeordnet
als die Wandkörpersegmente. Und zwar ist das niedrige
Wandkörpersegment oben auf das hohe Wandkörpersegment
aufgesetzt; demgegenüber sind die kurzen Randprofilsegmente
unterhalb der langen Randprofilsegmente angeordnet.
Auf diese Weise sind die Trennfugen zwischen den
Wandkörpersegmenten einerseits und den Randprofilsegmenten
andererseits zueinander versetzt; im Bereich der
Trennfuge T zwischen den beiden Wandkörpersegmenten 4
ist somit das Randprofil R nicht unterbrochen, und im
Bereich der Trennfugen zwischen den beiden aneinander
stoßenden Randprofilsegmenten ist das Wandkörpersegment
nicht unterbrochen. Auf diese Weise läßt sich ein
mehrere aufeinander aufgesetzte Wandkörpersegmente
umfassendes Wandelement herstellen, welches ohne die
Verwendung weiterer Verbindungselemente (vgl. Fig. 1)
allein aufgrund der im Bereich der Trennfugen T
durchgehenden Randprofilsegmente eine ausreichende
Steifigkeit aufweist. Zudem wirkt sich der Umstand, daß
die Randprofile im Bereich der Trennfugen T zwischen
den einander benachbarten Wandkörpersegmenten
durchgehen, in einer optisch ansprechenden Gestaltung

Wandkörpersegment oben auf das hohe Wandkörpersegment
aufgesetzt. Danach werden das Abschlußprofil oben auf
das niedrige Wandkörpersegment aufgesetzt und das
zweite lange Randprofil montiert, letzteres ebenfalls
um das Maß der Erhöhung gegenüber seiner früheren
Position nach oben versetzt. Anschließend werden die
beiden kurzen Randprofilsegmente unterhalb der langen
Randprofilsegmente an dem unteren, hohen Wandkörpersegment
montiert. Auf diese Weise entsteht das rechts
unten in Fig. 2 dargestellte fertige Wandelement. Die

mit den entsprechenden Wandkörpersegmenten erfolgt
dabei mittels einer Clip-Mechanik, die keinerlei
