Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for isolating infectious Patients and a protective suit for infectious patients.
- the object of the invention is therefore to find smocks and ways to largely prevent such contamination and thus avoiding the disinfection effort, at least considerably to reduce.
- the solution according to the invention is that the patient before the treatment to be carried out in a protective suit is, which is designed as a fabric. This remains during of the entire treatment and transport closed.
- protective suit can also be used as far as it is for treatment is required to be partially or fully open and after the Treatment can be closed again.
- the protective suit As a fabric is placed over the patient, including his bed, with the head included in a hood with a facial cutout becomes. The latter has the advantage that after operations or even in a state in which the patient is not moving may be an encapsulation and thus prevention of Contamination occurs.
- the protective suit according to the invention has closures and is cut so that the protective suit is in its open position represents a fabric on which the patient is placed and the patient into this fabric, which is adapted to his body is wrapped with the closures closed.
- the protective suit envelop the patient as a whole or also be adapted to individual limbs.
- For a pure transport function it suffices and it is most convenient if the Patient is completely covered by the protective suit without the protective suit is adapted to individual limbs.
- it has proven to be advantageous for example two separate leg pockets or sleeves with cuffs or to provide other closable openings, around individual parts or areas of the body and / or the To make limbs accessible for treatment.
- the protective suit can also be designed as a fabric panel be that about the patient including his bedding with the head in a hood with a cutout on the face is recorded.
- To this protective suit as well To be able to open for treatment purposes are closable openings provided.
- the protective suit is made of one is made to isolate against germs or cocci.
- a fabric made of microfibers is particularly popular proven its washability, so that the protective suit many times is reusable.
- a patient surgical suit has also become known (DE 75 00 349 U1), which in addition to protection against cooling after the Surgery also involves giving off germs from the patient's skin to prevent the surrounding air from the operating room.
- this is a completely closed one Suit that must be put on by the patient himself.
- the only opening for this is an overlapping incision intended.
- Appropriate for access during surgery Openings cut into the suit, which is a single use is thought. Aside from being a reuse this suit is not possible and the patient is always in must be able to put this suit on himself this protective suit has the disadvantage that the cut open Openings can no longer be closed and therefore on these Protection against contamination is no longer available.
- the Protective suit is designed as a fabric with closures, on which the patient is placed or over which the patient is spread, and the patient wrapped in this fabric becomes. This makes the protective suit easy to put on too disabled or immobile patients, without that the nursing staff contaminates itself.
- the protective suit 1 according to FIG. 1 is in a closed form shown and has leg parts 11 and 11 '. They are zippers 13 and 13 'provided in the upper part of the Protective suit 1 include a center piece 14. The zippers 13 and 13 'are opened in the direction of the arrows continuously up to the end of the leg parts 11 and 11 ', so that these completely opened to a coherent surface can be. The middle part 14 is then between the Leg parts 11 and 11 'folded, so that again a closed Surface arises on which the patient lies, even if that parts 11, 11 'released by the zippers 13, 13' and 14 of the protective suit 1 are unfolded.
- the protective suit can also have a hood 12 that can be firmly cut, or also by a zipper is scheduled.
- the hood 12 faces on both sides Tabs 121, which can cover the sides of the head, so that the entire patient, except for the face, is enveloped.
- a drawstring 122 (FIGS. 3 and 4) be attached to the hood edge, so that the hood 12 as Head protection down to a narrow face lets close. Also at leg or arm openings such pulling tapes 122 can be arranged around them Close openings close to the limbs.
- the handling of the protective suit is very simple and can also be used in patients who are not themselves can put on a protective suit.
- the open one Protective suit 1 over the bed or the stretcher then the patient lies on it or is on laid this document. Then the opened page or Leg parts 11, 11 'struck over the patient and the Zippers 13 and 13 'against the direction of arrows P closed.
- the head lies on the hood 12, which is also closed by Velcro fasteners and / or straps 122 so that only the face remains free.
- the patient can be transported or be placed on the X-ray table. Important here is just that no metal parts in the manufacture of the protective suit 1 use, as these are the x-rays would disturb.
- zippers are used those made of non-metallic material, preferably plastic consist.
- the division of the protective suit 1 into the leg parts 11 and 11 ' has the advantage that the limbs are enveloped in the protective suit, are clearly visible and thus the Treatment is simplified, for example if only one leg to be X-rayed. But it can also be that one leg other treatment should be done, for which an opening this leg part 11 or 11 'is required. It is then expedient, not a continuous zipper 13 or 13 'to use, but to provide the zippers so that each of the leg parts 11 or 11 'independently of the other leg part can be opened, for example only to make the foot accessible for treatment.
- the Zipper 13 can therefore be divided so that only that Leg part 11 can be opened. Is e.g.
- Additional zippers 15 'and 16' are therefore provided, around just the foot or leg or just the thigh to expose.
- opening the zippers 15 'or 16 ' each reaching to the edge of the protective suit, can this part 17 or 17 'of the protective suit 1 to the side be folded, so that even in the open position continuous web of fabric remains as a base.
- part 17 'of protective suit 1 is folded back and closed with the zippers 15 'and 16'.
- Such partial openings can also be used for exposure of the arm or part of the arm may be provided.
- FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of a protective suit 2, the whole patient without limb demarcation envelops.
- Velcro fasteners 23 are provided as closures. These are provided in pieces as a continuous Velcro fastener is difficult to close without warping. In addition, such faults create unwanted ones Openings.
- the protective suit is cut so that the patient does not must cover, but enveloped from head to toe in this becomes.
- the patient is then placed on the open protective suit and wrapped in this, the protective suit with tear or Velcro closures are sealed germ-tight.
- the protective suit 2 is designed like a sleeping bag in which the individual links are not taken into account by the cutting and are separated.
- For wrapping the head is one Hood 12 provided with its rag 22 around the head is put around.
- the protective suit is closed with Velcro fasteners 23.
- the closures must hold well, must not open, on the other hand, disinfection by washing and Disinfectants survive well and are especially allowed for X-ray treatments and MRI examinations no metal parts included.
- the protective suit must be suitable for treatment his. This means that the material has no interference caused during treatment or examination regarding Magnetism (magnetic resonance imaging), in radiological examinations and x-rays. This applies in particular to the Closures.
- infusion lines to the patient's infusion needle through the suit lead out, so that with infusions the patient no longer must be touched.
- Velcro fasteners are particularly suitable for this 23, as shown in Figure 2, where between each The infusion lines are led out.
- FIG. 3 shows a further variant of the protective suit, the protective suit 3 - similar to that in Figure 1 - with Zippers 33, 33 'and a middle part 34 equipped is. Furthermore, sleeves 38 and sleeve extensions 39, 39 'are provided, with a Velcro strap 37 or a pull strap 122 can be closed. The tops of sleeves 38 or 38 'are continuously closed by a zipper 35 or 35' open or close, so that when opening the zippers 35 and 33 opened to a continuous surface can be put on and envelop the patient. The arrows P indicate the appropriate opening direction Zippers.
- the hood 32 is with collar tabs 36, which are designed as Velcro, on the neck part of the Protective suit 3 attachable. Instead of the tabs 121 (FIG.
- a drawstring 122 is provided which covers the hood 32 contracts except for a face detail 44.
- This too Protective suit 3 can have various closable openings be provided to individual parts or areas of the body or also the limbs accessible for treatment make, as shown for example in Figures 1 and 4.
- FIG. 4 shows another type of protective suit according to the invention, in which for wrapping the patient this is not put on the opened protective suit, but the Protective suit 4 is designed as a fabric that over the Patient including his bedding is laid.
- a hood 42 in the fabric that the Picks up head and has a face cutout 42 which can be adapted to the face by a drawstring 122.
- the part 47 or 47 ' can be opened the middle Velcro 43 and the two Velcro Fold 45 and 46 or 45 'and 46' to the side, whereby the coherent fabric is retained.
- Treatment part 47 or 47 ' is folded back and closed with the closures 43, 45 and 46 or 45 'and 46'.
- other openings in the Protective suit 4 can be provided, for example arms or To make legs accessible.
- This type of protective suit 4 has the advantage that the patient does not want to be wrapped opened protective suit must be bedded, which is incapable of movement Patients due to anesthesia or too Injury is essential.
- the material used for the protective suits consists of a bacterial insulating material that is breathable but water impermeable is. With the already tried protective suits a microfiber fabric was used. This substance has proved to be isolatable against bacteria and germs in tests proven. This substance also has multiple disinfection treatments, e.g. Cooking in the wash and other, several times survived perfectly without its isolating effect to lose.
- the invention has great economic and medical Importance.
- the previous effort in disinfection is considerable. In this way, high savings can be made.
- the protective suit according to the invention is suitable for almost all situations easily adaptable and therefore very versatile. He is easy to manufacture and above all reusable.
- the problem has been shown to be more resistant Germs or cocci are surprisingly good at this can be solved with little effort.
