Abstract

A moist wipe (2), made from a non-woven fabric or other soft material, is impregnated with sterilized or distilled water (3) or a physiological solution. Prior to use it is held in an impermeable sachet (1) to retain both its moisture and sterility, the sachet being printed with a symbol to denote the intended purpose of the wipe.

Technical area

The object of this invention is a towel made in the support of the preferred type, impregnated distilled, sterile water or physiological solutions or other liquid suitable for possible ingestion, preferably packaged to use a only times that preserve its sterility and content expected humidity.

State of the art

We have known for a long time towels impregnated with detergent liquids in disposable packages or in packages containing a certain number of pieces.

Known towels are generally made of non-woven fabric woven, usually quite soft, impregnated with solutions, detergents, and these are particularly suitable for cleaning objects such as glasses, for example example, or to the toilet of newborns and used especially to change the diapers.

Other towels are known to facilitate the make-up removal and are therefore impregnated with substances suitable for this purpose.

We still know the refreshing towels whose function is to relieve, for example during the days hot or in dusty environments.

Still others are made by producers of perfumes and cologne and are soaked in perfume or cologne.

Or, we know the disinfectant towels for small wounds or abrasions.

None of the towels described or known are suitable for solve hygiene problems, in cases where the only possible liquid to use is distilled water, sterilized or physiological or neutral solutions.

Problems of this kind can often arise, for example. example with young children, whenever the child throws his pacifier on the ground and that we don't have to handy bottle of mineral water for be able to wash it.

Anyone who has ever dealt with young children is aware of how a tiny problem like the one we just exposed can compromise the serenity of a walk.

It is obvious that it is not possible to clean the pacifier of a baby bottle with a detergent towel, impregnated with a solution which cannot be ingested and which, moreover, has an unpleasant flavor; so that the all detergent, refreshing towels, perfumed or disinfectant on sale are absolutely unsuitable for the use briefly described here.

Another situation in which the towels currently commercially available can be used is the one in which it should rid an eye of a foreign body such as, for example example, a grain of sand, a gnat, etc.

And again, a case in which the towels currently in the trade can not be used is one where for example, moisten the lips of a patient.

Bases of the invention

The object of this invention is a towel made in the support of the type that we prefer, impregnated with distilled, sterile water or solutions physiological or other liquid, such as mineral water, orangeade, etc :, suitable for the uses mentioned and that one can ingest, preferably in disposable packages after use which preserve its sterility with the content in expected humidity.

Preferred embodiment of the invention

According to this invention, the towel (2) is in one of its embodiments impregnated with distilled water (3) or physiological or neutral solution and then placed in a sealed package (1) which stores without alterations the sterility characteristics and the moisture content, until the opening of the package.

The packaging (1) is of the type normally used for similar products and wears, depending on the liquid of which is soaked the towel, a mark impossible to confuse which indicates the preferred destination of use.

Thus, for example, on the making of FIG. 1, in which contains a towel soaked in water sterilized, or equivalent neutral solution, is printed the symbol of a children's pacifier, or another similar symbol which immediately makes the towel use destination.

This symbol identifies, in practice, a possibility of general use.

As we saw earlier, the towel can also be impregnated with physiological solution which makes it particularly suitable for use, for example, for cleanliness of one eye or small wounds, abrasions and other; so in order to qualify it easily and without error, on the function illustrated in figure 3 is printed the typical red cross sign of these products.

Figure 4 shows the function which contains a towel particularly suitable for refreshing lips, soaked in water to which we have added, by example, lemon, orange, etc .; in order to make it immediately recognizable is presented on the depending on the image of the fruit or any other element used to flavor the towel, in the illustrated case a lemon.

The towel targeted by this invention can, as we have seen, be impregnated with any liquid, and therefore also liquid suitable for ingestion such as, for example, water mineral, orangeade, lemonade, in order to be used to quench thirst, or compound liquid, by example of a glucose solution that is suitable, for example for example, people with diabetes, or liquids alcoholic or partially alcoholized to use for minor discomfort, fainting and other.

Obviously, although the towel targeted by this invention has been described as consisting of a base of non-woven fabric, it can be made in bases different such as, for example, cotton wool, sterile hydrophilic gauze or other material that has main features of retaining good amount of liquid to release it at the time of use, to be gentle to the touch and, obviously, to be able to be rendered and kept sterile.

What we have described and illustrated so far shows obviously that the towel targeted by this invention resolves with certainty and without inconvenience problems briefly described at the start.

Claims (5)

Napkin impregnated with liquid solution, consisting of a base element of appropriate size made of nonwoven fabric or other material having the desired softness and suitable for soaking in liquid, characterized in that the liquid used to soak the base is sterilized or distilled water and that the treated napkin is enclosed in a sealed package, to be discarded after use, able to preserve its sterility and the degree of humidification. Napkin impregnated with liquid solution, consisting of a base element of suitable size made of nonwoven fabric or other material having the desired softness and suitable for soaking with liquid, characterized in that the liquid used to soak the base is a physiological solution. Napkin impregnated with liquid solution, according to claim 1, characterized in that the liquid which soaks the towel is additive lemon or the like, which makes it suitable for cooling the lips. Napkin impregnated with liquid solution, according to the preceding claims, characterized in that a symbol is printed on the garment which makes it possible to immediately define the destination of use of the towel. Napkin impregnated with liquid solution, according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the symbol on the package is a pacifier for children, to indicate the presence inside a towel soaked in distilled water or neutral solution without flavor capable of sterile cleaning.
